Thank you for all your posts in 2007 and good luck with your pg & scan - I for one will be routing with you!

Hi all, hope everyone had a good Christmas - sorry that some of you are feeling so sad, its so hard at this time of the year, especially if you had a due date around now.

Jules, hope your scan went well!

Well I am due today but no signs... worried that baby is too big to engage as it is still v high and twisting and turning a lot. MW appt tomorrow so will ask her then.

kd73 · 27/12/2007 14:42

Jules, hope the scan went well. Is everything ok?

I am 9+3 also. Lost at 9+6 last time so I understand what a scary time this is.

On the positive only 4 days until 2008

Gracie14 · 27/12/2007 17:00

Just jules, this is wonderful news - I am sure you are delighted

I have had a minor bleed today and am playing the waiting game. If no change by tomorrow I have to contact GP who will contact the EPAU for an urgent scan.

However I am most worried by abdominal period type pains - can anyone confirm if this is normal?

DonDons · 27/12/2007 18:32

Justjules - fab news

Merry Christmas to all - hugs to Cece

Welcome Gracie

Kd73 - normal to get all sorts of weird pains and some bleeding has probably been experienced by most of us on here but please get it checked out for your own peace of mind

Good luck Bouncing...anyone heard from MrsMcJ?

DonDons · 27/12/2007 20:33

thats brilliant news about being transfered jules, how long till your next scan?
im 27 weeks now but feel like ive been pregnant forever!

kd73 · 27/12/2007 22:10

Thanks for all the messages.

I am simply terrified that a) its gone wrong b) its going to go wrong.

The bleeding has stopped and was very minor but the pain is something else

I am really scared because I asked dp for paracetamol when I first discovered blood loss and was resting and he brought me Ibuprofen. I asked "is this safe?" answer "yes". Actually the answer was no and it increases m/c risk by upto 80% .

I am really upset with him and I know that he is really scared for our little family

Hi just jules - I think you are my guardian angel.

I discovered the blood loss at just after 3pm, showed partner who said "oh dear", phoned NHS direct, who told me to see GP. Got an emergency appt but by the time I saw GP it was almost 5pm and the EPAU was closed. I have to phone GP in morning to see how I am doing. Its like a really, really bad period pain and someone is clawing at my womb/uterus! Have you ever experienced anything similar?

I am so pleased you are ok, I didn't know that you had been bleeding. I am sure you were going out of your mind!

GP tested me for water infection but everything was ok.

I think I just need to learn about patience, I will keep you informed.

Thanks for the email. I'll be praying for us both
