@tuxedocat - yeah I get that!

We’ve got a lot of boys on the way around our family and friendship groups and talking to some of the girls they are worried someone might use the same name they’ve picked… now we know Jack is quite common and even if our best friends decided they wanted to use Jack we wouldn’t mind at all.

Do you feel like you want to hold back because you are worried someone might use it or not?

@tuxedocat yes girl I feel you on this heat. I can't take it. It rained for like 2 mins and then that was it. But it was still very hot🤦🏽‍♀️

@LouLou0505 yea we have 2 names. One of the names we have people take the piss. But we like the name although we are drawn between 2 names x

What names do you guys have in mind? Id like to stick with an L like my son..i like lyla lola lyle leona... not sure what the sex is yet though! Anyone have any suggestions for L x

@LouLou0505 I’m not sure! I think its because i want to feel certain when I see them, that they suit it. It always sounds silly when you say it but i would hate for people to get attached/hate a name before its set in stone you know?
I think names are what you want, and I’d hate to love a name - someone say they hate it and it either taint it or you change it and regret it.

@VickyB90 thats lovely. I think as well middle names are what we think of alot but no one else refers to them as that if you know what i mean!

I love names that end in a ... luella is one i love, lola is pretty as well! Lily/lillie is quite popular but pretty too. Olivia too its not an L but has a strong L in the name

@jade0881 oh gosh i think when it rains next we’ll all love it then be so sad. I love the warm but its unbearable. My sons room is 30* with the windows open and a fan on him 😩🔥

@VickyB90 I 2 boy names in mind. Josiah and jahlani. Sticking to the j's as me my partner and my 2 daughters begin with a j

I’ve not posted in a while but just read through the whole thread since i had last been on
An update on me- We’re having a baby girl…absolutely over the moon to finally be getting a little princess after 2 boys
Everything perfect so far with baby, however i’ve not been feeling great tbh. Sickness, dizziness, tiredness and headaches still lurking at 18w.
In saying that though, i’ve not felt 100% since having covid back in May so i reckon thats played a part, unfortunately this heat isn’t helping much now either
Anyway, heres my bump pic at 17+4

@WeeTeej88 hello hun, sorry to hear you ain't feeling great. Congratulations on finding out your having a girl. I'm the opposite. We found out we are expecting a boy. We have 2 daughters so we r over the moon. This heat isn't helping isit. To be fair I should be use to it as I had to summer babies before lol. It this time round I'm actually pregnant throughout summer🤦🏽‍♀️. When is your due date? I'm 17+4 today and baby due Xmas day xx

Thanks hun, i think its all just typical pregnancy symptoms and probably after affects from covid too as bloods tests and all are perfect.

Well my second was a summer baby but he was born early July so i’ve never been pregnant over summer either. Hard work eh? Lol.
My due date is 22nd Dec hun so 18w today 😊
Been feeling a lot of more stronger movements over the last week or so…exciting times 😃 xx

@WeeTeej88 yes hun that's right probs all symptoms. I'm still experiencing some myself. Thanks hun, had to find some usual names lol. My daughters names at the time was unusual but now I hear there names a lot but people spell it differently.. aww that's so sweet hun. To be honest I've already got some baby boy stuff. I couldn't help myself. lol. I've been feeling movement to. Yesterday he was dancing in my belly lol. Feels so strange to feel the movements Again as it's been so long but I love it. Xx

@MrsGxx hope you're getting on OK with the diabetes. I'm actually type 1 diabetic and it has been quite hard. I was having quite low sugars to start with but I've now got the libre sensor which tests yoir sugar constant which I find has really helped me.
In regards to Xmas shopping my DD8 is born 30th December so I've already made a start. I've had a few bits in the sale and kept them to one side.
I've also bought my first baby outfit today which was exciting and I've ordered the cot and wardrobe set and bought some paint for the babys room....just hope in 2 weeks time baby is still a girl 🤣

@Curlymam88 I am exactly the same brought lots of baby girl stuff my 20 week scan is in 2 weeks so hopefully she is a girl!!

My SS whos 3, his birthday is 31/12 so need to get prepped for Christmas and his birthday, December is going to be an expensive month from now on :P

@Curlymam88 omg don't I have my next scan on 11th august. I just hope the lady was right at my last scan. I've already got some boy things

@LAR96 yes December is going to be a pricey one from now on. X2 birthdays and x2 Christmases
I had a mini anxiety attack yesterday...I started to make a list of baby things we needed to get which obviously of all listed seems alot and started to freak out how we will afford baby, Xmas, and a birthday 🙈🤣 just seemed alot.
@jade0881 and @LAR96 can you imagine if they were previously wrong at our last scans?? I've kept the receipts just incase

Hahaha it seems we are all bad planners as my son is end of Nov, so it looks like for all of us it’ll be expensive times!

So worth it though. Think i mentioned previously we will consider a half birthday in the summer for them which might be an excuse for a garden party in the sun!

@tuxedocat for my DD we usually tend to go to the outdoor Ice skating for her 'party' it feels really Christmassy because they have the Xmas stalls and a fayre there but she enjoys the Ice skating and the rides. We've kind of made it tradition now for her birthday. (Apart from last year because of covid) and put party like Xmas nibbles on for her birthday day.

We have a name for her, Mila Jade, We have liked this name since we found out and it has still stuck with us, feel like she is already suited to Mila! Haha x

@LAR96 mila is a cute name. I had a few ideas for my baby girl but OH found reasons not to go for them. I think its going to be difficult for us to agree on one.

@Curlymam88 Haha, I feel the exact same, I have mentioned other names I like but he finds reasons not too, we both can agree on Mila so I think it is what we will stick with.

I love Matilda & Ameila & Eloise, however he doesnt :D x
