@Rmw99 Awh congrats! So lovely!

I’ve certainly been feeling achy, cramps pain. I keep getting worried but its either trapped wind, a number 2 or just stops so must be stretching / round ligament pain.

I have felt a few bubbles, it’s always in the evening when I’m trying to drift off. I did read the baby can hear now and when hubby spoke to my belly last night, I certainly felt bubbles and flutters! I’m 15wks + 3 for reference 🥰

We are also not finding out the gender, and we are so excited to just hear the ‘it’s a…’ after delivery!

feb2022 · 25/08/2021 07:55

@Rmw99 congratulations 💜
Ohhh it's getting exiting! 😊

overtherainbo · 25/08/2021 08:49

@Rmw99 congratulations on your little girly.

I'm so excited to find out now. Ours is Saturday morning 🌈

Rose212 · 25/08/2021 11:11

Guys is it normal to feel dizzy and light headedness at 16 weeks 😪😪

feb2022 · 25/08/2021 11:21

@overtherainbo ohh I can't wait to find out 🥰

feb2022 · 25/08/2021 11:22

@Rose212 I've felt a little like this over the last few days, quite jittery too sort of like when your blood sugar is low if you know what I mean

Rose212 · 25/08/2021 11:26

@feb2022 yes exactly that 🥺

feb2022 · 25/08/2021 11:32

@Rose212 I have a bottle of full fat coke in the fridge and have a glass when I'm feeling like that, it does take it away if that helps

torchh · 25/08/2021 11:45

Who's got bra recommendations?

Just ordered all these. Fingers crossed.

Rmw99 · 25/08/2021 11:48

Thanks girls 🥰

I feel dizzy all the time. Its usually your blood sugar, I feel like I have to eat every 5mins to stop it 😅 x

Sunshine8888 · 25/08/2021 13:42

Sugary coke and sweets help me!

@Rmw99 aww congrats on your little princess! 💕

0Scapes · 25/08/2021 14:59

@feb220222 I’ve got some H&M jeggings and they’re amazing. Their whole Mama range looks really good.

@torchh Let us know how they are! Ive just started getting uncomfortable with my normal ones so need some recommendations! I’ve ordered one off ASOS but I selected the delivery that’ll take ages and I’m wishing I didn’t bother now 😂. Think I’ll also be looking to get nursing ones to get some good use out of them.

We’ve decided to find out the gender and are going to try and wait for the 20 week scan (although I’m 15 weeks today and no appointment through just yet!!) so it’s a struggle! We’re looking at getting a private one between 20-30 weeks as it seems a very long time to have to go without one!

Rose212 · 25/08/2021 15:00

@feb2022 @Rmw99 @Sunshine8888 thank you so much

pusscous · 25/08/2021 19:56

I had the full results through on Monday from the 12 week scans, one week late (it was a one day turn around and they would only tell me one part🙄) my risk of Downs was 1/82 for my age reduced to 1/66 for factors and we've been able to google lots and the only factor effecting it was my weight! The nuchal fold was perfect, as were the betafreehcg and pappa- both bang on the correct range. Phew! A week of worry and stress because of that. I really feel like I can celebrate my baby now and announce the pregnancy 😊

We had a check up with my Obgyn today and saw 'her' again. He is happy that the baby is happy so more luck. Just wish he would print photos each time, it's not done here until the big anomaly scans. He couldn't tell the gender so having to wait a month until the next appoint when I'll be 18 weeks. I'm going to burst! Found out gender at 16 weeks with my youngest. I'm hoping to travel to the UK soon and will do a private gender scan there

overtherainbo · 26/08/2021 10:23

Is anyone else suffering with the worst constipation? I have my 16 week midwife appointment next Thursday and I can't wait to ask for a safe laxative option😵‍💫

Jellybean8 · 26/08/2021 15:38

@overtherainbo yes!!! I've already asked my GP and was advise to use Fybogel. Double checked with the pharmacist when I got it and they said it's the one they recommend too. Really helped me, particularly in the early days when I was feeling really bloated and sluggish.

overtherainbo · 26/08/2021 15:51

@Jellybean8 you're a life saver, thank you. Will double check with the midwife and buy it ASAP. I can't cope with it much longer haha

Jorun · 26/08/2021 16:26

@overtherainbo, I drink prune juice mixed with some sparkling water, it makes it much more palatable. If you're really bunged up, great option is glycerol suppositories, works in 20-30 minutes, but you need to be ok with the bottom administration :D

Jorun · 26/08/2021 16:27

One thing about Fybogel, make sure you have it with plenty of water. Takes 2-3 days to kick in.

overtherainbo · 26/08/2021 16:37

I'm at a point to try anything haha. It's so bad. I drink 2l of water a day if not more so I was hoping it would help and it isn't 😂

Jorun · 26/08/2021 16:52

Glycerol suppositories for fast action. Fybogel, syrup of figs/actual figs, prune juice for longer term maintenance.

torchh · 26/08/2021 16:55

Pineapple juice, stone fruits, prune juice mixed with apple juice.

You don't really want fybrogel without the above. It'll make matters worse

haidri · 26/08/2021 17:24

This is so embarrassing but is there anybody that sneezes and experiences weak bladder at the same time? 😭

miracle2022 · 26/08/2021 17:27

@haidri

Not always but yes I do. Also sneezes together with pain around the stomach sometimes!
WinsAndNeedles · 26/08/2021 18:43

I've been constipated to the point where I was vomiting this week. The GP prescribed me some Laxido yesterday. Hoping for some movement soon.
