hi everyone

hope that you've all had a good christmas and that you are all keeping well.

sorry that I dont post too often but i still try to keep up to date with all the news (have to catch up after i write this- will take ages as I havent been on for a week) so for any new arrivals congrats and for the newbees sorry youve had to join in the first instance but i found this great esp in the early weeks of this pregnacy.
i'm now 25wks and have only just felt confident enough to start buying for this lo but have woken up this morning with a dreadful cold so think this weeks planned shopping will have to be put on hold til later in the week.

good vibes and positive thoughts
and heres to a great 2008

HelenCS · 30/12/2007 13:46

Hiya,
I get my blood test results tomorrow to see if im pregnant again after my miscarriage just over 5 weeks ago.. but on friday like 5 mins before i was due to leave work i fell down then stairs and aswell as getting a huge bruise on my leg i did wack my tummy..
woke up the next morning with really bad cramp and the bleeding has got worse but has slowed down a bit today.. was sick this morning and still feeling generally quite rubbish!
If it turns out i am pg again do you think it would be wise to take a trip to a&e? xxx

TwilightSurfer · 30/12/2007 15:32

Oh Helen how exciting for you. I MCed 09NOV and am now 7+1 (conceived just 17 days after MC.) A&E would be a good idea to rule out things. In the meantime, fingers crossed all is well.

TwilightSurfer · 30/12/2007 15:54

Helen, just read through your posts here. Our stories are quite similar. My MC happened at 9+6. I had started bleeding on 8+3 for no reason. A scan that day showed me my bean and a strong heartbeat BUT it only measured 7+4. Doctor was not alarmed but I knew that shouldn't be right. Had a natural MC at home 10 days later. I really do hope all goes well for you. So far things have been fine for me this time.

duvetheaven · 30/12/2007 16:19

Thanks kd73.
Will keep you posted. Have had some spotting (4 wks) but have read enough on here to know that plenty of successful pregnancies have that too! Anyway , hope to have early scan and keep you posted.
mcs have been at 10 wks (mmc) and 7 wks as I was going on a long flight shortly after this was detected I had an ERPC.

duvetheaven · 30/12/2007 16:21

By the way, all good wishes for the New Year and 2008 to all MN's on this thread!

feedmenow · 30/12/2007 16:28

Evening all!

Have managed to pop in a couple of times over christmas, but have not had time to post.

Cece, I know you are off now but I just wanted to send you and your dp my love, and my sincerest wishes that as the new year comes in you are both blessed for 2008. xxx

Bouncing, hooray for you and MrBouncing and BabyBouncing (or Bouncing baby!). Another inspirational story for us all here on this thread!

Anyone know if MrsMc was expecting to be offline for a while? Unlike her to be AWOL isn't it? I wonder if she has had a slightly belated christmas present ?

Think I might go off and cut and paste our stats so that we can get a clear update on whats what!

Helen and Duvet, welcome to you both. I so hope things go your way this time. xx

Jules, great news!Your posts always seem so bittersweet, with hope for this LO and sadness for your little boy. I find it so strange to think that none of us would be carrying these LO's if we hadn't suffered a loss

feedmenow · 30/12/2007 16:33

This is the latest one I could find! Have moved glimmer, hotchos, mad4 and bouncing into the graduated list but have not changed EDD's to actuals or anything!

Newbies, add your details on the list when you feel good and ready!

becklesparkle · 30/12/2007 23:02

Hi all!

Kitty, thanks for the labour vibes! Part of me wants baby to hurry up now and the other part is beginning to remember how it hurts! Good luck for tomorrow - hope you see lovely little beanie on scan.

KD, EDD of lost baby is always hard but I found each time that the days before hand were worse than the day itself. I think it helps to have something planned, even if it is just a quiet day with your DH/DP or by yourself.

Duvetheaven, congrats and welcome to the thread, sorry you have to be here but hope that this pg will be really straightforward for you.

Cece, thinking of you and hoping you will have a better 2008 x

Helen, hope your blood test results are good tomorrow. If you are pg then baby will be well cushioned in there so fall should not have hurt it but best to get checked out anyway to pt your mind at ease. Would it be worth speaking to a MW?

Jules, your poor sister , it has been a hard year for all your family. I wonder if your sister would benefit from the heparin injections which you have? Would her docs help her after 2 m/cs given your history? I sooo hope that 2008 is a fantastic year for you and your family too.

MrsMc, hope you are okay x

sweetkitty · 30/12/2007 23:05

beckle - hope it's quick and over with soon for you, just think the minute the baby is out pain will go, you will fall madly in love and it will all be wonderful x

becklesparkle · 30/12/2007 23:21

Thanks again Kitty! I know that every ache, pain, worry, twinge and bit of agony will be worth it when I hold my LO!

sweetkitty · 31/12/2007 08:02

I know but it doesn't help beckle, I have every sympathy I went a bit mad the last week of my pregnancy with DD2, I had bad SPD, could hardly walk, kept having BHs, bad heartburn, was on antibiotics for sinusitis and a chest infection I was a walking wreck oh and I had an 18 month old to look after. Poor DP I think he came nack early from work every day.

But once that baby was out I was on top of the world, all aches and pains went and I felt great.

Get as much rest as you can and also pamper yourself.

EllieG · 31/12/2007 09:49

Hey all -

Kitty and Helen - best of luck for today x

cece - thinking of you - hope your new year is better x

Bouncingturtlewithtinsel · 31/12/2007 10:59

Hi everyone - just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year and that 2008 turns out to be your year.

HEALTHY AND WELL

(And don't forget those Pelvic Floor Exercises!!!)

feedmenow · 31/12/2007 11:51

KD, just wanted to let you know that my EDD passed quite painlessly back in August. I thought of my lost LO a lot during the build up to the EDD and a lot for a while after. My lovely SIL bought us a rose that we have planted in the front garden by the front door. It's a nice way of remembering. Of course, I still think of that LO, you know, he/she would have been x weeks old by now, what would christmas have been like, etc, etc. But I find that for mepersonally I have to think of it is a happy way too cos I wouldn't be expecting this LO if I hadn't lost my last LO.

sweetkitty · 31/12/2007 15:28

hello well the baby is doing well good heartbeat and wriggling away am so relieved and delighted finally feel I may have a baby at the end of this.
