julzx · 20/09/2021 15:38

@jadey1991it went so slow at the beginning, i had COVID a few weeks ago and it made me really start to get organised as i was sitting in the house and i was like i dont even have a bottle nothing lol. Im very tired too and don't really have much appetite, i think that's partly covid related though, i keep forgetting my iron tablets that cant be helping either. I finish up work the last week in November so once i come back from holidays next week it will be October very scary stuff!

@zeromango that's the same as myself, im hoping its a more peaceful experience than the emergency one last time!

jadey1991 · 20/09/2021 15:45

@julzx aww bless you. How did u feel with the Covid! Was you ill for a long time?
Don't worry hun when my kids are at school I'm like what do I do with myself lol. So I can only imagine how u felt x

plantloveJolly · 20/09/2021 16:09

Hey guys!

Im 27 weeks tomorrow and struggling with back pain. It's on my right side, from lower to mid way up my back to kind of behind my boobs area. Anyone feeling similar with you backs?

13 weeks to go! Cannot wait ☺️

jadey1991 · 20/09/2021 16:35

@plantloveJolly aww bless you. Not long to go now. I wouldn't say I am suffering with it but now and then I get back pain. I mainly suffer with babies leg or arm in my rib cage and tiredness

Curlymam88 · 22/09/2021 13:42

Update from me...I came into hospital today for an iron infusion through a drip. However 5 mins into it and I pass out. Wake up to a woman shaking me and a crash team of about 10 people around me. They think I must have had a reaction to the iron. Im now up on a ward with fluids and observations because my blood pressure keeps dropping along with my blood sugar.
Hope everyone is doing better than me??

jadey1991 · 22/09/2021 14:31

@Curlymam88 oh my goodness hun.. you was clearly poorly...oh my goodness I'm so glad you was at the hospital when this happened. Shit.. how are you feeling now? What are the doctors saying? How long you there for?

I'm doing okayish.. I'm probs gonna go up to a&e because there is something wrong with my right foot. Doctors called me yesterday trying to diagnose me over the phone telling me it's inflamed and I should take paracetamol but I told her that isn't gonna do anything 🤦🏽‍♀️doctors can be useless sometimes. And there's more But anyway forget about me. I'm worried about you.

I hope baby is well. X

Curlymam88 · 22/09/2021 14:52

Im ok.now. They think I had a reaction to the iron drip so I'm going to try liquid iron instead. Think they're just keeping me in for a bit to be on safe side. Hopefully when I've finished my fluids I can go home though. Been here since half 10 this morning. Baby is fine thanks, they did check her heart with doppler once I came round.
@jadey1991 what have you done to your foot? Have you twisted it or something? Could it be something like gout? Hope you're ok.

SouthwestSis · 22/09/2021 15:07

@jadey1991 sorry to hear about your foot but doesn't sound like an accident or an emergency....
I'd just ask for a face to face appointment with your GP or call 111. A&Es are completely swamped at the moment.

Glad to hear you're feeling OK now @Curlymam88, fingers crossed they get you home later.

jadey1991 · 22/09/2021 15:10

Aww bless you hun. I'm so happy to hear everything is fine.
No I haven't twisted my ankle. I mean I twisted it a little while ago now but my foot is hurting right under the arch and into my toes. It's not changing colour or anything.

jadey1991 · 22/09/2021 15:16

@SouthwestSis
Yes I will defo ask for a face to face

Curlymam88 · 22/09/2021 15:16

I used to have a bad arch when I used to walk alot and never wore tidy trainers for walking. Have you tried a foot support. I remember I used to pit deep freeze gel on mine which helped a bit. I think that's still safe to use in pregnancy?

jadey1991 · 22/09/2021 15:21

@Curlymam88 yeah I've tried the foot support and it isn't doing great. The doctor told me not wear flat shoes. She advises me to wear trainers(which I do) and to walk alot(which I do) but if my foot is inflamed(so she says) why would you recommend I walk lots🤦🏽‍♀️ then on top of that to take paracetamol 🤦🏽‍♀️I don't know... x

Curlymam88 · 22/09/2021 15:28

Yea cushioned trainers. I was wearing like flat converse ones when I went walking 🙈 do you have a minor injuries unit near you? I remember going there and they done xrays on my foot.

Curlymam88 · 22/09/2021 15:29

And surely the doctor can diagnose your foot over the phone? Unless he was face timing you?? 🙈

Curlymam88 · 22/09/2021 15:29

Cant I mean x

JW2021 · 22/09/2021 15:48

Ok ladies I’m due dec 25 how many of you have already bought your Stoller’s & had them delivered? My mum back in the day said it was unlucky to have the ‘pram’ delivered until baby arrives……help !!!

jadey1991 · 22/09/2021 16:14

@Curlymam88 yeah I have my local a&e but I know I'll probs be waiting there for a long time and then b transferred to minors. And that's what I'm thinking they can't diagnose me over the phone without seeing me. Xx

jadey1991 · 22/09/2021 16:16

@JW2021 I'm due the same day as u and I will be getting my parm in Oct.. I wouldn't wait till baby arrives. That's my opinion. I like to make sure I have everything lol
