@Carolinesyear if you're spotting I'd go get checked out! It could be nothing! But it's very common to spot after having sex due to the cervix being more sensitive

Carolinesyear · 17/08/2021 12:16

Sorry, I maybe didn't explain myself, those tests are all from today but with the same urine at different rates of dilution.

HenrysMammy · 17/08/2021 12:26

@chloehunt

Guys, I’m about to ask what may seem like a really stupid question but I just want reassurance lol. I twisted to look behind me yesterday to see the car behind I did twist quite far back, I’m just panicking incase I’ve caused something by doing this, I wouldn’t of would I?
No I don’t think you can do any damage by twisting :) xx
FinnsMammy · 17/08/2021 14:16

@Carolinesyear stop testing and dump whatever remaining tests you have! Spotting after sex or a pelvic exam in early pregnancy is completely normal and I would not even consider that spotting in that pic. Just try and enjoy your pregnancy reality is there’s nothing you can do at this stage either way but one thing is for certain stressing over what may or may not happen definitely won’t help. Please try and focus on something else I know it’s easier said then done XX

FinnsMammy · 17/08/2021 14:17

@chloehunt definitely won’t do any damage twisting. I ran and lifted weights all through my first pregnancy my child is perfect. Don’t worry 😉

chloehunt · 17/08/2021 14:20

@FinnsMammy ah really? I spoke to my gp this morning they said it just sounded like I had pulled a muscle

FinnsMammy · 17/08/2021 15:02

@chloehunt sorry I thought you were asking if twisting as in twisting your core muscles would hurt the baby. I didn’t know you had actually injured yourself in the process. Best get it checked out if you have pulled something x

FinnsMammy · 17/08/2021 15:04

Girls have any of you tried these yet for nausea ? X

Due April 2022
rosiej95 · 17/08/2021 15:19

@FinnsMammy I've got the travel sickness bands think there similar?

Just be careful if you wear them out and about. I know someone that did & It meant she had to tell a couple of people early cause they noticed she was wearing them. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Helenmumoftw0 · 17/08/2021 15:37

May be joining this train if my FRER is positive 🤯

Chocoholic01 · 17/08/2021 16:34

Hi everyone! I'm 7w1d with number 2 and would love to join this thread! Congrats on all your pregnancies - I'm feeling so sick at the mo so interested to see how everyone else is coping with that - desperate for some quick fixes to stop constantly feeling like I'm about to vom 😩

SaraKitty · 17/08/2021 18:30

Hope everyone is dealing with this looonnggg first trimester ok ! I’m on my third and it’s not any easier even though I have two young kids to keep me busy! I’m 4weeks + 2 days , my first appointment is at 8+1 when I’ll get a scan so roll on 14th sept ! So many gas cramps and bloat , I get tired early but weird early starts in the morning when I wake up I feel more energised so odd ! I already want to stop working 😆 can’t wait for maternity leave 🙏🏻

chloehunt · 17/08/2021 18:34

I twisted to look behind me and I over extended myself, they said they weren't worried as it just sounds like I pulled a muscle

SaraKitty · 17/08/2021 18:40

Also is anyone really cold right now ? I am so cold all the time and my husband doesn’t feel the same .

pocketfullofstorms · 17/08/2021 18:57

Hello all,
May I join you please? I've just had my BFP and from my dates it looks like I'll be due mid April 2022.
I've not felt right for a week or so and had every early pregnancy sign going (sickness, tiredness, headaches, emotional, swollen gums and sensitive teeth, veiny tender breasts etc) yet I still can't quite believe it!

All going well this will be my third child but my 1st with my husband. My ex husband was abusive so both previous pregnancies weren't nice experiences so I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment.

Looking forward to travelling along this journey with you all Thanks

Starsnspikes · 17/08/2021 19:03

Hi everyone! Tentatively joining in. Got my BFP last Wednesday at 12dpo, been obsessively POAS ever since - I've run out of tests now and I don't think my lines can get any darker so I'm stepping away from the sticks 😂

This is our first, only been TTC for 3 months so if it sticks I'll feel very lucky. I can't believe it will though, I almost feel like it's tempting fate joining groups and stuff but this is so new to me and at the moment it's real and it's happening. We won't be telling anyone until after the first scan (if the little poppy seed makes it that far!), so it's good to have somewhere to talk about this weird and wonderful experience :)

FinnsMammy · 17/08/2021 19:38

@rosiej95 that’s a good point better hide them under my sleeves lol
@Laurenxx94 how’s everything your end?

chloehunt · 17/08/2021 19:47

@SaraKitty I have moments like that!

chloehunt · 17/08/2021 19:48

@pocketfullofstorms congratulations xx

MrsT3721 · 17/08/2021 20:21

Evening everyone!
I've just found out I'm pregnant with my second baby Smile due 26th April by my calculations!
Really excited! My baby girl is only 11 months too.
Xx

Laurenxx94 · 17/08/2021 20:33

@FinnsMammy hey !! Thanks for asking I've been quiet trying to focus on other things just because I have my scan Thursday so really frightened . Good news I actually feel pregnant so I just really hope to see our wee bubba on Thursday 🤞 how r u? Xx

wannabeamummysobad · 17/08/2021 21:07

@MrsT3721 we have the same due date 😊. This is my first pregnancy (we thankfully conceived our first cycle) so everyday is completely new to me and DH.
I'm loving it though and can't wait to see the little one in April.

MamaSJ15 · 17/08/2021 23:18

Hello, may I join please? I have a story to my BFP...
Cycle 4 of TTC #2. AF was due Thursday, tested Friday BFN. Started spotting brown blood on Saturday then seemed like period started on Sunday. After this DH and me had a discussion and decided to maybe take a break from TTC so I thought I'll go back on the pill, but I'll just do a test to rule it before I do. BAM!! BFP! We are completely in shock if I'm honest, and the fact that I'm still bleeding (the whole time hasn't been as heavy as a proper period) makes me feel like it can't be real, but I did a FRER this morning and a clearblue at lunch time, both positive!
How's everyone doing? I haven't read through the thread because it's very long so please, update me 😊

pocketfullofstorms · 17/08/2021 23:24

@MamaSJ15 congratulations! I saw you duck out on some of the TTC boards and hoped you were okay so this is rather magical!

Chocoholic01 · 18/08/2021 02:36

@SaraKitty

Also is anyone really cold right now ? I am so cold all the time and my husband doesn’t feel the same .
All the time!! My husband is baffled by it too - I'm shivering when I get into bed under the covers whilst he's lying on top boiling 🤷🏻‍♀️ glad it's not just me!
