kd - im so sorry hun sending you lots of hugs x

merry - my hubby finds it very difficult to show any interest in baby till its born, i think because there not the one thats pregnant they find it hard to get as involved. he did get better oncce he felt her kicking but still thinks we have all the time in the world to get sorted (10 weeks 2 days [aggh] ) and has never actually been known to choose or buy anything for his unborn children unless nagged constantly. he did understand me having an early scan though after seeing what the mc did to me but even then thought i was a bit daft as i had an nhs one 1 1/2 weeks later you have to take everything with a pinch of salt.

KD so sorry to hear about your mc. I had 2 mc before falling pregnant with this baby (30 weeks at the moment.) I know how hard it is but Sweetkitty's stats are very reassuring. And there is a book on miscarriage by Lesley Regan which is very good. (I think some of the other knicker checkers have also found it useful.)

Are you starting to feel any more secure now? (Appreciate is hard though mind - I still don't all the time and am 26+3.) It's nice to get past that first 12 weeks - means miniyou is that bit safer, bless her/him.

When is your next scan?

You deserve this one jules - I think you are due some good luck after everything you've been through.

Wedding plans are fine - I keep forgetting about them cos I'm so focussed on the baby being born in April. Had a dream last night though that wedding was a complete disaster, so I guess my usual amounts of stress and anxiety are starting to reassert themselves!

Hope everyone enjoying their Sunday. Had a 4d scan this morning and it was amazing! Have put a picture on my profile if anyone is interested. Baby is fine, right size etc (26+5 but measuring 27 weeks)....oh yes, and finally found out it is a girl! . Can't believe we have made it this far - definately feels real at last!

Jules, 12 weeks - hooray for you! What a milestone you have now reached! I don't think the worry ever goes, but it is never as bad as the first 12 weeks. And only a couple of days til you are scanned again!

Dondons, lovely about the 4D scan. I am wondering if I will buckle and go for one myself. Although told it looks like a girl at 22 week scan, now my mum has started buying pink and dp keeps saying "lets just hope it IS a girl", I am getting rather paranoid. But then I only have 10 weeks to go, and our money really is better spent elsewhere at the mo.....Ho, hum!

DonDons I love the scan pic. I can get one between 24 & 31 weeks....can't wait!! Such detail in the face....amazing. She's just beautiful.
