Here's the link @AllyCat31 - although looking at trustpilot reviews I don't think they're very accurate x

Oh thanks @ninadust maybe there’s enough dna at 7 weeks for the sex of the baby but not enough until 11 for the other parts of the harmony test - that’s the only way I can think this works at 7

ninadust · 06/09/2021 15:23

@AllyCat31 I haven't heard of the harmony test, definitely looking into this! Thanks.

Positive21 · 06/09/2021 15:29

@EmilyMay89 we have started to put a little extra into our joint account for big baby things. Anything we don't need but that I want I'll buy out of my own money (specifically extra clothes 😅)

We are not planning on finding out the gender 🥰

AllyCat31 · 06/09/2021 15:37

It tests for all the genetic syndromes, which is what they usually look for on a 20 week scan. Means you don’t get any nasty surprises @ninadust

Hope91 · 06/09/2021 16:43

Hi ladies would love to join if that’s okay? I am 11 dpo and have just got a faint bfp. All being well due 15/05/22. Have only told my husband so it feels crazy even writing this but would be lovely to have others to talk to. I have only just found this thread so haven’t had chance to read through it all get. This is cycle 12 for us so I am massively surprised to see the 2nd line. Love to everyone xx

LemonSwan · 06/09/2021 18:19

Hi everyone,

Found out a few days back. Not sure of the due date exactly as we were unplanned but looking like a May baby.

MummaRainbowbaby2 · 06/09/2021 18:31

@ninadust I keep getting those too they seem to have good reviews but most wait until their 20 week scan to confirm they were right or not so I don't know if its worth it or not are you thinking of doing it?

MyNameIsInUse · 06/09/2021 18:35

@Positive21 I might get the clearblue weeks tests. Last time I checked they were on offer on Amazon. I'm just waiting for the nausea and bloating to hit me so I know it's going in the right direction!

Not sure how I'll hide it at work this time as last time I got lucky (or maybe unlucky) and was super sick on holiday Hmm during week 5-7

mrsmop21 · 06/09/2021 18:41

Do people think this looks too light for 14dpo?

Due May 22
ninadust · 06/09/2021 18:42

@Positive21 it is super tempting as I would love to know. But I think I'll just wait until 20 weeks so I know it's more accurate!

MyNameIsInUse · 06/09/2021 19:16

@mrsmop21 this was mine last time 14DPO and 21 DPO. It took a whole week for the lines to show up

mrsmop21 · 06/09/2021 19:30

@MyNameIsInUse thanks just getting super stressed at my very faint positives, with my first baby my lines were super dark from 10dpo!

SherbertLemons · 06/09/2021 19:34

Hi everyone!
I only found out I'm expecting today. I'm
(tentatively) really excited and still in shock.
This will be my first child and I think I'm due middle of May. Looking forward to getting to know everyone on our journeys x

MyNameIsInUse · 06/09/2021 19:35

@mrsmop21 is it possible your ovulation was a little bit later this month?

Celina94 · 06/09/2021 19:46

Have been getting quite a few sharp twinges today in my sides and lower belly! 5 weeks + 5. Anyone else getting any twinges? I've read it may be the womb slowly adjusting itself for little one! X

mrsmop21 · 06/09/2021 19:52

@MyNameIsInUse I had my peak on clear blue ovulation test on cd13 , and felt very obvious implantation cramps on 8dpo so my HCG should surely be enough now to make my test lines stronger?

haz452 · 06/09/2021 20:04

@Celina94 I've had quite a few cramps it's been a better the last two days! Am 6 weeks tomorrow xx

Positive21 · 06/09/2021 20:18

@MyNameIsInUse yeah I got them from Amazon on the offer. Not so bad that way! I had cramping and back ache last week but since then I've had nothing! No sickness, sore boobs etc 😅 However I was too tempted today and did a FRER at 20DPO. Dye stealer 🙌🏻

Welcome @SherbertLemons it's my first too ☺️

I'm trying to figure out when to tell family. I feel mean if we tell my side and not his, wanted to wait until we had our early scan but my nephew is back from uni next week. He was my first nephew and is more like a little brother to me so I really would love to tell him in person. Has anyone else told family yet? And most close family or just one or two members?

Due May 22
Agnitio · 06/09/2021 20:33

Hi all,

Tested positive on a clear blue yesterday about 11dpo? Did another early one this morning, strong blue line. My period is due in 2 days and I'm still not convinced this is real. This is my first pregnancy at 32. Been on hormones and copper IUDs since I was 17 and never once had a pregnancy scare so I was convinced it was going to take a while to happen, but this was first attempt and I'm just....shell shocked. I haven't told my husband yet. I'm in denial until my period doesn't come in a few days time. Several times over the last 18 months we had to postpone our wedding and starting a family because of covid so this has broken the long run of bad luck. Posting here for the first time to help me process this!

maymum94 · 06/09/2021 21:33

@Positive21 I've only told my mum waiting until after the scan next week before we tell anyone else

Congratulations everyone Grin

Is their anyone else on here whos a smoker who found out the last few days and was unplanned.

I have been trying various quit methods over the last few days and getting myself in a bit of pickle.

I cant see the smoking clinic until next week.

I rung the stop smoking helpline and they said use patches, but on reading about the patches apparently thats worse because its continous nicotine rather than small batches here and there.

Anyone on this journey figured out how to do this quickly and safely or been able to access professional advice?

TIA

Celina94 · 07/09/2021 10:31

Nausea has really hit full force today. Trying to keep food down is quite the task ... 🤮🤮🤮

Celina94 · 07/09/2021 10:33

@haz452 ah! I'm glad it's gotten better! I think my cramps have subsided today too( at 5 weeks 6 days) seems we are on a similar route haha. But now nausea has just hit me really hard!
