@jadey1991 you had a name change hun? Yes I'm in the same boat still have lots of bits i want to get but in reality... I'm almost there already because I've already had alot from previous pregnancies!
@catlady1234 Hi I had antenatal classes with my 1st pregnancy 10yrs ago now....but it was more informative with equipment they use in labour...forceps etc rooms,birthplace... Its not necessary for those who havnt been but its nice to go as a 1st time parent and meet people and see the hospital etc I thought they would show you how to bath a baby etc but they don't so some things you will still learn as you go lol I remember after giving birth and midwife left me and hubby alone we looked at our baby and were like "what do we do now" We hadn't even changed or held a newborn before our own lol 😅

So how fuu oh s anyone else get in with their glucose tests? - I just got my results today I passed with flying colors thank heavens - 112 - under 130 is normal - but my white blood count was high? OB said it’s normal in pregnancy anyone else with a similar result? 🤷🏼

@Curlymam88 I'm feeling rough and I'm 27 weeks. Passed out in my gestational diabetes test so I'm doing really well 😂

Has anyone else had sickness come back? Mine eased around the 24 week mark but is back with a vengeance on evenings 🤢

@LouLou0505 ive had the Anti D due to a bleed, due my next one next week. I had a sore arm for days as it goes into muscle. I let friends wind me up and say the injection was in the bum. Was a load of rubbish-it was in the arm. Stings a bit but no worse than the covid jab or whooping cough.

@JW2021 ive not had my results but I'm assuming they are okay as I was told if there was a problem they would ring me on the day. My test didn't go great, passed out when I had the second lot of bloods done due to being jabbed 5 times to get the blood flowing. I'm such a wimp with needles.

@Theawkwardblonde - thank you!! I don’t know why people feel the need to say scary things it just doesn’t make sense! I hated my whooping cough jab it stung like a bitch but was literally only for 15 seconds. So thank you for making me feel better!

And yes to the sickness, EVERY NIGHT!

I had the worst sleep last night, every hour I was awake because I had an awful pain in side my hip/bum cheek it was aching so so bad

Hello ladies, hope all is well. Just an update from me. I had a fall yesterday. Baby and I are okay. My arm and leg is sore as when I fell I landed in my arm. Ever since I fractured my left ankle in 2014 it gives way all the time.
That picture was me yesterday at 27+3.
Can't believe how quick it's going x

@jadey1991 oh no so scary, im glad you're both ok. Its hard work carrying our bumps around aswell as you said you had a bad ankle. Try rest up if you can.
Its going quick. This is me 28 weeks today, which means I'm in third trimester??
Had my growth scan and all my other appointments yesterday, baby is measuring normal so far. 2lb9 and is just above 50th percentile I think they said. Doctor also took my bloods to test for antibodies to see if id need the anti d injection and also gave me liquid iron to take. So hopefully I'll feel a bit better than I have been soon

Ive just started my 28th week too! I cannot believe we are going into our final trimester! It's insane how quick it's going.
I had my 28 week appointment on Monday and she measured my jump which measured a week ahead but everything else seemed fine. Just waiting on my blood test results.
Otherwise I'm feeling pretty okay, having some pelvic pain (feel like I've been kicked in the crotch 😂)

I also had my anti D injection today, and it was in the bum but it was over really quickly and stung just for a moment :)

Hmmmm what’s the Anti D injection?
I think in the US it’s called the T Dap for prevention of hooping cough?

Anti d is to do with blood types and if you have a different type to baby - we have a whooping cough jab here too

my gtt results came back normal but at my mw app the other day my blood pressure was
low (108 over 50) so I'm trying to eat a bit healthier to bring it up! I ordered some more Christmas pressies for our other children today and hoping to be fully done soon,its lovely but also a bit overwhelming buying for our 5 children this Christmas 😅
In our area people are going mad for fuel and queuing for hours! So I'm going to get a few bits in advance incase it gets worse in month or 2 time! How's everyone else doing 😊

I had my MW appointment today. Everything is ok. Blood pressure was good ,urine was good. Babies heartbeat was 150-155bpm. I am
Measuring where I should be at. I have booked my whopping cough vaccine for Tuesday. I also have to get my bloods done on Tuesday too. So glad everything is fine.

All is good here,I've ordered a blood pressure monitor so I can keep an eye on my levels... but I think its when I've been rushing around and forgot to eat properly! Ive got consultant call later today to discuss growth scans and birth plan but I feel so overwhelmed atm with so much thinking and planning to organise 😅 Got daughters 10th birthday end of this month so buying Dec's,pressies,cake etc then Halloween party for kids at home this year! I'm buying Christmas presents for our 5 so I can have them all wrapped up and finished in November,then there is our sons birthday beginning of December to organise and buy for while also trying to get new bits for baby! Now normally my brain is in gear and I could do all of this without any trouble but my heads not in it,scrambled 🤯 And too exhausted mentally and physically! I will get it all done but can't lie feeling the pressure! X

He is weighing what he should at this stage. At the moment he is weighing 2lbs 11oz.they are happy with his weight so that's good. I have my next growth scan on 2/11. I have my whooping cough vaccine tomorrow. 🤦🏽‍♀️slightly nervous but I'm sure I'll be ok.

@jadey1991 I had my whooping cough today and touch wood seem fine so far!

I finally had a midwife check and I’m measuring small, my blood pressure is low and I had a full set of bloods done to check my liver and my iron. I’ve heard nothing back so I presume all is ok but am going back at 31w not 34w to check all is ok.

Starting to feel abit worried about how much we haven’t done and how fast time is going!

@tuxedocat how small are you measuring? Oh that's reassuring.
Did they say god much baby weighs or not? I'm the same hun. I'm ordering t buggy tomorrow and still gotta get alot of things🤦🏽‍♀️
