You girls are the sweetest i am honestly so grateful. My blood test results came back fine and hcg was at the level they'd expect it to be at. No infections or anything they are concerned about. I have a ultrasound scan tomorrow at 10am to check further but i feel more positive knowing my hcg levels are still high. Praying for a miracle xx

Hi everyone! Hoping I can join this thread please? Just caught up on everything and @Celina94 that must be a big relief, good luck with tomorrow I’ll be thinking of you! I wish we could skip ahead to 12 weeks just to know everything is okay!!

I got my BFP on Sunday at 14dpo and it was pretty strong! Was so nice to see after trying for just over a year.
I think I’m 5 weeks tomorrow so will be due on around 20th May 2022 . So far I haven’t had many symptoms, just really sore boobs and needing to wee all the time. This will be my first baby, when does the nausea usually kick in?

@Celina94 that sounds positive. Hope it means you can get a decent night's sleep before your scan tomorrow.

I'm quite proud of myself - just managed a whole day at work in London and dinner with a friend in the evening. Think I'm going to have to go straight to bed when I get home though!

I finally called the hospital today and was told that my initial MW appointment had been booked for September 29th so quite happy to finally have a date!

On another topic, we told my parents yesterday and they’re very excited about it. I was trying not to project too much until my first scan on Sunday (at 7+4) but they can’t help it, they were already talking about names! They got me very hopeful, I will be devastated if something is wrong at the scan. It feels very real now!

@SerendipitySunshine & @aNewYorkerInLondon - I posted over a week ago about nausea and you both kindly offered advice which I didn't acknowledge, my apologies, I've only just checked the thread again. Thanks for the tips.

I hit a particular low point this week when I sat working on the landing all day so I could be closer to the bathroom thankfully I'm WFH and no signs of going back to the office yet

I was also really sad that both my DCs have seen me vomiting so much, and my eldest in particular seems concerned that I'm so sick. 3 times we tried to leave the house on Tuesday to get to daycare and school and we had to rush back inside so I could be sick. One more week till my midwife appointment, just trying to focus on that for now.

@Mmay Hi! welcome to the thread! I am due 21st/22nd and have same symptoms as you - tender boobs and weeing a lot, didn't expect the weeing so soon really! No nausea yet, just a bit tired also and struggling to concentrate. We were trying for over 2 years and I had booked first IVF appointment 5 days before I found out I was pregnant...! So I know the relief you feel. I'm feeling very anxious too but just hoping my little bean sticks and that all is well. Congratulations xx

Why do I do this to myself? I'm now reading up on blighted ovums and scaring myself that I'll get to my early scan and it all have been for nothing. Anxiety is such a nightmare, I hate it! Even if that is the case, getting an earlier scan won't change anything. I just see people getting scans between 6-7 weeks and am kicking myself I said to wait to 8+3 but I know it won't make any difference and if all is well (as I should be telling myself it will be!) then it will be better waiting a little longer.

This limbo is nightmarish! Just trying to ignore it all and count down the days to my early scan. 2 weeks to go 😅

I’m feeling the same @Positive21. My scan is tomorrow and feeling really nervous. I would rather know sooner than later if something isn’t right but I’m so worried there will be nothing there tomorrow. I know it’s hard waiting but at least with your scan at 8 weeks you should be able to see a lot compared to a couple of weeks previously. In my first pregnancy I had one at 7 weeks and saw a fuzzy blob with a heartbeat, and had another one a week and a half later (was stressed as symptoms stopped) and saw a proper little baby.

@RosettaTheGardenFairy sorry you are suffering too. Have you told your children you are pregnant out of interest? I haven’t yet I want to wait until at least the 12 week scan and mine have definitely noticed I’m being sick and keep asking if I’m ok.

So happy girls - ive cried and cried and cried! Your prayers and well wishes and hopes heard and baby is there with a healthy heartbeat. They measured me 6 weeks 4 days. Couldn't be happier. Thank you so much for the support on here I'm so happy I can stay in this lovely community. I guess I am one of those ladies who bleed heavy and bright red in early pregnancy and everything is ok! Just like @ninadust ! Thank you so much again hope your days go well. And you were right about the amazing feeling @maymum94 seeing your baby and it's heartbeat for the first time! Truly amazing.
