Hey ladies, I had my MW appointment. Everything is fine. Baby isn't engaged yet but he is laying right on my pelvic bone. MW said he will be here within the next 2 weeks. How exciting. Heartbeat is 145bpm. His head is done in my pelvis. Hope all is well

@jadey1991 ah so exciting!! I'm glad everything is well. 2 weeks will go quick.
I had a terrible night last night, didn't get to sleep till gone 4am, bloody restless legs, on the toilet all the time and uncomfortable. Woke up with my daughters cold then this morning.

Great news @jadey1991 my little guy had about the same heart rate and his head is down at my pelvis too. My appointment was yesterday morning. I've still got to go to the maternity hospital for a scan next week to check the amniotic fluid and then do the GTT test on Thursday but I'm hoping it's resolved itself 🤞 the midwife yesterday said I'm measuring bang on and she could feel him easily so would be surprised if there was a lot of fluid in there still!

I'm hoping to go into labour at exactly 38 weeks but it's wishful thinking 😅 that would be 16th December if it did happen. Happened for my mum twice!

@jadey1991 very exiting that they should be here in the next 2 weeks!

I'm very stressed today, I've had on and off period type pains around lower stomach/hips. Slightly more uncomfortable than BH, but painful enough that they're disturbing me working. Feel like a wuss but I'm wondering if this is early labour signs or just different BH? I know little one is 1/5th engaged (MW told me at 34 week app). I'm only 35 weeks but it's got me thinking. Definitely a panicked FTM here 🤣

@Curlymam88 aww you was like me hun. I didn't go sleep till 3:30am this morning. Spoke to my midwife about it too but unfortunately is all sort of pregnancy. Yes I hold the 2 weeks will go quick. Oh no, what a shame, I boss the cold goes with for you. I usually drink fresh honey and lemon and boil up some garlic, lemon, ginger and then add the honey.

@2020mission aww how sweet, we are the same. I have a growth scan myself on Tuesday. I think once I've had that then I'll know for sure when baby is coming. My eldest daughter predicted 4th December. Midwife said of baby comes anytime after 36 weeks then I have nothing to worry about. So that made me happy. I actually predicted girls fired date and they came on that day i said which of funny lol

@Theawkwardblonde aww hun I can only imagine how you been feeling. Why don't you take your self down to triage if you are worried. Could be a possibility that he is further down now. Have you had any other symptoms?

@jadey1991 just got out of pregnancy assessment unit. Along with my BH, baby was going mental for 3 hours solid. Overly active and totally not their normal routine. I rang the hospital and they said to come in. They said baby was very far down in my pelvis, but nothing was wrong with baby/me. It just seems it's having a very hyper day for some reason! Literally had two feet protruding from my stomach for hours!

@Theawkwardblonde aww that's great news hun I'm so happy. So what are they saying? Are u dilating or anything? Has baby gone further down? X

@jadey1991 no not alot they can do about it all. Just keep thinking it'll be over soon.
@Theawkwardblonde glad everything is fine with you and baby, always best to get checked out.
We put our Xmas tree up today, put Xmas songs on and just watched Elf the Xmas film. We are all getting excited now 😊

@Curlymam88 yeah same here but it does get to much. I'm about to run myself a warm bath and see if that helps. MW said I should drink plenty of water but I do. At least 2L a day. Still hasn't helped🤦🏽‍♀️

Not sleeping has turned me to baby shopping and trying to find a Christmas outfit for him 🎄

I was also thinking about how many conversations are we all going to have at this time of night within the next month whilst doing night feeds 😂 it’s crazy to think about!!

The whole house is awake here, this storm has woken everyone up and I'm worried the TV aerial is about to come off the side of the house, all I can hear is it squeaking backwards and forwards! Bins and chairs are flying around the garden 🤦‍♀️
This is definitely the start of things to come in terms of being up at all hours of the morning though, I can feel him kicking away and thinking it won't be long before I'm having to do a bit more than just lie here wishing I could be asleep!

I'm the same! I don't think I've slept all night between insomnia, restless legs and I can hear the wind howling. It sounds really bad. I hope your aerial manages to hold on!!!

Hey ladies, I managed to settle at 4am.. now I'm awake again. Woke up with pain. Yes defo going to be having convos in the early hours lol. It's been raining really heavy over here. Not so much windy yet. I thought we was suppose to have snow.

Morning ladies 😊 ive been up since 5am probably only had 3hrs sleep last night....just an overactive brain stressing about christmas and trying to balance the presents out! @Curlymam my sons 2nd birthday is 4th Dec.....aw glad all was OK always best to get checked. we put our tree up last night and hubby did outside lights so today we will finish it all off 'its starting to look alot like Christmas!' 😁🎄

I'ts so frustrating! I've been awake all night. Ill deffo be trying to take a nap later. I heard about snow, we've not had much rain here and no signs of snow but the wind is really bad. But checking the garden everything seems to still be in its place.

Miraculously looked out the window this morning and everything is still where it should be - although may need to get an aerial repair man out to fix it a bit tighter to the wall!
Can't believe I'm 37 weeks today, that means baby is fully cooked and now will just put on weight (not that he needs to at 8lbs already 🙈) There was actually a time when I never thought I'd get here so feeling very grateful.

@burtle4 aww time has gone so quick hasn't it. I'm 36 weeks today and MW told me I could have baby any day now. She think by next week. But we will see. I can't wait now. I'm so impatient

Oh my gosh what a morning, I've had sickness, headache, palpitations, and dizziness. Feeling so rough. What is going on!!

@Curlymam88 - oh my god you’ve just written exactly what I’ve got now!! In the last few days my sickness has come back, I’m so dizzy and my heart palpitations are awful!! What the hell is going on?!

We’ve just had our grown and position scan, so we’re 36+2 measuring 6lbs 10!! His head is still measuring big 😂 but he’s apparently head down again so that’s good!
