@Curlymam88 I've been feeling sick myself today. I'm currently laying in bed. I'm not ill but I'm feeling like I'm going to vomit.

@LouLou0505 aww how lovely. I got my growth scan on Tuesday. My last one. X

@LouLou0505 its terrible. Im trying to get some sleep but can't lie still because of the palpitations. Ive been sick 3 times today. I think I may have the bug my daughter had. Cant tell whats pregnancy related and whats not.
@jadey1991 hope you manage to get some rest.

@Curlymam88 - oh bless you! I’ve not been sick but I just can’t shake the awful feeling. I can be feeling fine one min and then a wave of sickness hits me. Feeling like I have a dizzy head is just as bad it’s horrible

@Curlymam88 I'm the same as you, I cannot rest. I've been tossing and turning for a few hours now. I hope Both of your BP is good. Your BO might be low. Try eat something sweet too as your sugar level might be down. Sorry the nurse work has come out of me. I do miss my job🤦🏽‍♀️

@jadey1991 thabks 😊 my sugars always drop after being sick. Ive managed to keep a piece of toast down at least so thats a start.

@curlymam how funny that we all seem to be feeling the same today! we took a trip out at lunchtime to take kids to pick a new decoration each for our tree and a little McDonald's.....but on the journey there I ended up feeling dizzy,light headed,heavy eyes and ended up being sick in a pain au choc pack bag (all I had to hand) lol 🙈 poor hubby and kids all in the car! Luckily was phlem sorry tmi but not something I wanna repeat! think I'm done with car journeys until hospital trip as I was hunched over and jarred my back and belly in the process.....however we did made it to McDonald's and to the shop for decs but home,bathed and feeling much better now! hope yours has worn off now X

Hey, I managed to get a couple hours of sleep. Sickness feeling has gone but now my belly keeps going hard. Eyes are still feeling slightly heavy. Glad your feeling better now @lovebeingmum9 and @Curlymam88 I hope your feeling better now

Omg ladies I'm freaking out now. So there is a new variant of Covid now. Called omicron. I'm worried we will go back into lockdown again. There has been 2 cases in Essex already. 😢🥺I hope baby comes before lockdown other wise my hubby won't be able to come on.

@lovebeingmum9 aw no, sounds like we've all had a bit of whatever it is today! I'm glad you're feeling a bit better now.
@jadey1991glad you managed to get a bit of sleep. Ive been drifting off on the sofa but restless legs are a nuisance and trying to stay awake in the hope I will sleep tonight?! I've not been sick again since this afternoon though.
Have they suggested there might be another lockdown? I've not listened to or read the news. Midwife said you've only got a few weeks to go so fingers crossed you'll be in and out. Maybe have a look on Google on how to get things moving. Lol

@Curlymam88 glad you're feeling better hun. So far face coverings has become mandatory.. I don't know about your area. But if the variant spreads more then there is a possibility that we will go back into lockdown. As of Monday secondary school children have to wear face coming again too. And yeah I might lol

Oh yes I just read. I dont plan on going anywhere now. School and to my hospital appointments thats me done like @lovebeingmum9 said. @jadey1991 try not to worry about the restrictions coming into place until they actually do. At the birthing centre id have thought you would be ok to take your partner in with you as its a private room etc? I'm not sure.

Even during all the other lockdowns birthing partners have been allowed in providing they don’t have COVID. Now we have jabs too I highly doubt they will restrict us in labour. If they didn’t then they won’t now I think at most they might limit visiting but you both are tested when you arrive anyway

@LouLou0505 not every lockdown hun. My neighbour had to give birth on her own. And she was a first time mum. They wouldn't let her husband in

@jadey1991 - positive thoughts!! I do understand the fear though, we are obviously right next to Essex here and have family in the towns where the new cases have been found so it’s a little worrying but now is my excuse to hibernate 😂

Question for everyone… obviously this is my first baby so I don’t know what’s going on really but today is the first time I’ve actually felt bruised in my crotch 😂 I literally feel like someone has kicked me in the bone down there 😂 is this just a feeling of him coming down and getting comfy?

@LouLou0505 yes hun I'm trying.
It could possibly mean he is coming down. I have the same feeling as you to. I've been getting contraction like cramps for the past hour now. I think I might go up to triage and just get checked. Because it's frequent.

@jadey1991 yeah it's another worry isn't it.... just as everyone was starting to relax and look forward to family get togethers and boom a new variant! I think face masks should have remained mandatory but they hadn't in our area....I still wear mine on school run, in shops etc but I've noticed alot don't so I will feel at least a little safer when everyone wears them again. @curlymam thanks hun glad your feeling better too yeah I won't be venturing out now I'm done after today's antics lol x
