Hey,
Anyone else out there due April 2022.
I got my BFP at 10DPO yesterday. I already have a 6 month old daughter and it's my 4th pregnancy 🌈❤️

@wannabeamummysobad lol first world problems. I’m not double vaccinated yet so
I’m using that as an excuse coz I’m not drinking outside in this weather lol

@FinnsMammy I know 🙈 but that's the one thing playing on my mind.

I’ve called the gp just waiting for them to get back to me, fingers crossed they come up with something!

@wannabeamummysobad Always be the driver! DHs alcohol intake has gone up loads in the last few weeks

@Lalala1985 that is a good shout except we live in London so no need to drive. In fact driving is inconvenient....
I might just cancel things if I don't feel comfortable sharing our BFP so early in our pregnancy.
Especially because we were blessed to get it our first TTC cycle so it's all new and I'm on edge.

@FinnsMammy Thank you for remembering me. I’ve just had my scan. I had an ectopic scare a few days ago but it turns out the pin was being caused by a cyst.

I saw the baby and the heartbeat. I was so small! After 2 losses I’m trying not to get my hopes up but I have some reassurance for now

@wannabeamummysobad you could say you're quitting alcohol for health reasons, or that you're on anti booties. Shame it's not dry January or Stoptober time as those would make great excuses.

I've got my scan in a few hours... I should be 7 weeks now. I'm absolutely terrified, not in the least bit excited. I'll let everyone know how it goes either way.

@Boredinthehouse12 good to hear everything went well with yours, having a previous ectopic must have been very distressing and bound to effect you this time.

What are people doing vitamin wise?
I was using pregnacare "before conception" (I have 1 unopened pack and 6 tablets left) and planned to move onto pregnacare "max" on Tuesday (I'll be around 5 weeks and will have finished the opened pack).

Not sure if I should just continue using the "before conception" until I finish everything I have or if I'm best following my initial plan and be grateful I didn't need to use the "before conception" for long.

^Note: I've been using before conception since April 2021 though only started trying in July.

Any advice would be appreciated x

I take the before conception ones as it says you can continue to take then into pregnancy! I have the same amount as you left and will be finishing those xx

May I please join in? I'm due on April 5th. Just had a scan and so far so good. 😊

@wannabeamummysobad I’m going to get some of the pregnacare pregnancy ones next week I’ve just been taking vitabiotics ones for woman just a general multivitamin. Was just thinking today I need to have a think about things to avoid eating and drinking like making sure cheese is pasteurised, I bought some caffeine free coffee and it’s actually ok. @ANA95 that's good to know. Thinking using before conception for another month isn't an issue but also think there must be a difference between the two and that's why I'm questioning.

@LittleMG I had decaf for the first time yesterday and honestly I can't tell the difference. DH is a Godsend he's been getting clued up on what I can and can't have. I need to pop fo the gp to get a book that tells me what to expect each week of pregnancy and a free prescription paperwork.

I have my first appointment with my gp (over the phone) next week.

I had my scan, measuring 7+1 and a heart beat! I have a retroverted uterus which I didn't know but apart from that all looking normal!

@wannabeamummysobad I’ve literally just found out and only just missed my period, when should you make a dr app do u think? I think u are further along?

@LittleMG I got my BFP on Monday at 13DPO (day before AF was due). I called my gp the next day as I wasn't sure of the process. They were fine with it. I'll be 5 weeks by my appointment and will likely book an early scan for week 7/8.

I don't think there is a right or wrong time tbh.
