Morning ladies,
Gosh lots been going on sorry I was off the radar yesterday.
@Sarah239 I am feeling nervous re Covid but I do t want to over panic. I think I will just be more and more careful as the pregnancy progresses and will probably go back to wearing a mask etc. I am back at work but using my own mug/ cutlery etc which I have been doing anyway :) I have been doing exactly the same with my hand on tummy willing little one to stick - you are totally right that getting attached won’t affect the outcome I think it’s so hard not to. The waiting is the worst isn’t it. I must say I found out Sunday the 4th and the first week was the slowest week of my life. Second week is going a little faster :)
@aNewYorkerInLondon how are you feeling now? It’s so nerve wracking when symptoms come and go isn’t it? I think it’s really normal though hope you are okay.
@Luawei eek congratulations on your 3+ it’s so reassuring isn’t it! I know what you mean about nhs vs actual time scales so confusing I am just going to go by nhs until I’m far along enough for them to date me otherwise :)
@maymum94 it really is amazing! I can’t wait even if its 10 mins :) so sorry to hear you are still feeling so sick
@Positive21 oh gosh those opks I hope to not have to use them again for a long time lol! Eek so exciting that you are 6+ weeks now so happy for you :) I keep rubbing my belly too then remembering it’s food I’m rubbing as my little bean is so tiny lol! It feels reassuring none the less :) so sweet about the baby grows :) I done believe in it being bad luck. I don’t think anything we do in terms of being hopeful and positive has a bad impact so that’s lovely you are both so excited :) that is so lovely that you will have a photo when you tell your nephew :) so exciting that all your nhs appointments are being booked in :)
@EJLM I have had my 2 jabs pre pregnancy however if I hadn’t I would have most likely had them as I think that’s what the guidelines are. Most importantly though it’s your choice :) I’m sure the midwife will talk you through it all :) Sorry to hear you have been feeling so nauseous. How is your little one doing with the chicken pox?
@haz452 glad to hear- not obviously that you had the symptoms but that they have reassured you :)
@EmilyMay89 so exciting that you have your scan through :) eeek :)
@LemonSwan that’s so exciting that you are further forwards. Congratulations:) you are welcome to stay but also totally get finding another group. So happy for you and wishing you the best of luck :)
@Agnitio the tiredness just seems to be getting more doesn’t it. Really sorry to hear you are feeling so much worry I feel anxious too. Tjay must have been really difficult reading through all of that at work. I think that’s a good idea if the scan will reassure you. We have ours booked sat at 6 weeks as I just want to know it isn’t ectopic and I lm hoping them I will feel reassured :)
@Elsie2021 welcome :) congratulations! There is quite a spread of dates in here :) I am so sorry to hear about your previous miscarriage and really hoping for a sticky little bean for you :)
@itssquidstella congratulations and welcome. I am so sorry to hear about your miscarriages. Really hoping for a sticky little bean for you. :)
@stephlouwaz sorry to hear about your bleed must have been worrying. So glad to hear you are okay though and so lovely that you got to see little one and heartbeat. How far along are you? I am fascinated that little beans so tiny have a heartbeat :)
@Skl2021 sorry that you have had the stress of a bleed to but so pleased all is okay and you got to see baby and heartbeat :) how far along are you :)? X
@Marden11302
congratulations and welcome
@StinWom it’s hard to explain to partners isn’t it about the nerves and waiting. Reallly hoping your scan goes well Sunday :)
@Aquarius1987 it can take a while for an appointment depending on which nhs trust I think
@Celina94 sorry to hear about the stress of dropping the plate I think baby will not be effected at all by this but can appreciate the worry- hope you are okay
@AllyCat31 so sorry to hear your skin has been so sore I hope it feels better soon. Exiting about booking in your scan :)
@wellitywell sorry to hear you have been feeling so nauseous
@msunflower I know exactly what you mean about wanting gravy on every meal lol!
@Jojo7979 I chased my midwife team yesterday and they said they don’t look at the forms until 6+ weeks and then can take 7-14 days to get a call so I think it can depend on nhs trust how long it takes. The wait feels so long doesn’t it x
@ninadust I think stick as close to true as possible and say you are feeling tired and rundown. I had Covid at the start of august and I have just been saying I’m still really tired after that (which I think is partially true) :) sorry you are feeling so nauseous
@florencebunny welcome and congratulations. I am so sorry to hear you have been through such a difficult time with the ectopic pregnancy. Really hoping for a sticky little bean for you
@ttcally19 welcome and congratulations. Really sorry to hear about your previous miscarriages. Really hoping for a sticky little bean for you
@Expecttheunexpected2022 I am so sorry to hear you are feeling so sick. It sounds like your manager has been really understanding. I know it’s hard but try not to worry. Keeping my fingers crossed for you x
