Laura3876 · 30/07/2021 19:46

So sorry to hear this @summertimes2021 but it’s always good to look at any positives there are

Summervibes040 · 30/07/2021 20:18

@Carolinesturn hello hope you're feeling OK . so i had consistent brown to dark brown and sometimes browny red for literally 26 days some days all day and other days only in morning, or when I pooped. My second period would have been due yesterday and it seems to have stopped now and its turning creamy and jelly like but I'm almost afraid of thinking its gone incase it comes back. It was very bad an on Monday this week i was passing lots of wee tiny fibres and tissues and there were lots of it floating in my urine..it really worried me to be honest and I was wondering was that a MC but no red blood and no pains.i did a pregnancy test today and it was a good strong line but me being me, i was over analysing it and comparing it to previous tests and thinking it was a tad lighter. The midwife at my last scan seen the spotting I was having as it was on the camera probe and she really did not seem worried so long as it wasn't fresh blood. My boyfriend keeps reminding me of that each time I get upset with worry about it.

Cheekymonkey3112 · 30/07/2021 20:19

@carolinesturn yeah thats true, could be that. Was your mum happy?

PlanABC · 30/07/2021 20:29

@summertimes2021 i'm so sorry :( well done for taking the positives, but thinking of you all the same.

@21Bee thanks for setting that up! I might wait a little while longer until I join there, but hopefully see you soon x

@J0lly that must have been really hard. Sending you lots of love. Here if you want to chat about anything.
@summertimes2021 so sorry to hear that. But as others say you know you can conceive which is step one right? Look after yourself xxx
@21Bee please can I join too?

mummytoolive · 31/07/2021 07:10

Stark white test for me this morning. I could just tell the hormones had completely dropped so wasn't surprised by the negative test.
Obviously heartbroken as it's my second lost pregnancy in 2 months.
I wish you all the healthiest of pregnancies 😘😘😘

I'm so sorry to both of you, sending lots of love ❤️

Carolinesturn · 31/07/2021 10:09

I'm am so so sorry to @summertimes2021 and @mummytoolive
I followed you right through from your conception posts on the other thread, least you have those lovely ladies to help you and next time will be your time.
@Summervibes040 so I DTD this morning and guess what! No spotting! I'm like you as I darent get too excited but I'm now 4/5 days from my missed period so that's good.
You must be further on than me if you are past your second missed period, is your due date the end of April? Least you have a reassuring midwife and remember they'll have seen this so many times, there are so many variables in pregnancy, no woman is the same!

GoingGently · 31/07/2021 11:02

@mummytoolive so sorry Flowers

Lorbs10 · 31/07/2021 13:34

Hi ladies,
Hope it’s ok to join!
I’m 15 days PO. Got my BFP yesterday and it still hasn’t sunk in. We have been trying for years…
I have sore nipples, very slight nausea and have been getting mild cramps for most of the week.
I also have really bad diarrhoea…has anyone else experienced this??
Wishing everyone the best of luck with their pregnancies!
X

PlanABC · 31/07/2021 13:53

Hi @Lorbs10, congratulations! I hope everything goes well for you now!!

I am exactly 5 weeks pregnant today (counting from ovulation) and have had sore breasts for a couple of days but no other symptoms. The soreness also seems to come and go. Because I conceived through a private clinic I got a blood test at 16DPO that confirmed I was pregnant. I'm afraid to do any other pregnancy tests now but my 8 week scan isn't august 24th and i'm already a nervous wreck 😅

Lalala1985 · 31/07/2021 14:34

Congrats @Lorbs10! I'm also 15DPO. And (tmi) I seem to be swinging between that and constipation so I think it's perfectly normal.

Lorbs10 · 31/07/2021 14:41

@PlanABC - I’ve done 2 tests now…I’m trying to be relaxed about it all but oh my how hard that is going to be 😂

@Lalala1985 - oh me too…I’m hoping this isn’t going to be an ongoing thing 🙈

Nervyy · 31/07/2021 14:41

@PlanABC

Hi *@Lorbs10*, congratulations! I hope everything goes well for you now!!

@PlanABC @Lorbs10 also 5 weeks today based on likely date of conception! Sore boobs, light cramps, extreme fatigue and I constantly need to pee!!
Carolinesturn · 31/07/2021 17:32

Congratulations @Lorbs10! Brilliant news and I hope you have a long and successful pregnancy.
Are all you guys (@PlanABC and @Nervyy) counting your weeks from ovulation rather than the first day of your last period. If I count from ovulation I'm a measly 2.5 weeks... how crap is that, I want to be much further on 😂
Also if I take a digital test that tells you how far along you are in weeks what should it say? Does it count from ovulation or from first day of your missed period?
Hope everyone is well x

PlanABC · 31/07/2021 17:35

@carolinesturn no my ovulation was only like 19 days ago but because i ovulated a bit later (day 16/17) counting from start of last period means it's a bit off (as that normally assumed ovulation on day 14). X

PlanABC · 31/07/2021 18:18

Hey ladies, my breasts were really sore and heavy yesterday and I finally thought something was happening.. but today the soreness has lessened and they have definitely deflated. Could this be bad news? X

Carolinesturn · 31/07/2021 19:54

@PlanABC I feel the same, the spotting I desperately wanted gone has stopped and cramping has lessened now I'm worried... what are we like! I'm sure you've got nothing to worry about

Firstimer101 · 31/07/2021 20:06

@PlanABC it’s really hard to not constantly look for symptoms isn’t it. Other than cramping, tiredness and being more thirsty I have no other symptoms. Do we have 8 more months of this anxiety?!

Boredinthehouse12 · 31/07/2021 20:35

Does anyone plan on having an early scan?

I’ve had recurrent miscarriages which means I’m entitled to NHS weekly scans after x week.

I only got my BFP 2 days ago and I’m already counting down the days until my first one!

Nervyy · 31/07/2021 20:54

@Carolinesturn

@Carolinesturn so I don't actually know the date of my last period as I am terrible at tracking but I'd say I'm very regular. What I do know is approx when I ovulated (as I can just tell with how my body is plus I get cramps) and we had unprotected sex (TMI!) on 10/7. I was really confused with the dating system when I first found but technically pregnancy is counted from your LMP and not when you DTD, so if you know your LMP date then you count from then. As I don't know my LMP date I used a calculator which used date of conception instead and I assume, it guessed my period was 2 weeks prior. So even though we likely only conceived on 10/7, I'm 5 weeks and not 3 weeks. Hope that makes sense?? Sorry if it's a waffle!
