@Theawkwardblonde @JW2021 I'm still hanging in there waiting for baby to make an arrival too, 38+5 today! Had a sweep on Monday and was 2cm dilated, 50% effaced so was really hoping it would have kicked off by now but not yet☹️ how are you both feeling? X

Actually super fit n healthy just a tight belly every now & then - no sickness just feels like an elbow stuck in my ribs is all! No signs of anything 🤷🏼

Hi ladies a quick update. He came at around 14:35 this afternoon. He weighed a huge 9lb6oz. He got stuck in my pelvis(shoulder dysphasia).. This was a traumatic birth experience for me but as I lost 600ml blood. I got rushed to theatre to get stitches. I am attaching a pic but babies face look slightly blue because head was out for quite some time.

@jadey1991 huge congratulations I’m so glad he’s here safe and you’re both ok. Hope you’re feeling alright despite it being traumatic?!

What was his weight on the scans?

We have called our little girl Nova, will pop a pic on soon!

Thanks hun. Aww what a lovely name. We are calling him Josiah. His weight on scan (30/11/21) was apparently 6lb15oz... so a big big difference. I am feeling ok, just really tired.

Oh wow @jadey1991, that doesn't sound much fun, imagine if you'd have been left to go to term! Sorry to hear it was a traumatic experience but you must be so relieved that he's here safe and sound and you're not pregnant anymore! He's gorgeous, your daughters will love him x

@jadey1991 Congratulations hun on your handsome boy 💙 lovely name too! So sorry you ended up with a traumatic experience with shoulder dystocia (same as my 2nd born) but so glad baby is well and the bruising will go down quick enough x @tuxedocat lovely name ❤

@burtle4 thank you hun. It actually feels really weird not being pregnant 🤦🏽‍♀️ but having baby in my arms is amazing. He is here safe and sound and I thank every single one of you ladies for all the support.

@lovebeingmum9 thank you my dear. Yes very traumatic so I can only imagine how you felt. Can't wait to hear your birthing story.

@JW2021 I am also due Christmas Day. No signs of anything happening yet. My OH thinks it won’t be till January but I’m hopeful for baby arriving before Christmas! This is my 1st baby so I imagine that OH might be right though.

Aww @jadey1991 sorry to hear it didn't go very smoothly but so happy to see little Josiah 💙 take care of yourself and enjoy the newborn cuddles! I haven't had the courage to buy a baby grow with born in 2021 on it incase he's late 😅 so cute

@jadey1991 congratulation's glad to hear he arrived safe and sound but not about it being so traumatic, hope you arn't feeling too poorly, at least you know why you were struggling so much he was a big boy!

I ended up in today after my midwife app for monitoring, they gave me a scan im also hanging in at 38 +2 she is measuring 8lb so im glad shell be coming out via planned section on monday, her brother was 8lb 5 so im thinking they will be around the same.... scary thing is midwife hadnt read my notes and when i was in was like yea we will give you a sweep then book induction i was like no you bloody will not, lots of complications last time and an abruption so not something thats possible... nearly died was so excited to leave i thought they were gonna try pull my section date forward but everything was perfect and left it be!

@cutejeans aww thanks darling. I'm doing ok, wry sore, but be had a very unsettled night. Josiah is doing well. Yes bruIsing has gone from his face now.
I totally forgot about the first poo lol.

I forgot that it's not just the first poo, it's the second, the third, the fourth.... Dexter is 5 days old and only just started pooing properly!

@jadey1991 I think so, he did his first proper one last night but I couldn't see what colour it was because it was so dark! I love how now the babies are arriving the poo talk starts 😆

Yes the poops! We are still on sticky black poo which isn’t fun at all, it’s like tar!
