Hey ladies,

Hope you’re all well!

May I join? 😊

Have just got a faint positive at 13dpo, have been testing negative for the last few days but have had alllll the symptoms I had from my previous pregnancy so just knew it! The tiredness is like no other 🙈

Would love to join the Facebook group too if I can! Xx

JemRose · 18/08/2021 08:02

@mummytoolive and @Cheekymonkey3112 I remember you from the July bus! Congrats!

I'm 6 weeks today and it's only just starting to feel real. I havnt had many symptoms other than total exhaustion haha. Im pretty nervous after my missed miscarriage last year, feel like I've got no idea what's going on in there! Definitly booking an early scan for 8 weeks-ish. My last pregnancy ended at 7 weeks but had no sign of it til I miscarried at 14 weeks so definitely don't want to put myself through that again. So hopeful but so nervous!

MamaSJ15 · 18/08/2021 09:56

@pocketfullofstorms Thank you! It was unexpected to say the least. I tested again this morning though and I'm not sure if the line is a little lighter than yesterdays... Will have to keep an eye on that just in case.

MrsT3721 · 18/08/2021 10:14
@MrsT3721 we have the same due date 😊. This is my first pregnancy (we thankfully conceived our first cycle) so everyday is completely new to me and DH.
I'm loving it though and can't wait to see the little one in April.
Awww yay! Due date twin! Lovely to meet you! Xx

JemRose · 18/08/2021 11:11

I'm 6 weeks today, all being well I'd be due April 13th (hopefully!!!)

Nervyy · 18/08/2021 12:42

Morning all, hope everyone is okay???
I'm just wondering if anyone else is struggling with their mood? 😔
I'm really really happy about this pregnancy so I know that this mood change is totally separate to my feelings about the baby, but I do think hormones may be playing a part.
I'm waking up feeling really low, tired and demotivated with everything 😔 I have so much I need to do and I genuinely struggle to even drag myself out of bed, never mind move off the sofa once I get on it. I just look forward to bedtime because it's the only time I don't feel so low, as I get to go to sleep. I feel deflated and fed up and I just want to be productive but I feel stuck.
Anyone else experiencing anything similar??
Thanks in advance to anyone comfortable sharing xx

Namastay · 18/08/2021 13:11

@Nervyy hi, for what it's worth I think you're very brave to be honest about how you're feeling 💪💪 we all feel the need to present a picture of perfection to the world and yet that's not real life 😊I've had some very difficult mental health problems in the past and speaking about how we feel IS ALWAYS the best thing to do ❤️
I reckon we have to just ride the waves of hormones that are to come and never stop sharing. It's ok to not be ok and it's good to say when you're not ok. Take good care xx

Hiya, also found out last week that I am pregnant, bit of a whirlwind. Had absolutely no idea, wasn't trying and had been on the pill as well as having PCOS! Fell off a horse last week and went to hospital, and well, turns out there's a baby in there....

Had an early scan yesterday due to the fall and have general cramps/bleeding, but saw a little heart beat and measuring at 6 weeks today!

Still having brown spotting which is absolutely terrifying me, but everyone on every platform seems to be saying it's normal, so trying to not be such a stress head. Anyone else get spotting and is scared to death?!! (Unnecessarily....)

HolyShmoly · 18/08/2021 13:52

Hello lovely ladies. Is there a Facebook group for April set up yet? I'm 6w 4d with my third pregnancy, I have a 3 yr old and had an early miscarriage (6w5d) earlier this year. I have the most amazing group of friends from my toddlers baby group so I'm hoping to have the same again.

Thanks @MrsArrison and @Stephlp . I've just requested access though I wasn't asked for a password; instead was asked a few questions.
Thanks again

Carolinesyear · 18/08/2021 14:53

How is everyone today? Due to my spotting and cramping I've decided to go for an early scan tomorrow when I will be 6 weeks and 6 days. I hope it won't be too early and it gives me some reassurance mainly that it's not ectopic. I'm going to edinburgh for mine... wish me luck :)

LadyBird2020 · 18/08/2021 14:57

@Carolinesyear good luck tomorrow. I went for a scan on Monday and calculated it to be 6 weeks.
I measured 6 weeks and 6 days and see a little heartbeat. X

Carolinesyear · 18/08/2021 15:04

That's so nice to hear @LadyBird2020
I'm such a worrier I just bit the bullet. I did phone epu about my spotting but they weren't willing to scan which is fair entas it's not been heavy and my cramping is more of a AF cramps. However if it is ectopic it'd be worth it to save the tube and if it's not hopefully it'll be good news and my mind will be put at ease

xomum · 18/08/2021 15:06

Hey everyone! How is all of your symptoms? My boobs and nausea was so bad for a week or so and all seemed to have completely disappeared this week! 😞 it's my first pregnancy so just worrying myself sick!

LadyBird2020 · 18/08/2021 15:15

@Carolinesyear I am sure you have nothing to worry about. Cramping and spotting is completely normal in early pregnancy. My friend had a heavy bleed and her little girl turns 1 in October.
It is nice to get an early scan in to make sure everything is doing ok and where it should be. At the same time it is so nerve wracking.
I was so nervous on the morning of the scan, I was shivering and felt so sick. I felt like I was holding my breathe the whole time they were scanning me but seeing that little heartbeat was the best feeling.
I have also had it the other side when I've been told bad news. Worse day of my life but at the same time I was glad to have found out sooner rather than later. X

Gray2103 · 18/08/2021 15:20

Hey am I able to please join this group, I found it on Facebook but it’s asking my for a password xx

Derbee · 18/08/2021 15:31

@xomum same happened to me. I’ve been housebound throwing up, and really painful boobs. Nothing really yesterday, and I was thinking the worst. Woke up today and still felt fine, so I was pretty panicked. This afternoon the nausea has hit again, and my boobs have shooting dagger pains in them. So maybe it’s normal to come and go, and I should have just appreciated yesterday rather than feeling sad about feeling normal.

It’s all so stressful! First pregnancy for me too

LadyBird2020 · 18/08/2021 15:31

@xomum try not to worry. I had the same thing. Had symptoms before my period was due, got a BFP and lost them all. Had my first scan and got a flickering little heartbeat. They come and go in early pregnancy and some people don't get any at all x

Derbee · 18/08/2021 15:32

Also, I’ve been wearing travel sickness bands since Sunday and I’ve found they make a higher difference. I can walk around without vomiting, which is life changing 😬

Bonniethistle · 18/08/2021 17:08

@Carolinesyear I was in EPU yesterday (I'm in West Lothian so not far from you) I have really strong cramps on one side but no bleeding. I am only 6 weeks but they were amazing and sent me for a scan and thankfully everything is in the right place. Hope everything goes well tomorrow for you x

SlipperTripper · 18/08/2021 18:22

Hi everyone, joining if that's ok. Due April 23rd, absolutely petrified - it's my second pregnancy, lost my daughter last year at 21 weeks, so stressing out BIG TIME!

Only 4w5d, and not feeling much except a bit of cramping and slightly fizzy boobs, but I am knackered... 😴

bollocksthemess · 18/08/2021 19:18

Hi everyone, I’m 6w 3d and knackered! Also cold as someone else mentioned above, DH is lying on top of the covers at night while I’m hiding under two duvets.

The guy who owns the land where I run my business has chosen not to renew my lease and given me just 14 days notice to leave, so this week has been remarkably stressful.

Anyone else completely emotionally incontinent? I’m not normally hormonally grumpy/sad but I currently appear to have absolutely no control over my emotions. I can actually feel the crazy leaking out and I’m normally super in control with absolutely no temper to speak of.
Well that’s all completely out of the window. I’ve got road rage (I drive a tiny 1 litre car so there is literally no point), the dog who is like my child is pissing me off no end and now won’t sit near me, I’ve cried twice today (my DH has seen me cry twice our entire relationship before this).
Oh, and I can smell EVERYTHING.

I’ve booked a scan for Monday when I’ll be 7+1, hopefully everything is in the right place and there’s a heartbeat. Hope everything is progressing for everyone else, it’s such early days though isn’t it, I daren’t get excited.

HolyShmoly · 18/08/2021 19:43

Thanks!

HolyShmoly · 18/08/2021 19:47

On the symptoms front: I'm so nauseous today that I finished work early to have a nap before I had to do the nursery run. I don't remember having anything more than a shallow gag reflex first time around so this is new and fun. Confused My boobs are sensitive but I don't seem to have the porn-star boobjob and pain like I had with the toddler, but I think that came slightly later.
