@feb2022 I'm so glad that someone else has the same thought process as me haha (well not really, it's terrible to live with isn't it)

@becarefuloutthere thank you so much, not long now. Sooner I'm in the better I will feel (hopefully)

@Peachi82 thank you so much, yes I had a letter saying my scan photos are £4 and they don't give change haha!!

feb2022 · 03/08/2021 11:45

@Peachi82 yeah there are 12 months between them it's bloody hard work 😅
I keep having these pangs of absolute terror about having 3 of them so close... but I'll just knuckle down and get it done! 😂
I was told I had more chance of winning the lottery than conceiving naturally and 7 years of trying so I'll be forever grateful for my little people, as hard as they are (fighting as we speak) it is lovely is so soooo many ways

Hi guys has anyone had their Down syndrome results back. I am 20 and I've got mine back today they came back at 1 in 905 although this is classed as low risk this seems high to me. Just interested in what you ladies got :)

glasspaw · 03/08/2021 12:45

I’ve not heard about them charging for scan pictures. Weird that they’re encouraging cash in this climate. I barely ever had cash anymore!

It doesn’t say anything about it on my letter - maybe I should take cash just in case though?

becarefuloutthere · 03/08/2021 13:28

£3 and £4 for scan pics, I'm getting robbed in London 😂 it's £5!

Peachi82 · 03/08/2021 13:40

I've created the Facebook group. It's private as I don't want anyone to see it!
If anyone wants adding, please send me a message with your name and I'll add you to the group.

Winterfellismyhome · 03/08/2021 14:36

£5 for pics here too! South London

@Winterfellismyhome I'm SE London. We're not too far apart!

overtherainbo · 03/08/2021 16:17

Little update, I got two free today. Not sure why when the letter says to bring cash haha.

Baby was so naughty and refused measurements for ages. This was the best we got 😂

overtherainbo · 03/08/2021 16:49

@Winterfellismyhome they said they have only just managed to get it and are happy, that didn't fill me with confidence🙈!

feb2022 · 03/08/2021 17:04

@overtherainbo awww hello little bub!
Glad everything went ok for you gorgeous little bean!
Haha your gonna have a cheeky one then 😜

becarefuloutthere · 03/08/2021 17:58

@overtherainbo yay so glad all went well and baby behaved eventually.
@Winterfellismyhome we moved here 4 years ago, moving out soon to go bk to where I'm from which is bucks. Can't wait!

overtherainbo · 03/08/2021 18:10

Thank you @feb2022 they spoke about my anxiety with me with a consultant and recommended going back on meds and therapy. I said I don't think I would be comfortable going on meds but would look into the therapy

Thank you @becarefuloutthere I'm on a high, I was in hospital 4.5 hours with the scan, consultant then a dietician. I'm worn out haha 😂

Peachi82 · 03/08/2021 18:23

So happy for you overtherainbo! ❤

overtherainbo · 03/08/2021 18:29

Thank you @Peachi82 🤍🌈

Rmw99 · 03/08/2021 18:37

Rmw99 · 03/08/2021 18:39

@peachi82 messaged you x

Trinacham · 03/08/2021 19:23

We got 3 free scan pics here too. I was confused as it said on the letter to bring £5 and also had a sign in the scan room displaying the sameConfused

becarefuloutthere · 03/08/2021 21:33

@overtherainbo wow that's long! Glad everything's ok tho! We've booked the day off for ours, hoping to buy our first baby item afterwards 🤞🏾and have a nice lunch.
Defo do therapy if you can, it'll only help after all!

How odd with the free scans even tho the letter has a change, hope we get lucky and it's free too! I wonder if it's free to those they like 😆

@babyD20

Hi guys has anyone had their Down syndrome results back. I am 20 and I've got mine back today they came back at 1 in 905 although this is classed as low risk this seems high to me. Just interested in what you ladies got :)
@babyd20 Mine came back similar, my Edwards and Patau was about 1 in 14,000 so the Downs one stood out even though they said low risk to me also. My nuchal measurement was low and the scan was fine so it must be something with my PAPP A or free bhcg - I've asked for a breakdown of these as on my Badger app it really just said low risk with no details.

I think I might get a private harmony test for a more definitive answer. My scan was also pretty late, I was dated at 14 weeks, and apparently the Downs is better done between 12 and 13 weeks with the combined test the NHS uses.

Anyone else have any advice on what they've been told?

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 04/08/2021 07:57

@babyD20 sorry I should have said in my message below that I think the result is fine, I am just neurotic! My partner is really happy with it, as it effectively means only a fraction of a percent chance. It is actually pretty low risk which is why the NHS aren't wasting more funds looking into it.

Sleepyquest · 04/08/2021 09:21

We had to pay £5 per pic! So £15!

Does anyone else feel not pregnant?

feb2022 · 04/08/2021 09:32

@Sleepyquest I feel like I've constantly got the flu but no deffo not a full blown pregnant feeling!
I can't wait for the second trimester it was my favourite part in my last pregnancies, I had so much more get up & gooo!
I just feel half dead at the moment 😅
