@LouLou0505 yes it's not nice. But last night was ok I didn't suffer from it so that's a good thing.

@xTinkerbell hello hun, glad all is well with you. Aww that's so nice, at least I have your induction date. How close is that to your sons bday. At least you know that you are going have baby before Xmas. Hopefully your out for Xmas.

jadey1991 · 23/11/2021 08:45

@lovebeingmum9 wow I can't believe how big baby is already. Your baby is bigger then what my eldest was at birth. She was 6lb1oz.. how lovely. I really can't wait to see everyone's baby's now. That is a really good weight at birth anyway (7lb). What an exciting time for you.

@xTinkerbell was suppose to say something about your bump. Looks so cute. I think you might be having a boy. Just by your bump but I could be wrong.

OP posts:
jadey1991 · 23/11/2021 08:47

@burtle4 aww look at your bump. Looks so neat. Just like everyone else's. Mine has dropped so much. He is all at the front now.

xTinkerbell · 23/11/2021 08:55

@jadey1991 my bump is quite similar to last time just a bit smaller so I’m thinking boy too. Section date is literally the day after my sons birthday but I’m alright with that. Just didn’t want the same dsy

jadey1991 · 23/11/2021 08:58

@xTinkerbell aww bless, can't wait to see pics of baby. Have you had any signs? I have. I've got to speak with my midwife today and see what she says

DecadeBCU · 23/11/2021 12:45

This is my bump when I was 34 weeks, I’m now 35+3 and it looks the same I think. Don't think I’ve dropped just yet.
Baby is very active and rolling around all over in there which is uncomfortable at times. The pressure down below is starting and I need to pee all the time.
Embarrassing I know, but I also have been suffering with piles which are now quite painful the more pressure I’m getting, tried to speak to gp today but they are full but if anyone has any good remedies I’m all ears!! Blush

tuxedocat · 23/11/2021 12:51

Hi everyone
I’ve been MIA as things went a bit hectic. I’ve been having weekly bloods to keep an eye on my bile acid levels as well as working and everything in between and I still haven’t stopped! I got sent again for an urgent growth scan this morning as baby girl dropped last week (apparently I’m 1/5 and she’s deeply in my pelvis) so my measurements dropped to 33cm at almost 36wks. Scan shows she’s all good, her thigh bone is 7cm, we saw her eyes looking around and her head is so far down in my pelvis that they can’t measure her head. She’s approx 5lb 11oz which feels huge!

Some of her movements hurt so much - I’ve been having constant braxton hicks and quite a bit of discharge over the last week so not sure if it’s my mucas plug or not. I will see the MW just before I’m 38wks and she’s going to see about possibly giving me a stretch and sweep as I believe I’ll be induced between 38/39wks but not sure. So I don’t have a birth plan in place, a plan for my son or the beside crib up so I better get to work!

Hope everyone’s alright, I can’t believe how close we are

jadey1991 · 23/11/2021 14:13

@DecadeBCU what a as lovely bump. Sorry to hear you are suffering from piles. I'll tell you one good remedy.. a warm bath and pelvic floor exercises. I was told this by my MW as a precaution.

@tuxedocat hey hun, glad all is well. Aww, good they say work are engaged then. And dilating?
On Sunday I had a a lil show, I've dropped so much.pretty sure he is partially engaged as I feel so much. I get a lot of pain in my back( at the top and lower back) I have MW appointment on Friday so I'll have to wait as she can't see me till then. Glad add everything went well at your scan. So happy for you

tuxedocat · 23/11/2021 14:58

@jadey1991 sounds like it for you, I felt her drop and now everything feels abit different!
I’ve been getting a lot of rib pain which I think is where her feet are. She’s running out of room!

jadey1991 · 23/11/2021 15:01

@tuxedocat yes it sure does but we will see. Yeah I get that too. Legs in rib so painful

JW2021 · 23/11/2021 15:12

So……… hello USA calling……
birth plan? ……not sure what that is in the UK - it must be called something different here in the USA 🤷🏼

jadey1991 · 23/11/2021 15:25

@JW2021 we get a birth plan to. We just go through questions like who is birthing partner, how do you wanna give birth I.e hospital, birthing centre, at home etc. Then they talk about what meds you require i.e gas and air, epidural, etc etc.

OP posts:
tuxedocat · 23/11/2021 16:05

A birth plan is just an idea of what meds you are happy to have, who you want with you, your wishes for birth. It doesn’t mean you’ll get them but the midwives have an idea of what you like when you’re in labour eg low lights no talking or epidural etc.

Things can obviously change but some people like to have an idea of their wishes on paper/with birth partner so they can communicate on their behalf

JW2021 · 23/11/2021 16:36

Thank you! Ok all very similar here then just don’t have a title to it! I have signed up for all & every type of pain relief they offer! Then cause of COVID one birth partner hubby & my mom! We all have private rooms in the USA so that’s prob why I’m guessing. Also has anyone heard of using a baby snuggle nest for our new borns ?

JW2021 · 23/11/2021 16:38

Baby snuggle

Anyone due later dec (thread 3)
jadey1991 · 23/11/2021 17:40

@JW2021 oh yes we don't get private rooms u less we pay for them privately. We can only have 1 birth partner ( because of Covid).. I've not heard of baby snuggle.

xTinkerbell · 23/11/2021 18:03

@jadey1991 no signs yet! Hope you got on okay at midwife today

xTinkerbell · 23/11/2021 18:05

Sorry just read through and saw it wasn’t today

jadey1991 · 23/11/2021 18:16

@xTinkerbell that's fine lol. I'm still waiting for mine. I spoke with my friend who had her baby 12 days ago. She said she was 1cm dilated( with same symptoms as me with the show) but she ended up getting induced because she stayed at 1cm dilated. So I'm wondering what is going on with me.

lovebeingmum9 · 23/11/2021 18:43

Hi @jadey1991 yeah it's a good weight....our smallest was 8lb 3oz and she looked Diddy to me lol just got used to bigger, chunkier babies but 7lb would be a lovely weight I just can't imagine it! when I went for scan at weekend there was a lady pushing a newborn in a pram who must have been around 6lb mark and was perfect & petite and I said to my hubby....its mad to think that's what our baby is prob like in my belly! It sounds like your body is about ready to go into labour now with all your symptoms and show etc....I feel ready to pop now,my sleep is terrible, lower backache,4 children to get prepared for school run, aswell as the many school christmas activities to remember and prepare for (nativities, discos, trips, jumper day etc) got our youngest turning 2 in 11 days time and still got christmas to finish off/wrapping,decs etc all the way up until my due date now so very little rest what so ever 😅 almost running on empty!

LouLou0505 · 23/11/2021 19:26

Everyone talking about having to look after their children as well as be pregnant makes me feel so bad for moaning 😂

I’ve was cramping all morning and had braxton hicks that lasted a lot longer then they had been. But think I’m all good.

Just been for my massage and I never wanted it to end 😂 but I don’t think my partner will carry it on 😂 I’m now sitting on my drive still in my car with the heated seats on because it just feels so good on my lower back 😂

jadey1991 · 23/11/2021 19:46

@lovebeingmum9 aww bless, my youngest was 7lb6oz and looked small and chubby lol. Yes I'm ready now. I'm just waiting and waiting now. Hoping it will be anytime soon. I'm like you I'm not sleeping much at night. About 2 hours sleep . I sleep better in the day time then night. I struggle. Back pain, heartburn and restless legs ain't a good combinations
