Hi girls so I'm 14+6 and I woke up with sharp stabbing pains on my left side. I don't know if it's ligament pains but I've suddenly been holding my stomach while I'm standing up now because it's hurting a nerve in my back.

Have you experienced this?

Skybooks · 18/08/2021 19:01

@peachi82 me too for fb please

torchh · 18/08/2021 19:24
@torchh is this the ‘February 2022 (MN)’ group? I’m in that one :)

Just tried to find a link to share but I don’t think it’s possible. @Peachi82 added me initially.
Yeah that's it!

How do we add people?

Rmw99 · 18/08/2021 19:34

Dropping a comment so I don't lose the thread ☺

glasspaw · 18/08/2021 19:49

@torchh I think only the admin can do it by the looks of things. Hopefully she’ll be online soon to see the requests. May be worth selecting a few other admins to share the requests out?

Rose212 · 18/08/2021 20:06

Fine today x

Peachi82 · 18/08/2021 20:42

I have sent out a few invites but now mumsnet won't let me send any more messages.
I'll try and do the rest tomorrow!

Sorry I'm so absent at the moment, but it's precious family time with my mum!

Rainbowbaby22 · 18/08/2021 20:54

Hi Ladies, I'm totally new here and totallybout of my depth.

Little about me, Im due my first on 25/2/22, this is our 3rd pregnancy in the past year and this is the furthest we have got.

Im so anxious which i know is totally normal but I am worrying constantly since our 12 week scan. I have no reason to. Everything was perfect.

I found the whole booking appt overwhelming. One problem is my BMI is over 30. I thought i had done everything in my power but at the 12 week scan I was told to go onto 5mg of folic, Ive been on 1.5mg of folate/folic for 2 years. The midwife on Monday told me i need 5mg, I called the community midwife this morning who told me not to worry, 5mg is only up to 12 weeks and no point in worrying as nothing can be done. She said im more than likely fine as I have taken folate for so long. But I just cant get my head around this.

Has anyone had this issue and everything been fine?

Hi everyone. Been a bit quiet since DH + DC went away on Thur. DH tested positive for Covid on Saturday so it's been a bit of a nightmare. Everyone down there for tested at the same time and we all negative except for him. DH was supposed to be coming home on Monday but has now had to stay down there for an extra week.

Unfortunately DD has tested positive today too so goodness only knows when they'll actually be back now.

It has worked out quite well though because I was classed as CEV so having them 150 miles away has actually left me a lot safer than having them at home but I hate them being ill and not being able to look after them. I would like some control back!

I've had no follow up at all from my "threatened miscarriage" last week. Not even a call to see if I'm ok. I'm really disappointed and extremely anxious, which I think is being made worse by being on my own. I have text my mw (her preferred method of coms) but it's been 2 days and I've heard nothing back. So I've cried a lot today and baked myself some scones to cheer myself up.

Hope everybody else is feeling a bit more positive than I am right now. Hopefully better days are to come.

WinsAndNeedles · 18/08/2021 21:10

@Peachi82 I've got my 20w scan on 27th too.

@StephanieJ I'll be having the fetal ECG at 21 weeks too. They used to do it at the same time as the 20w anomaly scan but apparently that's changed and they do the fetal medicine part separately now.

Hope2022 · 19/08/2021 08:16

Morning ladies! Glad to see another thread 😊

Could I have the FB link too please??

Those who are asking.. from around 11 weeks my symptoms definitely started easing. By time I went for my 12 week scan I definitely felt less nausea/ tiredness.
I’m 15+1 and the aching in my hips and pelvis is definitely increasing. I’m still quite tired by bed time but I think it’s due to super busy days.
I haven’t had my 20 week scan appt but randomly had consultant appts through for November 🙈🤷‍♀️
My 16 week check up will be when I’m 17 weeks as we are away.. I’ll definitely ask about 20 week scan then if I’ve not heard anything.

overtherainbo · 19/08/2021 09:16

Unfortunately I don't have a Facebook account so will have to stick around here.

Is anyone else having trouble with sore hips? I dread going to bed because of the bruised sensation in them, it's baby no.3 but I doubt that matters😩

feb2022 · 19/08/2021 12:40

@overtherainbo I'm not on Facebook either 😂
I get the sore hips too especially if I do a lot of walking it's supposed to get worse with each pregnancy too 😅

overtherainbo · 19/08/2021 13:04

@feb2022 sometimes I feel like I'm missing out but then think of quiet life😂!

My hips are so so sore, it's like the pressure laying on them, I can't cope. 25 weeks to go😂

ReignsMummyX · 19/08/2021 16:40

Hi all, i got lost after the first thread and have only just come across this one Grin i had my first scan on tuesday and all is well, measured at 12+6 so exactly where i thought i was. Im 100% convinced im having another girl, but we will be over the moon whatever we end up with. Smile

Peachi82 · 19/08/2021 17:50

Hi! Everyone who asked to be added should have a message now. Apart from @LadyBecks22 for some reason it won't let me send a message to you. If you send me a message with your name, I'll add you.

Had another nausea sick day. Meh. So done with this.
But I went into town with my DS this afternoon and we shared a massive icecream :-)

lililou · 19/08/2021 19:39

Is it possible to DM in the app? Could I be added to FB to pls?

Hope2022 · 19/08/2021 20:11

@overtherainbo I’m definitely experiencing hip pain already! Had it really bad with 1st so not looking forward to it starting so early this time! 🙈 Some nights I wake up and my hips are numb from lying on that side!

pusscous · 19/08/2021 20:17

I've had hip pain for a few weeks now. It's worse in my lift hip which is my good one, the other has partially dislocated and I have issues with it. I'm suspected hyper mobile, would have gone for the formal diagnosis but can't have the scans now. My left hip feels like it is going to pop out of joint some days or sometimes it like some hours in each day 😳 I have ligament pain and terrible pain when I tear stomach muscles- I tore them badly two years ago and spent 6 months in physio this time I think I'm going to ask for surgery to fix it permanently.

overtherainbo · 20/08/2021 05:59

@Hope2022 that's exactly how I feel, I change sides all throughout the night because of how sore they are. Last night I gave up and slept on the recliner because I couldn't cope with anymore side sleeping

@pusscous oh god it's a long way to go too isn't it, we are only going to get bigger 😩

glasspaw · 20/08/2021 09:27

Did anyone else’s sickness get way worse after their vaccine. The first one was ok but I had my second vaccine yesterday and I’ve been sick 5 times since! Hard to know if it’s a vaccine thing, a pregnancy thing, or a combination of both 😅

CaramelWaferAndTea · 20/08/2021 14:56

Hi - missed the new thread. I'm glad I'm not the only one having hip pain already. I'm contemplating buying a pregnancy pillow this time - any recommendations?

I've had my NHS and private 12 week scans and both dated me 5 days ahead which is not very plausible - is it possible to ovulate on day 5/6? But the baby's looking very good and based on the NIPT we know it's a girl, which I'm really excited about. Hopefully this means I've had my last ever first trimester (we have a DS, and probably would have rolled the dice once more for a girl). Trying not to look at dresses or feminist babygros...
