I found the old thread wasn't notifying me of new posts anymore.

pregnancydiaries · 04/11/2021 17:11

@CurryandSnuggle posting here but not sure if other thread closed yet! I’m the exact same thinking of buying mat clothes and I’m not even 8 weeks yet! I just feel like anything touching my tummy is so sensitive and feeling so crappy I just Want baggy comfy clothes!xx

CurryandSnuggle · 04/11/2021 17:14

@pregnancydiaries I’m going to take the plunge and order some. Will post up how baggy they are when they arrive lol.

pregnancydiaries · 04/11/2021 17:16

I have already tried ASOS maternity leggings and OMG don’t do it, they are even tighter than my ordinary ones....!!! Let us know how you get on @CurryandSnuggle

Clomid1 · 04/11/2021 17:26

Another thread. The May 2022 one is still on thread 1. 😂

Roxystar23 · 04/11/2021 17:26

@CurryandSnuggle - I’ve just rolled down my jogging bottoms a little and the pains have stopped. I’m wondering now if perhaps they were a little tight. Blush I haven’t been on the treadmill for just over a week but I can’t imagine I’ve gotten bigger just from that slight relapse! Yay for bloating! Grin

Looking forward to your review of the mat clothing!!

MrsNT · 04/11/2021 17:37

Has anyone started following any youtube pilate or yoga videos for pregnancy?

MrsNT · 04/11/2021 17:38

@pregnancydiaries primark started maternity clothes. Had a look the other day ..didnt really like what they had though

Wellthiswasunexpected · 04/11/2021 17:43

Thread three! 😂 Yaaaas

RoseValleyRambles · 04/11/2021 17:48

It's all about jumper dresses for me for the next few months. Hush have done really nice snugly ones. And long tops/waistband extenders.

Prema112 · 04/11/2021 17:58

Thread 3 already!! Where are we gonna be at 40 weeks??

Clomid1 · 04/11/2021 18:23

@MrsNT I wanna join one but unsure as I wasn’t exactly fit before the pregnancy

pregnancydiaries · 04/11/2021 18:36

@MrsNT I’ve looked into a local one but it won’t let me join until I’m 12 weeks. Would also be keen if any online classes

MrsNT · 04/11/2021 18:43

@clomid1 i havent been to gym for 3 yrs 🤣but dont want to turn into couch potato . Ill see if i can find some easy antenatal youtube ones for beginners like me who havent done anything apart from dancing at my wedding 🤣

PeeAche · 04/11/2021 19:04

Thread three! Well blow me down.

Lol. Jk. A wind tunnel couldn't blow me down after the amount of Yorkshire pudding I've just eaten.

Btw @CurryandSnuggle my yorkie recipe is very similar to the one you just posted (I guess most recipes are the same) but try using lard instead of oil in your trays. 🤤

Um, sorry for how much I'm talking about Yorkshire puddings at the moment.

Isn't it amazing to be here on thread 3 talking about maternity clothes and booking appointments? ☺️ We've already come so far since thread 1 and the Clear Blue Digitals...

Brightsmoke · 04/11/2021 19:08

I've got some maternity leggings from Lidl. Haven't tried them yet but they seem ok. Will put them on tomorrow and see. Otherwise I'm at work in my uniform, undone trousers and untucked top 😂.

I'm meant to be running this half marathon this weekend, but I'm so tired/nauseous I haven't been able to run. I think I'll be the last one to finish 😳

PeeAche · 04/11/2021 19:16

Running a bloody half marathon?

Jesus Christ, @Brightsmoke You're making me tired just reading that.

Pass the Yorkshire puddings.

HopefulJ2018 · 04/11/2021 19:31

Hi all Smile

pregnancydiaries · 04/11/2021 19:31

@PeeAche absolutely love that comment about how far we’ve come from the clear blue digitals. I honestly thought I’d be peeing on a stick my whole first trimester 😂

@Brightsmoke OMG!!! I haven’t left my bed in over a week....big round of applause for even considering running!

TTCjourney2021 · 04/11/2021 19:56

Just joining the convo for thread 3 👋

Seabreeze2 · 04/11/2021 20:05

Hi ladies, joining onto thread 3 with you all 😃❤️

Where are you thinking of buying maternity clothes? I’ve had a brief look online. I think I’ll be living in leggings/tights and jumper dresses.

I honestly have barely left the house since BFP 😂 just as I was beginning to ‘enjoy’ the gym for the first time in my life lol. I wanted to make sure I’m resting and not straining anything (on top of feeling nauseous I don’t feel like working out anyway!). I will try and be more active in the next couple of weeks though 😃

@brightsmoke ooh i saw the lidl leggings but some idiots had taken them all out of packaging and only empty packaging left 😒

For anyome else looking for maternity leggings...ive heard h&m do good ones. And i was looking at h&m maternity clothes online in sale..good variety and decent prices. Might just buy those
