Our other thread about to max out so welcome to thread 3! How is everyone doing?

Does anyone know if their trust are offering antenatal classes yet? I know a lot were online in lockdown and wasn’t sure if any trusts were offering group meetings again?

Have any of you ladies had cravings yet?

I thought they came later, but I was reading they usually start in the first trimester and peak in the second. I’m 16 + 6 and I can’t say I’ve really had them at all. I’ve wanted grilled mushrooms a few times, but just to extent of adding mushrooms to my grocery list and making mushroom pasta one night that week. And I’ve been enjoying dark chocolate more than usual.
I thought this counted as cravings, but they’re not intense at all. My coworkers are telling me stories about eating the same fast food burger every day for weeks, or going through giant bags of sour candy.

@ChaiTRex I'm 16 weeks now and still no cravings. I had countless bags of sour sweets in first trimester to try and stop my HG, but otherwise nothing 🤦🏻‍♀️

@haidri glad to know I’m not the only one! I guess we’re lucky in a way

@ChaiTRex Yes, I started to get bizarre food cravings in the first trimester. it's so funny that you mentioned giant fast food burgers because thay's exactly what I ate every day. Then it was coriander I would go through two bunches a day with lime juice. I even made lime soup with boiled coriander and watercress bunches everyday for month. I didn't want to gain anymore excess weight so had to cut down on the burgers, now I just eat a ton of Saag instead. Can't seem to get enough lime juice.

Mines been curries and anything hot hot! Could drink hot sauce from the bottle lol, It's also been helping with my nausea. My first pregnancy I craved bleached and sponges 🤯 x

Omg my second pregnancy I craved bleach. I would bleach the house continuously @Rmw99 😱

It was Mars bars with my first and icing 😅
Second pregnancy was a bit weirder, I used to chew the washing fresh out of the washing machine, had to be a certain type of detergent & softner too very strange, I was the same with flannels in the bath and near the end i lived off ice cubes, ruined my teeth but I was iron deficient that that was the reason why apparently 😲
This time I'm craving marshmallows, I've got 3 bags in the cupboard calling my name 😂

All the bras came. 6 and none fit. I did find a beautiful one though and have now ordered in 4 different sizes!

Despite the horrific name, Hotmilk seem to make the best mat/nursing bras on the market! Bit more expensive but personally I think it's worth it.

Fingers crossed my next batch will have the perfect size 😀

@feb2022 mine this time is vinegar, anything with vinegar, crisps, chips ect. I love the sourness 😂

Hi all - just a quick one - at 14 weeks I've been feeling even more heavier around the tummy area, get more tired quickly etc so haven't been able to work out as much other than going for walks. Anyone else having this?

@miracle2022 This is kind of how I have been feeling. Also slightly crampy with it, just uncomfortable all round. I’m not sure if perhaps my uterus is moving up and my bump is forming more and it’s all just a whole lot of stretching. Have been tired for a while but it does seem to get worse on days I am feeling the uncomfortable heaviness, also very hungry too. It comes and goes, so it isn’t continuous but can last a whole day or two.

@catinthehat12 glad I'm not the only one. Agree re the cramping too and esp around the side of the tummy / abs area which I didn't have much before really, only ever had the front area which I still get too. I agree, probably due to all the stretching and expanding. I'm also hungry all the time too - have always been hungry throughout tbh but I feel even more so over the past couple of weeks.

Haha second that on the sour sweets!

@ChaiTRex ive had really bad cakes and biscuit cravings, in the morning i have to have something sweet and also fruit i.e kiwis 😂 ive gone off meat and chicken completely!!!

Im 16 weeks today had my private gender scan and its a girl 💗💗💗💗

@Rose212 ah how lovely 🥰 we've booked a private gender scan at 16 weeks too so just a couple more weeks to wait for us!

@miracle2022 Yes exactly on the sides, it’s all new. I occasionally get it directly under my ribs too, I am not sure if indigestion is a factor too? It was so uncomfortable for two days but it really has settled now.

@catinthehat12 agree the uncomfortableness, have to walk quite slowly sometimes and not get up too quickly (I was slowing down before but now even more so). I also get a bit of 'upset' around the tummy / rib area sometimes - not excruciating but enough to go 'oooh ahh', hopefully all just normal and part of the process :)

Had my gender scan today. After 45 minutes of jumping around and shaking my stomach we finally found out we are having a little boy 😍
