@xTinkerbell I was suppose to say 40 weeks not 49🤦🏽‍♀️

OP posts:
xTinkerbell · 08/12/2021 11:47

@jadey1991 I thought you meant 40. I was fine till I hit 41 weeks the overnight I became raging I was still pregnant. Did have quite a time of it but I always say if i was told I had to go through all that again for another I’d still do it. Thankfully I won’t though!

Not a clue at all! I keep flip flopping whereas with my first I didn’t know gender but was absolutely convinced he was a boy. I think I’m leaning a little bit more towards boy this time but sometimes I think it might a girl.

Hope you’re doing okay

xTinkerbell · 08/12/2021 11:47

@Decadesbcun Christmas Day due date?

JW2021 · 08/12/2021 13:19

Yep! Me too - Dec 25th - everything organized just need a baby now! I go to see my OB on Fri - I’m going to get an extra scan cause I’m measuring 39 weeks 🤷🏼 I can help thinking I’ll be induced before the 25th simply because the Dr/hospital want us to fit into their schedule…..seems to be the pattern here in the USA anyway. Hope to have more info on Friday….. can’t wait for this little guy to arrive!

xTinkerbell · 08/12/2021 14:17

Seems like there’s a few Christmas Day due dates. Wonder if we’ll have any little ones sharing birthdays

Emilytait · 08/12/2021 14:29

has anyone had bad nausea return the last month ? i feel like there is something wrong with me getting 'morning sickness' again after it went away 2nd trimester..

jadey1991 · 08/12/2021 15:01

@xTinkerbell aww bless, see I have two girls already and so happy we are having our first son. I'm due Xmas day too but I'm not sore due he will make that date. Me says he will be early to. Not sure by how long.
@Emilytait I haven't experienced it myself but yes it does come back. 3rd trimester is just like 1st trimester unfortunately.

@tinkerbell my sister had a back to back birth and said it was a horrible labour in her experience....very painful! I know babies can change position right at the last minute though so I suppose there's no telling until the actual labour?
Aw it's nice how we are all nearing the end of our pregnancies now.....very exciting! can't wait to hear everyone's baby news,names,gender/sexes and birth stories! I'm knackered today.....will be 39wks on friday, still ill and with our 4 children aged 10,7,4 & 2 now home (and homelearning) until my due date.....I've got backache and sickness too! my insomnia has gone the last few nights with I'm glad about as I need the extra few hours.....back to feeling a bit overwhelmed with responsibilities today! Hope your all well x

jadey1991 · 08/12/2021 15:41

@lovebeingmum9 aww having all your children home again must be tiring. I'm glad your feeling a little better. I'm like you I can't wait to hear everyone's stories. But like I said before I do hope we all stay in contact. I'm feeling ok today. I managed to sleep well last night. I suppose I made up for it for sleeping the night before at all. X

Just out of curiosity for those who've been pregnant before, what were your first signs of labour?? FTM here and sorry if this is TMI but I've had an awful tummy all day, can't stop going to the toilet😩 could this be a sign something's happening or am I being optimistic?🤣

JW2021 · 08/12/2021 15:58

Ooooo good question I’d like to know - cause I’m the same - or maybe its just every time I eat a salad…….🤷🏼 💩

xTinkerbell · 08/12/2021 16:03

@jadey1991 Awww so lovely to have a boy after 2 girls. I really don’t mind what I have. Would be lovely to have a girl when I already have a boy but would love my little one to have a brother because they’re so close in age so I’m quite happy either way. We also know we’d like at least one more, maybe 2 in the future.

@lovebeingmum9 definitely very painful. It was horrible. This baby is back to back to and now that I know that I’m really glad it’s a c section because even though that recovery is tough and I don’t know that I could do another back to back labour.

@cutejeans I had none then lost my plug and went into labour a couple of hours later with my first but I know for some people that can happen a few weeks before labour.

jadey1991 · 08/12/2021 16:04

@cutejeans they do say that you have diarrhoea to empty tour belly out in preparation for labour. However, are you experiencing cramps? Have you lost your musics plug? What other symptoms are you experiencing
@JW2021 also you too hun with the questions I'm asking above?

OP posts:
cutejeans · 08/12/2021 16:11

@jadey1991 I've had some period-like cramps but I'm not sure if that's just because I have a bad stomach? And I thought I was losing my mucus plug at around 34/35 weeks but I'm not so sure it was🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 I'm not having contractions or anything so I think I may just have a tummy bug! Everyone says you will 'just know' when you're in labour but I have no idea what I'm looking out for or what to expect😭

LouLou0505 · 08/12/2021 16:31

@cutejeans - I'm the same with it being my first baby I have no clue!

Me and my other half were laughing last night because I was getting braxton hicks a lot and I said wouldn't it be funny if I ended up having actual contractions but I didn't realise to start!

I did my first colostrum harvest today as I'm not going to breastfeed but want him to have the good stuff, I was amazed at how much I got! But I got braxton hicks instantly after 😂

jadey1991 · 08/12/2021 16:44

@cutejeans contractions do feel like period like cramps. However you will defo know when your in labour as they are intense and you may or may not cry out in pain. Mucus plug has a tinge of blood in it and the discharge is like snot(sticky/stingy). You may just have a tummy bug but keep an eye on the cramps. Time them if you can just to see how often they are. You may also be experiencing braxton hicks.

@LouLou0505 they do say that nipple stimulation brings in labour so be careful lool 🤣🤣🤣

@jadey1991 - that's what my friend said 😂 38weeks tomorrow and I'm ready! Let's get this sweep and harvesting going 😂😂

jadey1991 · 08/12/2021 17:04

@LouLou0505 loool🤣🤣aww get this show on the road girl... haha

Hi all! I’ve been back to up antenatal today as my liver levels have risen and I will be induced next week at 39wks. Was on the monitor for abit but they’re happy with her so that’s good.

So frustrating as it was said at the start then it changed and then it’s back again, awaiting a call from the doctor to see what the plan is. Feels weird to know baby will be here before Christmas!
I’ve been having a lot of tightenings / period pains and my midwife thinks my body is slowly
Preparing anyway so we’ll see if we get to induction or not. I’m still working and staying active and working out as much as poss but perhaps should start clocking in the early nights ready 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

jadey1991 · 08/12/2021 18:08

@tuxedocat aww hun, I suppose that's good news in a way.. just think next week you will have her in your arms. Can't wait to hear your birth story.. I can't believe your still working. I can just about get up. Lol🤦🏽‍♀️ but it's good your very active

OP posts:
burtle4 · 08/12/2021 18:42

@cutejeans it can be a sign but in my experience it's more that bowel movements just become looser and more frequent rather than an actual stomach upset. But who knows, everyone's different and it could be your body's way of clearing out and getting ready!
I've been having a bit of weird discharge today (sorry if tmi!) I don't think it's my plug as it isn't jelly like or stringy but there's just a stain of colour on the liner, started off like a very faint tan colour and seems a bit more pink tonight. Not sure what to make of it so might see if I get any more and contact the midwife tomorrow if there is. I don't remember losing my plug before so not sure what to expect! Anyone got any ideas? Could it be irritation from the sweep on Monday but just very delayed?!

jadey1991 · 08/12/2021 19:31

@burtle4 it's funny you say that because I'm ha img the same thing. Quite abit if discharge with a orange/pinkish look to it. To be honest I don't remember losing my mucus plug in any or my pregnancies but I do remember having a show with my youngest. But this looks different.

OP posts:
burtle4 · 08/12/2021 19:35

@jadey1991 weird! That sounds exactly like what I'm having... At least if we're both getting it it must just be a normal end of pregnancy thing. Just really don't think it's my plug as definitely not stringy or jelly like 🤷‍♀️

tuxedocat · 08/12/2021 19:38

@jadey1991 yes good news but terrifying! feels very surreal and after hearing a few women moaning in pain in the assessment clinic I feel abit scared now 😂

I’ve had some weird discharge but mines been more watery and lots of it. I don’t remember losing my plug last time but I know some people don’t spot it and it can be different for everyone. Pregnancy is a ride isn’t it!
