@Curlymam88 aww what lovely words hun. Yes we are super awesome. I think hubby has realised the struggle we go through too. Bless the ladies on the ward with you. Sounds like they are having a rough time.

@jadey1991 I know I worked my dates out to be Xmas day but then the scans showed 22nd Dec but she be here tomorrow at 37+2 early December. I will put up some photos when I'm able to.
I hope yours is straightforward and all goes well so you're out in 6 hours. That sounds pretty good. Im aiming to be out the next day. They need to make sure mine and babys sugars are stable before we leave and shes feeding and breathing tidy. Im hoping Sunday the latest anyway.
I think my partner has realised the same. Its his first baby so never experienced it all before. I think he's realised its not all straight forward get pregnant and give birth. There's alot more to it. Lol.

@Curlymam88 thanks darling. At least you have an early dec baby. I was hoping I was going to but by the looks of it, it doesn't look like it. Aww so your partner must be super excited lol. Bless him. I do hope everything goes well for you tomorrow..

Awwwww that’s such a loving thing to say & you don’t even know any of us really - especially me I’m in the USA! Seems like your doing an amazing job in there …… I actually would love to have other moms to talk to unless they are not the talkative type? Here in the US we each get a private room/bathroom - of course it’s not free but cause of Covid these days prob a good thing. I’m 36.5 weeks right now with no known issues - my due date is 25th! So you know they won’t let me go till then - after all who wants to work that day! Wishing you a wonderful birthing story! I can hardly wait to see pics - be strong you’ll gonna be amazing mom & I don’t really even know you! 👍🏻❤️

@jadey1991 have the tightenings or contractions eased off now? He is excited we all are biy just doesn't seem real atm until shes out 🤣 thank you. Im sure everything will go ok.
@JW2021 I think because I've just been sat in hospital for 2 days already and seen other mothers struggling with their different things then reading about you all on here and what you're all going through I think its just awesome and when the baby is out safe and well we probably won't even remember or mention any of these struggles again 🤣 I'm sure they won't want you delivering on Xmas day. Do you think they'll induce you? Have they mentioned anything? And thank you very much 😊 ill let you know how I get on.

@Curlymam88 they have eased slightly. I get them more at nighttime's.

Nope no one has mentioned induction -yet……but I’m not holding my breathe ….as I mention in a previous post my OB measured me with a tape & said I’m 39 weeks! Really 🤷🏼 So I go for another ‘free’ growth scan next week - I guess at that point I’ll be almost 38 wks - I wonder what the story will be then - so far no aches or twinges just pee a lot & my belly gets super hard at times - so fingers crossed !

Hi ladies aw wow soo excited for you @ curlymam I hope you have a lovely labour with your little girl ❤ takes me back to my 1st all the unknowns,excitement and becoming a mummy! It is an amazing experience that keeps on giving!
my antibiotics have kicked in now and I'm feeling a bit more with it than I have been... but emotionally and physically I'm so drained! I had consultant call the other day and I'm apparently booked for induction on my due date 17th but my god did I have to push and keep pushing for it.....only 2 weeks to go! less for some of you! 😊 x

@jadey1991 same here. I get so uncomfortable during the evening. Her head is right down too but her body keeps rolling from left to right when we were trying to get her heart on the monitor this morning.
@JW2021 im constantly weeing too, I have to sneak past all the sleeping ladies every hour or so for a wee. Like mission impossible with a drip being pulled along.
I wonder if they're suggesting baby is big so have an induction and be home in time for Xmas. That would be nice

@lovebeingmum9 I have a daughter already but not with my current partner so it'll be really special for him tomorrow. Cant wait to see him become a dad.
Glad your antibiotics have kicked in, I thought you were going to be induced earlier or was it a section because of the shoulder dystocia in your previous pregancy?

Ah sorry @curlymam my pregnancy brain...I forget who said what! lol aw well goes the same for 1st time dad's 😊 will be special for you all including your 1st daughter.....bet they will have a lovely sister bond!
No I wasn't lined up for c section but induction on due date.....because I'm measuring normal on 50th centile they would be quite happy to let me go overdue....but my 4th was measuring the same and born day after induction at 9lb so the measurements have always been off for me anyway x

@lovebeingmum9 thats ok. Some days alot gets said on here with everyone. Its hard to remember who says what sometimes.
Oh I see. Ive been wondering how far off my growth scans have been and how much she will actually weigh.

@lovebeingmum9 glad you have good your date now hun. Not long to go now.. I'm still waiting on when little man will make an appearance.. so draining. Glad antibiotics have kicked in now.

@Curlymam88 oh dear. She doesn't want to be touched bless her... what time is tour c-section in the morning? X

@jadey1991 hand over for the nurses is at 8.45 so I think once the whole team is ready I'll be going down. I cant be nil by mouth for too long because of the diabetes so unless there's an emergency first to be seen to then I should be in pretty quick

Sounds like barely anyone on here is going to be left to natural labour, there seem to be a lot of inductions and c-sections booked in so will be interesting to see how many of us actually get to our due dates!
