@Peppercorn2021 I told my manager a few weeks ago, even though I'm wfh I thought I might feel worse symptom wise and thought it would be best my manager understands why if I had to take any time off. We've got a good relationship so I didn't mind telling him. Also wasn't sure if it would affect me going back into the office, now I'm not comfortable going back until I get my second vaccine so just helps that he knows and understands why

overtherainbo · 15/07/2021 09:29

@Peachi82 good luck with your scan. I've had so much watery discharge and presumed it was normal.

I hope you get the best possible outcome 🙏🏼

feb2022 · 15/07/2021 09:51

@Peachi82 good luck for your scan today!
I've also had lots of watery discharge I'm pretty sure it's quite common

@Peachi82 good luck for today

feb2022 · 15/07/2021 10:03

@whistlers beautiful scan! Very clear too!
Makes me very exited to have my first scan although I'm patiently waiting for my 12 week scan... so 4 weeks to goooo!

Hope2022 · 15/07/2021 10:58

@Peachi82 hope scan goes well!x

WinsAndNeedles · 15/07/2021 11:00

I'm so jealous of all these beautiful scans! My appointment came through for my 12w scan yesterday and it's not for a month! This past month has been the longest month in all eternity. Another month is going to feel like a lifetime!

Sleepyquest · 15/07/2021 11:30

I'm getting some pinching feelings low down today - is this normal do we think? I'm 11+2

Erinrose82 · 15/07/2021 11:37

Lovely scans ... I had one last week at 10 weeks was lovely to see ... next on nhs on the 26th.
I've had the pinching feeling too .. 12 weeks on Saturday. Apparently it's the uterus stretching out and up xx

Peppercorn2021 · 15/07/2021 11:45

@sycamore89 - same, I'm thinking of waiting until 12 week scan... But if my scan comes through on a complicated work day I might tell him so I can definitely attend. I know he'll be supportive, it just feels a bit too soon atm.

Also interested to hear bra advice! My boobs are popping out of everything haha. Especially sports bras.

@choccrumpet - I'm wfh too, but wondering whether to tell them sooner... I may just end up blurting it out in our next meeting! We have a meet up which may fall around my scan date so will make the call then I think. Got my 2nd vaccine coming up in a few weeks too.

@Mamaux - that sounds tough. Do you get a good sense from your manager? Is anyone else pregnant at work atm? Smile

Midwife just called and booked my appointment in for tomorrow... then called seconds later and cancelled because I wasn't actually in Ivory group, I'm in Willow....

Someone will apparently call me from the willow team to arrange!

10 weeks tomorrow and I'm definitely getting wider. I can't stop eating.

Thanks Ladies! Will have to set off soon to the hospital as parking is a nightmare. Very very anxious.

overtherainbo · 15/07/2021 11:57

@Winnie87 that scan is so lovely, you can see all the little features 😍

So nice to see all the scans. So amazing to see little hands and feet at this stage 🥰 my nhs scan was meant to be next weekend but I pushed it back a week so I’ll be around 13 weeks by the time I have it. But just thinking that then reduces the wait to the 20 week scan and will be nice to see baby as I enter the second trimester! We are so close now … I remember clearly waking up in week 15 with my first and feeling suddenly very normal. Can’t wait for that to happen! You forget what it feels like to not be walking around in a thick fog all the time and then once it lifts you’re like ‘ohhhh this is what it’s like to feel normal!’ 😂

Sunshine8888 · 15/07/2021 13:30

Keeping 🤞🏻 for good news @Peachi82

overtherainbo · 15/07/2021 14:17

I keep checking for an update @Peachi82

Hope2022 · 15/07/2021 14:43

@Winnie87 bet it was lovely to see baby kicking about 😍

Peachi82 · 15/07/2021 14:58

All looking good! I'm so relieved!
Embryo did some good growing, strong heartbeat, consultant is happy (and so am I).

This full bladder thing is so going on my tits and I always struggle to drink enough (and keep it in). Today I have managed to overfill my bladder, so she couldn't see anything - haha.
She did then an internal scan anyway, so I was allowed to go to the toilet.

overtherainbo · 15/07/2021 15:08

@Peachi82 amazing, I'm so relieved to hear. Did you get a photo? I'm obsessed with seeing them grow 😍

miniGmummy · 15/07/2021 15:31

@Winnie87 I had the same on Monday, I am back in next Monday. Get to see the little one swimming about again :D

whistlers · 15/07/2021 15:44

I think my hormones are making me more angry than I should be, but, my next door neighbours, who are fully grown men, are playing shooty, explosiony, loud, bangy games on their sodding TV which is right up against our joining wall.

Shut up!

overtherainbo · 15/07/2021 15:47

I've caught a bug of some sort. I'm so lethargic and sore. Headaches, sneezing, runny nose, sore throat.

I've even googled if it would cause problems with the pregnancy. Maybe the pressure of sneezing would impact my haemorrhage. I can't wait for it to be over
