Hey,
Anyone else out there due April 2022.
I got my BFP at 10DPO yesterday. I already have a 6 month old daughter and it's my 4th pregnancy 🌈❤️

@Carolinesturn completely understand that any changes are making you nervous. I’ve also packed in the home testing. Think we just have to ride this out and hope everything aligns.

GoingGently · 01/08/2021 21:19

@Firstimer101 I had cramps on and off for at least 2 months last time. Best to ignore them really because I think anything goes!

rosiej95 · 01/08/2021 21:31

Hi all would love to join if that's ok? :)

Got my bfp on Thursday this is #1 for us I'm so exited but nervous at the same time not got to many symptoms occasional sore boobs & cramps
I'm in the process of moving doctors & then will ring them in the next couple of days
I keep looking at my tests & still can't believe I'm pregnant 😂😍🥰

Nervyy · 01/08/2021 21:53

Definitely agree with everyone saying they're tailing back with POAS, I have become slightly obsessed. I'm allowing myself a digital weeks CB test on Thursday as we are planning to tell family and I should be 3+ by then so hoping to see that progression! (Technically will be nearly 6 weeks).
Had some cramping earlier but might've just been normal tummy ache!

Just wondering if anyone is going to bother getting it confirmed by a blood test from the docs?

Last pregnancy I did a whole two home tests and that was it.... now I've done 8 already!! 🙈 just in disbelief really...

Is there any point getting a blood test?

Summervibes040 · 01/08/2021 22:52

@Carolinesturn heyy I'm actually due at the end of March all being well Friday can't come quick enough. I keep finding myself googling then overthinking about the negative things I've read. Really trying to stay positive. Never expected to have this much worry. How are you xx

@aries94 heyy welcome xx I had spotting for 4 weeks. Its recently started easing off. I wrote about it a few pages back. Xx

@GoingGently I have a blood test booked but not to confirm although I don't know if they'll do that automatically since they're taking blood anyway? I have a history of low iron / folic acid so wanted my levels checking. X

Hi loves! Jumping on here! Due end of March or very beginning of April! Had an early scan on Thursday due to pain and prev miscarriage but all looks spot on thank god! Can't believe I'm actually on one of these rather than reading and being jealous x

Lorbs10 · 02/08/2021 06:39

Morning ladies,
I have woken up with a bit of a drop in my basal temp and a large amount of cloudy ish discharge (sorry TMI)
Is anyone else still tracking their temp and noticed fluctuations?
I’m probably worrying myself over nothing, but feeling a bit concerned 👎🏼

Cheekymonkey3112 · 02/08/2021 08:10

@lorbs10 is it still above the cover line? How many dpo are you? I stopped taking my temps when I got my bfp because I couldn't handle the stress. I did take it the other morning to be nosy and it was lower than my bfp temp but still above the coverline🤷‍♀️

Lalala1985 · 02/08/2021 08:19

@Lorbs10 I am, but I'm still only 4+3. There's some fluctuating but only by about 0.1C. The thing with BBT is that it's not very precise, if you have a drop it might just be that you slept with your mouth open.
I think the discharge is normal, I haven't had any yet but I read somewhere that you usually get a creamy discharge in pregnancy.

Lorbs10 · 02/08/2021 08:20

@Cheekymonkey3112 I’m 17 days po & it’s just below the cover line.
I’m going to stop taking it too, I just have another level of anxiety now…👎🏼

89redballoons · 02/08/2021 08:30

@GoingGently I don't think I was offered a blood test at the docs last time! I called my GP and they just said to get in touch with the community midwife. No one did any tests to confirm I was actually pregnant until my 12 week scan which felt a bit bizarre.

Thinking about going for an early private scan this time and then if it's looking OK telling at least family at that point. I waited until after the 12 week scan last time to tell everyone apart from DH but that seems so long now.

LadyBird2020 · 02/08/2021 09:09

@PlanABC @mummytoolive just joining this thread as I found out on Thursday that I'm pregnant after 2 losses
The lack of symptoms is definitely concerning me but trying hard to remember that everyone is different.
I had symptoms last time but it was a missed miscarriage so symptoms don't always necessarily mean good things. Not pain, no bleeding so hoping to be welcoming our baby in April too. Due between my mum and dads birthday! Must be a good sign (here's hoping anyway) x

PlanABC · 02/08/2021 09:20

Hi LadyBird2020 congratulations, I hope all goes well for you this time! I decided to do another pregnancy test (clearblue rapid detection) and the line seems stronger so I'm taking that as a good sign. Breasts are a little fuller again today but it's still very minor.. counting down to the 8 week scan 🤞 xx

LadyBird2020 · 02/08/2021 09:27

@PlanABC that is good news. It is so hard not to worry but then worrying isn't any good for you!
My friends didn't know she was pregnant until she was nearly 5 months. She was still having periods etc... & most people, so early on don't even know they are pregnant at this stage.
I had sore boobs in my first pregnancy but don't have them now. I think everyone and every pregnancy is different. The first 12 weeks is the hardest time. I can't wait to see I have a scan or bloods done just to make sure everything is going along ok.
I am sure you will be holding your baby come April. I hope you can relax a little soo. X

Summervibes040 · 02/08/2021 11:04

@Firstimer101 what are POAS? Thank you xx

Firstimer101 · 02/08/2021 11:20

Pee on a stick @Summervibes040. xxx

mimi19944 · 02/08/2021 13:30

I just found out im pregnant too! currently 4 weeks and 1 day. due date 10th April. its so exciting!! how do you girls manage the anxiety over miscarriage and whether everything will be okay?

PlanABC · 02/08/2021 13:41

@mimi19944 congratulations! I'm not managing it very well lol. Just counting down until my 8 week scan and distracting myself.. or trying to x

Derbee · 02/08/2021 13:50

Hi all. My EDD is 31st March 2022 and I have been so sick for a week. Can hardly eat, and basically slept 20 hrs/day over the weekend (did test on Friday).

I thought this was way too early for symptoms but I can’t believe how awful I feel. Just nauseous all day

Lorbs10 · 02/08/2021 16:03

Congratulations @mimi19944 😁

Admittedly I’m not really doing a great job of managing it 🙈
Kinda hoping as time goes on I’ll be able to relax a bit more and actually enjoy it!

J0lly · 02/08/2021 17:33

@mimi19944 congratulations!

I'm not doing well at managing it either. Very anxious.

I rang doc on Fri and had to drop a urine test in this morning. Guessing i just wait for them to get back to me now. I booked a private scan for 22nd Aug, I'll be 8 weeks by then. We plan to tell my dad and inlaws after that scan, all being well 🤞🏼

Boredinthehouse12 · 02/08/2021 19:14

@LadyBird2020 sorry to hear about your 2 miscarriages. I’ve had 2 as well so know how anxious you must feel. Hopefully we’ll have our rainbow baby come Spring
