@Derbee snap! I am one day before you Smile
Thinking about everyone. Anxiety is hard. It's definitely good to be busy/distracted.

LadyBird2020 · 02/08/2021 19:53

@Boredinthehouse12 thank you! Sorry to hear about your losses too! It's shocking how common miscarriages are and yet they are hardly ever spoken about.
I really hope so!! 🤞🏼it will be the best feeling! Wishing you all the luck in the world for this pregnancy to go smoothly x

coconutcurls · 02/08/2021 20:58

I've been away for the weekend and have missed loads of messages! Hope everyone is getting on ok and it's great to see so many new names on here!

Teenieweenie · 03/08/2021 02:15

Hey! I’m hoping to no one minds me joining this thread. @mummytoolive I have an almost 6 month old too and I was also born on my mums birthday!

I think I am due 30/31 March so 5+5. I’ve had irregular cycles due to breastfeeding! Have had a booking appointment but they’ve said to wait u til my 12 week scan comes through to confirm dates. Think I’ll get a private one in the meantime, I’ve not got any obvious symptoms. Only reason I did a test was because I had a meltdown which is so out off character! Grin

PinkCheetah · 03/08/2021 06:46

I would love to join this thread. Will be a first time mummy. Been super fortunate to get BFP on first TTC cycle. No symptoms yet but just so so happy! Only told my husband so far. EDD 10th April!

I have two weddings and a few socials this month too. Anyone know good excuses to tell people why I'm not drinking?

PinkCheetah · 03/08/2021 07:00

@Boredinthehouse12

They can be quite confusing can’t they! *@summertimes2021*

BFP - Big Fat Positive
2WW - 2 Week Wait
DH/DP - Dear Husband/Partner
MC - Miscarriage
MMC - Missed Miscarriage
FRER - First Response Early Result

I think these are the ones most commonly used on the pregnancy board x

Thank you! So useful!
LadyBird2020 · 03/08/2021 07:37

@PinkCheetah congratulations! I am due around the 9th/10th April too! I am the same. No symptoms as such yet.

I had a hen do on Saturday and used the excuse of driving.
Being on Antibiotics are always a good one
Doing a detox for 3 months before the Christmas drinking starts.... 🤣

Carolinesturn · 03/08/2021 09:24

@LadyBird2020 and @PinkCheetah I think my EDD is the 8th so I'm there with you guys. It seems likes way longer than a week since I found out but it's only been a week! This is going to be a longggg one.
So heavier cramps today with me but spotting hasn't returned. Is anyone else experiencing pale yellow, creamy white discharge?
I've not experienced any nausea yet but my mum says she never got morning sickness but then my sister did, maybe it'll come within the next couple of weeks

LadyBird2020 · 03/08/2021 09:36

@Carolinesturn congratulations.
I have slightly heavier discharge and it is making me nervous. I'm running to the loo to make sure I'm not bleeding each time.
My sister had the same thing.
I've not had any spotting but it is completely normal but if you're worried, give you EPU a call :) x

Hi everyone,

Congratulations to everyone that's just found out and welcome 💕

I'm still in the same predicament and still waitttting (the longest wait ever!!) for my scan on Thurs to find out what's happening (ectopic or not). I haven't had any further hip/pelvic pain but have had a sore back and some heartburn. Hoping it will be good news 🤞

@Carolinesturn I do have some creamy discharge too, not loads but do still feel like my period is coming x

J0lly · 03/08/2021 11:58

@PinkCheetah Congratulations!

I was a bridesmaid at the weekend. My husband was buying me soda water with a lime wedge and I just pretended I was on g&t... Not drinking would make my friends far too suspicious. Anytime I got offered a drink I pretended to have one at the table. Seemed to work 🙌🏼

chloehunt · 03/08/2021 12:26

Hey, I think I'm starting to get faint positives on my tests now, gonna test again in a few days! Really hoping for my rainbow!

arianasky · 03/08/2021 12:45

Hiya all, sorry haven't posted for a while, how is everyone feeling? I've booked a early scan for August 20th and will be 7+1 then anyone else booked or thinking of booking? I've had a lot of pain in my boobs the last two days and a bit of cramping for a few days makes me a little anxious but staying positive that it's just the normal cramps 🤞🏻 also the exhaustion is through the roof I'm struggling to keep my eyes open at work, anyone experiencing any nausea yet?

Lalala1985 · 03/08/2021 12:54

@arianasky I've booked fairly close to you aug 22 and I'll be 7+2. Feels like ages away.

If that all goes well I'll tell my manager. I'm not too bad on the tiredness/nausea front but I'm certainly feeling distracted, and if anything goes wrong I want the confidence I can just run off to the hospital without having to explain anything.

arianasky · 03/08/2021 13:03

@Lalala1985 I'm going to do the same let my manager known after the 7 week scan if everything goes ok 🤞🏻 I'm the same feel like my mind isn't on the job at the moment I'm just hoping these next three weeks fly by for us

Lalala1985 · 03/08/2021 14:55

@arianasky yeh, and it's all the reasonable adjustments, avoiding stress etc. I was bit worried and wanted to wait the 12 weeks, but given they can't discriminate against pregnant women, the sooner the better.

spookycookies · 03/08/2021 15:28

I've got my scan date through. 9th September. Ages away.

Nervyy · 03/08/2021 15:32

Hi girls can I join I got my BFP a few days ago at 9DPO. My due date is April 14th. I have a 22 month old boy. We started ttc baby #2 early this year but I have had a chemical and mc back to back this is my first cycle since my mc at11 weeks and im pregnant again I’m just hoping this little bean sticks ! Xx @Cheekymonkey3112 I see you mentioned earlier getting your bloods done I would also like to do this ... did you go ahead ? I had my first baby in Dubai and my obgyn was amazing I messaged her this morning and asked her if I should take progesterone just in case but she said there’s no proof it actually prevents a future mc once pregnant so I think I just need to have faith this will work out 🤞🏻🙏🥰

Nervyy · 03/08/2021 17:11

Cheekymonkey3112 · 03/08/2021 17:13

@FinnsMammy congratulations!! Are you still in Dubai? I'm jealous if u r!!

I ended up not getting bloods done privately, although I did check out medichecks website and they seemed quite reasonable although you'd need to do it twice to ensure your bloods are doubling. I got bloods done on the NHS last week as I had severe one sided pelvic/hip pain. My first lot at 19dpo were 1340 and I had a scan. They were thinking it could be ectopic as the scan was inconclusive and they couldn't see my ovaries due to too much bowel gas (aka I'm full of shit!). I got repeated bloods at 21dpo which were 3044 and I have a scan on Thursday to hopefully see a gestational sac/yolk sac/foetal pole. I am 5w3d today xx

needabreaknoww · 04/08/2021 07:03

Hi ladies! Can I join too? I remember when I had DD we all chatted in the group right until the end it was so lovely. I found out 2 days ago feeling very nervous third babyGrin I'm due around the 12th of April. Xx
