Update ladies. I am contracting but not dilating yet. They gave me the option to be admitted in hospital or go home so I decided to go home as I am not that far. They told me to come back in the morning to be reassessed. I'm still having contractions now but I just have to wait and see now x

@burtle4 hey, yes an eventful evening. I haven't slept because the contractions are every 10min. I will be going back to triage again today as I cannot take the pain. At the moment I am 3/5 but that was at 21:40 last night when I was at hospital. When I go back I'm hoping baby has come down further. Baby is lying where he need to be. They said if I come back then they will be treating me at if I was 38 weeks pregnant( whatever that's suppose to mean).

I guess they just mean they'll just treat it as if you're full term? Good luck this morning, let us know how it goes!

@jadey1991 yea id assume if they're treating you as 38 weeks be like full term. Maybe they will give you or do something to get you started

Hello - I had a sleepless night just thinking about you - hope everything is going good & steadily progressing in the right direction .so amazing to think in the next few hours baby might be here hang in there girl you got this.

@JW2021 thats a lovely message. Im getting a bit emotional for some reason. Think because we've been on the journey from the start and now things have started to come to an end....or the beginning whichever way you look at it really im going to strip the beds today incase I end up with my c section date when I go over on Tuesday. At least I'll know the beds are clean even if not much else will go to plan while I'm away 🙈🤣

@Curlymam88 it was a lovely message and we will all continue this journey that we started from the beginning. Like I've said in my previous posts I feel like I've made new friends. I got emotional reading that too. Aww bless you I do hope you c-section date is soon x

@jadey1991 oh wow super excited for you! That's progressed so quickly aswell.....hope your labour goes nice and smooth! Can't wait to hear and see your good news! Have you gone into early labour before or is there a reason for it this time.....I've only had 1 of mine come 3 days early and that's because I took the longest walk a few days before lol x

@lovebeingmum9 thank you hun, my eldest came 9 days early and youngest 1 day early. This one here is the earliest. I can't wait for him to come now. I'm so exhausted and excited too

@LouLou0505 I'm a FTM and had this feeling for a few weeks. Was told that baby was 1/5th engaged so it will likely be baby getting comfy in your pelvis.

@Theawkwardblonde if your 1/5 that means baby is fully engaged right?

@jadey1991 no I checked what they meant. Midwife clarified that 4/5ths are free, and that 1/5th of baby's head is in my pelvis. I think it's engaged more now. I'm at midwife on Tuesday so will hopefully find out more then.

@jadey1991 yes I thought she meant that 😂😂 that's why I queried her! Would have been a bit extreme if deeply engaged at 34 weeks!

How exciting @jadey1991 looking forward to hearing any news. I think baby is trying to engage at the min as at times it feels like they are going to fall out and walking becomes a struggle.
I Have to go for another glucose test next week as still big. Estimated 3kg at 36 weeks so will see what comes of that. Really would like baby to arrive before Xmas though.
