Hey,
Anyone else out there due April 2022.
I got my BFP at 10DPO yesterday. I already have a 6 month old daughter and it's my 4th pregnancy 🌈❤️

@fiorelli I am cramping too, when it was accompanied by spotting in my first two weeks I was worried and when I phoned the midwife she told me to test again in two weeks to make sure I hadn't had a chemical, the spotting stopped the day after I spoke to her and fast forward two weeks and I'm still testing positive. I'm still cramping, sometimes it just feels like heavy pulling sometimes it's like AF cramping but it never feels 100% normal, ie I always know it's there but it doesn't wake me up and I'm not floored by it. I'd say it's around 4 on the pain level at its worst but mostly 1 or 2

Derbee · 13/08/2021 11:04

@21Bee Yes, I did wonder about iron deficiency. Am taking supplements, but maybe need blood tests to confirm.

fiorelli · 13/08/2021 11:07

What you said sounds exactly like me right now with the spotting and the same on the pain level too. I have just done a test I'm not sure if this is classed as a dye stealer or if its fsnt because neither line are full of colour but I don't know if that's just because they're cheap or I'm overthinking everything. How far gone are you now?

Due April 2022
fiorelli · 13/08/2021 11:09

Faint*

Carolinesyear · 13/08/2021 12:25

@fiorelli I'd class those as dye stealers.
I am 6 weeks today!

Carolinesyear · 13/08/2021 12:30

You're 9dpo, I spotted until 18dpo. I also had a little about a week ago. Is it light? I would have described mine as more slightly tan discharge than spotting

Carolinesyear · 13/08/2021 12:32

Sorry I thought you were 9dpo but actually you are just a little behind me. Dunno why I thought that. Sounds like we are having very similar symptoms @fiorelli
Is this your first pregnancy? It's my first

CTMcG · 13/08/2021 14:38

Good afternoon everyone!!

Can I join please? I got my BFP 2 days ago at 10dpo and the line has got darker today at 12dpo!

First ever pregnancy and don't feel pregnant or at least how I imagined i would feel! Lol tired and constant hunger, not cravings, just a rumbling stomach but thats about it!

App shows me at 5w+1, does this still count even if i didn't ovulate until about cd21? I am currently cd33.

App is putting my due date mid April xx

Derbee · 13/08/2021 14:59

Congrats @CTMcG! This is my first pregnancy too, and I have no idea what to expect! I’ve been feeling really sick ALL day, and throwing up in the evenings, ever since I found out a couple of weeks ago.

Haven’t told anyone yet so it’s been really nice to have this forum!

CTMcG · 13/08/2021 15:01

@Derbee congrats!! How far are you on aprox?

It hasnt sank in yet, i think if i was feeling sick etc it might feel more real but so far nothing, just mild cramps here and there! X

Carolinesyear · 13/08/2021 15:17

@CTMcG I havnt had sickness at all but neither did my mum so trying not to worry too much, also only 6 weeks today so still plenty of time I suppose

Derbee · 13/08/2021 15:35

@CTMcG I am 7wk1d. Found out at 5wk1d and have been increasingly sick everyday. Lol. My EDD is 31st March 2022, so I’m 2 weeks ahead of you.

I keep just thinking, everything is normal, and nothing is normal. Just got to all hope for the best don’t we!

CTMcG · 13/08/2021 15:38

@Derbee its scary isnt it! Obviously my husband knows so i can talk to him but i so desperately want to tell my mum but know its so early. I am going to try and wait another 2 weeks, it might have sank in by then lol

Derbee · 13/08/2021 15:52

@CTMcG were going on a family holiday on Monday! I am so sick I think we’ll need to tell everyone, although it’s much earlier than I would choose. Other option is to cancel and make an excuse, but it’s all booked and paid for...

But it means parents, sister/husband, and brother/gf all finding out at 7.5wks.

FirstTimer22 · 13/08/2021 16:24

I’m due April 2022 too, first pregnancy. Really not up with the lingo (just joined!), can anyone give me some insight!?

fiorelli · 13/08/2021 17:53

I'm hoping so keeping everything crossed!

fiorelli · 13/08/2021 17:56

Hey congratulations!
Dpo - days past ovulation
Hpt - home pregnancy test
Bfp - big fat positive
Dd - dear daughter
Ds - dear son
... I've missed out loads I know I have but this is all I can think of off the top of my head xxx

Paintingfences · 13/08/2021 18:06

Congrats to all! Hope we all have a healthy pregnancy 😊 I managed to eat all my porridge this morning which made me instantly worried that something was wrong! Don't feel sick or anything today, almost hope for something to make it more real...

This was me yesterday then today I’ve been nauseous ALL day! I think it comes and goes 💗
Paintingfences · 13/08/2021 18:20

Thanks for the reassurance! I did Google it and it's totally normal but it's still weird. I think maybe I just don't believe it yet, it seems surreal.

Derbee · 13/08/2021 19:24

My nausea eased up today a bit (I’ve been housebound and throwing up), but I now have a UTI! Started (pregnancy safe) antibiotics, so hope to start feeling better soon.

I feel sorry for DP - he’s feeling terrible that he can’t actually do anything to make me feel better and I’m just sitting here crying and puking a lot of the time! Haha

Harlequin1088 · 14/08/2021 12:20

Hello! I'm new here. I'm due around 19th April 2022. First time Mum so it'd be lovely to share this journey with you all Smile

Bebazpba · 14/08/2021 12:33

@Harlequin1088 Congratulations! It's my first pregnancy as well. So exciting Smile

rosiej95 · 14/08/2021 13:33

Hey all

Been feeling a bit nauseous today & had a bit of cramping today too
I keep telling myself I'm bound to have a bit of cramping because I'll be 6 weeks on Monday & it's obvs growing & getting comfy 🤞🏻 😂

Can finally ring the doctors on Monday & get booked in with the midwife
Feel like I've made it to a little milestone 😂

Bonniethistle · 14/08/2021 15:32

I feel the same, I will be 6 weeks on Tuesday. I think every week until 12 weeks will feel like a milestone haha x
