Hey,
Anyone else out there due April 2022.
I got my BFP at 10DPO yesterday. I already have a 6 month old daughter and it's my 4th pregnancy 🌈❤️

@Boredinthehouse12

Does anyone plan on having an early scan?

I’ve had recurrent miscarriages which means I’m entitled to NHS weekly scans after x week.

I only got my BFP 2 days ago and I’m already counting down the days until my first one!

@Boredinthehouse12 I have an early scan booked with a private company for August 12th, I'll be just shy of 7 weeks. I feel like it's too early but I just want them to look for viability / placement. This is my first pregnancy so I wasn't really sure how else to ease my anxiety tbh! So sorry to read about your miscarriages, how long before your first scan?
Nervyy · 31/07/2021 20:59

@PlanABC

Hey ladies, my breasts were really sore and heavy yesterday and I finally thought something was happening.. but today the soreness has lessened and they have definitely deflated. Could this be bad news? X
@PlanABC try not to over analyse or panic - it may be easing to make way for another symptom! Or it may be fluctuating or that you're not as sensitive to it as it's been a while. If you have serious concerns then reach out to your EPU or GP as you have a right to be heard and supported x
Lalala1985 · 31/07/2021 23:50

@PlanABC I had that this morning, went into a bit of a panic this morning for exactly the same reason. And then I had a sore lower back, and of course I start reading that it's a bad sign...

Anyway I told myself that I've always had lower back problems, went and did the stretches my physio told me to do last time it was bad- it went away on its own... and now my sore boobs are back tonight! I think the symptoms just come and go.

Lalala1985 · 31/07/2021 23:52

@Boredinthehouse12 I haven't booked it yet (worried about jinxing things), but I'm planning to have a private scan around the 7week mark.

Like @Nervyy this is my first, and I just want to know everything is OK.

PlanABC · 01/08/2021 05:05

Lalala1985 my boobs have completely gone back to normal now.. i'll do a pregnancy test maybe today or tomorrow (need to buy one) and see. Hope all goes well for you! X

How is everyone today? @Cheekymonkey3112 have your cramps eased at all?
I had slight pink spotting this morning after DTD but ok now, cramping has also eased.
I told my sisters via a family WhatsApp with my digital test last night so I feel more like it's real! Weirdly I worked out my sister who is three years older than me has one son which she conceived three years ago and my babies due date will be the same as his almost to the day (three years on) all being well, so that's very odd.

Hello ladies Smile

I’m tentatively joining this thread as I have had a very faint line on a frer this morning. I am not due AF until Thursday but I really hope this is the start of a BFP.

I’ve attached a pic, please do let me know if it looks like a positive! The top test is from yesterday, the bottom one from this morning. The line is pink in person and was showing when I checked the test at the 3 min mark.

Hopefully I can become a fully fledged member of this group when I feel a bit more confident that it’s actually happening!!

Due April 2022

Hi and congratulations! ❤️ the bottom one definitely looks like a positive to me! Sometimes if you're unsure, clear blue digital tests are quite blatant which makes interpretation easier, but your test looks v similar to mine a couple of weeks ago! Fingers crossed for you x
Cheekymonkey3112 · 01/08/2021 10:36

@carolinesturn hey! Thanks for thinking of me. Yeh my cramps have eased, I had back ache last night which was painful. I got blood taken yesterday and my HCG has doubled in 48 hrs so need to wait and see how the scan goes at the end of the week 🤞 the spotting could just be irritation from the cervix. It is probably sensitive just now.

@bonnyrascal congratulations! How many dpo are you? Are you from Scotland with your username? Xx

BaaBaaEmily · 01/08/2021 11:08

Hi @spookycookies so glad to see you here too! I hope this is our rainbow baby 🌈
That looks like a positive to me @bonnyrascal
Facebook group sounds good as I'm not very good at keeping up on here, how do I find it?

BaaBaaEmily · 01/08/2021 11:16

Is anyone else's cramps coming and going? In my previous pregnancies I've had cramps but I can't remember if they eased off even came back again. Just feel like period cramps so hopefully normal to come and go!

89redballoons · 01/08/2021 11:21

Hello... I found out a couple of hours ago that I'm pregnant with my second!

My last period started on 30 June, not sure when I ovulated but only actually had sex once in the last month Blush so I guess it must have been around then!

I have PCOS and it took ages to get pregnant with my first. This time I shopped breastfeeding in May, had a couple of periods 5 or 6 weeks apart and... here we are! I am very chuffed although obviously it's very early days and I've only told my husband so far.

My first pregnancy was fairly trouble free apart from some third trimester bleeding which could have been related to having having an operation on my cervix to remove pre cancerous cells. This time around I'll obviously have a toddler in tow, plus I'm a good couple of stone heavier than I was last time (thanks toddler and lockdown Hmm) so wondering how different it will be.

Mine are definitely coming and going! First pregnancy so nothing to compare it to, but they seem to be getting less as the days go on. This morning I had some mild cramps and yesterday none, the day before that it was more. Nausea is ramping up though and I threw up yesterday trying to take my folic acid 😂
broodyas · 01/08/2021 11:54

@89redballoons congratulations and welcome! Smile

Cheekymonkey3112 · 01/08/2021 12:07

Welcome @89redballoons and congratulations!! I also have a toddler (he's 4 but still got the tantrums of a toddler🙄) and a few more stone since my first pregnancy. The joys! I'm actually heavier now than I was at 30 weeks pregnant with him 🙈 xx

jmap81 · 01/08/2021 12:32

All these people with paranoia/anxiety/concern about their symptoms, I can totally relate. Has anyone else been watching their heart rate? Mine has been 20 bpm higher than normal for the past few weeks but in the last day or so, it's tailing off a bigger. Trying to stay positive but realistic and it's so hard!

Scottishgal941 · 01/08/2021 12:35

Hi everyone !
Hope you’re all well, hoping I can join in please, got my positive last week, first time ever, so nerve racking, glad to know I’m not alone though

@jmap81 haven't been watching my heart rate but definitely have been 'checking' myself for cramps / sore boobs / how often am I peeing etc was it more or less then yesterday etc etc soooo frustrating as I just want to enjoy this!! Roll on September 18th ❤️🤞🏻
Lalala1985 · 01/08/2021 14:36

@jmap81 I've heard about resting heart rate going up after ovulation and during pregnancy. I track mine through my watch and I've never noticed an increase.

aries94 · 01/08/2021 15:03

I found out last week after taking about 15 tests now haha! Due beginning of April, however today I've had spotting started of dark brown and really light and it's a little heavier now an hour later and I'm petrified something is wrong - has anyone else experienced spotting? Does anyone know if this is normal? So worried! :(

GoingGently · 01/08/2021 20:02

It's because blood volume just about doubles I think

GoingGently · 01/08/2021 20:02

5 weeks today according to app and I am SO tired!!! Annoyingly cannot sleep late in the morning but just had a 2 hour nap on the sofa! Feeling a bit useless TBH!

Firstimer101 · 01/08/2021 20:14

@GoingGently I feel the same! Just over 5 weeks and waking up super early to pee and then having to have a siesta on the sofa each afternoon. I’ve decided to milk it. My OH is usually pretty hands off around the house. He’s turned into Mary Poppins since we got the news.
Does anyone know how long these cramps will last. Mine seem mild but i keep worrrying that I’ll get my period.

Carolinesturn · 01/08/2021 20:32

Hi @aries94, I had spotting since 7dpo and it was always light brown occasionally pink, I am 18dpo and the spotting has only just eased and now turned to a more creamy off white, I still get a wee bit after sex.
@Firstimer101 my cramps have just eased but that in itself I find worrying as it was my pregnancy normal if you know what I mean. I took a CB digital test yesterday that read 'pregnant 2/3 week' but I think I'm finishing POAS for now, it's not good for me
