@JW2021 glad to hear the appointment went well. I'm 24+2. My next appointment isn't until 28 weeks. I'm getting bloods taken at that one I assume to test my iron and possibly glucose levels? I'm otherwise doing fine except for my niggling upper thigh nerve pain I've had for over a month now. It's bearable as long as I don't walk or sit for too long.

tuxedocat · 12/09/2021 08:07

@2020mission I feel you on the nerve pain. I’ve got some sciatica on my right side which gets worse when I run. I’ve been taken to YouTube stretches which help stretch it out a little

jade0881 · 13/09/2021 12:19

Hello beautiful ladies how are well all doing and how are your bumps?

@tuxedocat awww look at your baby bump. So sweet and small. How are u feeling

OP posts:
tuxedocat · 13/09/2021 16:11

@jade0881 thanks lovely! I feel tired. I think I’ve got low iron I need to get it checked I think. I’ve got some hip pain and feel like an old lady! Other than that I feel pretty good. How are you?

jade0881 · 13/09/2021 16:12

This is me at 25+2 days

OP posts:
jade0881 · 13/09/2021 16:14

@tuxedocat aww bless you hun, I've been really tired since being 6months. I'm constantly sleeping. Is the hip pain due to being pregnant?

OP posts:
tuxedocat · 13/09/2021 17:25

@jade0881 bump looks lush! Yeah I think so. I had pelvic pain with my son but this time it’s always on the right. I’ve been trying to stretch it out so I wonder if she’s sat on a nerve or something! I’ve been over doing it a lot so that probably doesn’t help, it’s not so easy to rest when you have other kids is it?

jade0881 · 13/09/2021 17:35

@tuxedocat thanks hun, I feel really big with him. I think he is gonna be a big baby.
Oh don't baby has been laying on a nerve and it's affects my left leg. So I have sleepless nights. You are so right about it being non stop with other kids. I mean mine are at that age now where they can do things themselves especially my 13 year old daughter but of course my 7 year old still needs some attention.

Curlymam88 · 13/09/2021 17:45

@tuxedocat I've been feeling the same since this weekend. Tired, migraines, out of breath and dizzy. I think its to do with my iron aswell. I have a hospital appointment tomorrow so I'm hoping they can test me then. I've been told about the blood tube shortage and midwife said they may not test me!!
Heres my bump at 25+2 on the weekend. Ill be 26 weeks on Wednesday. Time is going so fast.
Everyone's bumps look so lovely, I love seeing the photos. Im glad everyone is doing ok Smile

jade0881 · 13/09/2021 18:29

@Curlymam88 awww look at your bump.. you look lovely. everyone is growing so beautifully.. yes I've heard of the blood tube shortage too. Hoping things will turn around too.

Aww bless u hun, seems like you got it all. Hopefully you get better soon.

tuxedocat · 13/09/2021 19:50

@jade0881 oh so intriguing how big were your girls? Did you feel big with them? Isn’t it funny how it all changes. It always seems go around our house! Even though he’s pretty good it’s never sitting down for more than 5 before I’m back up 😂

@Curlymam88 oh lush bump! I’ll be there in 2 weeks and I’ve got some iron supplements I’ll take in the meantime. I’ve been shedding hair quite a big which is usually a sign for me too. Pregnancy is not always fun is it!?

jade0881 · 13/09/2021 20:05

My eldest was 6.1 and my youngest for now was 7.6. I did carry big with them both but I carried a lot of water whereas with little man I don't think I'm carrying a lot of water with him. Aww bless u.

@Curlymam88 how have you managed to keep your belly bar in 😅 mines was out by week 22 too sore and button was becoming an outie.

Everyone's bump looks great. I don't think I can share mines it's not so nice... I've got a flat front on the bump where my belly button is 😂 bizarre

Curlymam88 · 13/09/2021 21:10

I feel massive! @2020mission it's a maternity bar 😄 the bar is like a soft flexible material. It has 2 little baby feet with pink stones on it too 🤣 the front of my bump feels a little flat too.

burtle4 · 13/09/2021 22:15

Lovely bumps ladies! My belly button is a proper outie now 😂 feeling just like I did with my other boy - all out front and it's so tight, like I've swallowed a football! When I was pregnant with DD my bump was more all around so I could still bend and move quite easily. Strange how they say girl bumps are different to boy bumps but it's definitely true for me!

jade0881 · 13/09/2021 22:42

@2020mission oh stop it girl show it off. My belly button starting to pop out too lol

OP posts:
jade0881 · 13/09/2021 22:43

@burtle4 yes I agree. I was really round with my girls. And very high. This time round I carrying low

OP posts:
tuxedocat · 14/09/2021 07:46

@burtle4 @2020mission for the most part my belly button is like an outie too! I’m starting to stretch on it where my old piercing was which happened with my son.

@jade0881 your girls were lovely weights! My son was 6lb 12oz so I’m hoping little lady is similar!

So far my bump seems the same kind of shape as my sons. I wonder if it will change the further I get. I think it’s a little lower but I always thought the old wives tale was carry high with a girl low with a boy but I might be wrong!

jade0881 · 14/09/2021 08:37

@tuxedocat thanks hun. They said that my eldest daughter who was 6.1 was apparently small. That's why I have to go for growth scans with little man.
I think you look pretty high to me. And yeah I believe that old wives tale to

OP posts:
tuxedocat · 14/09/2021 10:00

@jade0881 it can’t hurt to have extra scans! I had one at 38w with my son as they said I was measuring small the whole time but I was just all baby!
I can’t believe I’ll be 26weeks this week. A friend of a friend of mine had a baby at 26weeks and it makes my mind blow when there’s a perfectly formed (but small!) baby there at this gestation

jade0881 · 14/09/2021 10:13

@tuxedocat of course not. I would love to see him again. Lol.. aww I'm 26 weeks on Saturday.
Oh no really? Is the baby okay?
I was born premature. I think I was 8 weeks premature when my mum had me.
This is the time we all start relaxing and having our feet up lol...

I get braxton hicks now and then. Ive also noticed baby keeps laying on my bladder 🤦🏽‍♀️

OP posts:
tuxedocat · 14/09/2021 10:26

@jade0881 yes baby is doing well now he’s 6 months! Wow, isn’t it funny how we take for granted they won’t come early. I feel slightly more in the need to get some things ready now, I can’t believe how fast we are approaching 30 weeks!

I’ve been having some braxton hicks here or there too. I forget how uncomfortable they are!

Hello there, Loulou0505
If it’s any consolation we love the name Jack that’s what our little one is going to be called too! Short sweet and couldn’t be cuter although secretly I think hubby’s naming it after his favorite whiskey!
