Hi exciting stuff I'm 13 weeks today and I've booked my private gender scan for 16 weeks so literally 3 weeks away today! Interested to know who else is going private to find out the gender or who is just waiting until their 20 week scan

Peachi82 · 01/08/2021 08:17

I'm even waiting until the baby is born! Grin

Peppercorn2021 · 01/08/2021 08:28

We're waiting until baby is born too @Peachi82 Smile

Mamaux · 01/08/2021 09:08

Is anyone in maternity clothes yet? All of my normal clothes are getting uncomfortable but the maternity clothes just look silly. I'm 13 +2 x

Mamaux · 01/08/2021 09:09

@babyD20 I'm planning on a private gender scan. Purely because my 15 year old can come along and I want him to feel a part of it all x

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 01/08/2021 12:32

@Mamaux I just bought a couple of maternity leggings and bras because my stomach is ten inches bigger and bobbles on jeans weren't working anymore. I'm 13 weeks also. I have a couple of fibroids though, not huge ones, but wondering if that's why I'm bigger or if it's normal. This is my first

Sunshine8888 · 01/08/2021 13:20

13 weeks today! Hello second trimester! Just off to get my first covid vaccine 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 I’m doing the right thing

choccrumpet · 01/08/2021 14:30

@Mamaux I'm 10+5 and bought some maternity leggings to wear around the house for now as normal joggers fit me but are a little uncomfortable. If my 12 week scan next goes well (I know, I'll only be over 11 weeks) then I'll treat myself to a bra fitting & new comfy bras, maybe some maternity ones depending on what they suggest. Have been living in bralettes and have no bras that fit me anymore. Otherwise I've been living in dresses when going out

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 01/08/2021 15:10

@choccrumpet the Seraphine maternity and nursing bras are pretty comfy. They have some lace ones too so not all ugly

nancynan · 01/08/2021 15:11

I am 11+3 today. Delaying my 2nd dose until I am 14 weeks.

choccrumpet · 01/08/2021 15:26

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I think I keep getting fb ads about that brand, I'll look into it although I think I still need to get measured and figure out what size I am first 😓

Jordanx · 01/08/2021 17:46

@Mamaux Me! I'm 12 weeks and 4 days. I'm huge, went to a christening today and someone actually said "oh you mustn't have long left" Shock

CaramelWaferAndTea · 01/08/2021 20:10

I’ve bought some maternity clothes from Isabella Oliver in the sale as I know they fitted last time but currently still in my jeans 🤞 it lasts…

I’ve had my booking appointment and now have a scan every week for 3 weeks between my private viability scan before the Harmony test, NHS 12 week scan and private 12 week scan! By the end of it I’ll also know whether it’s XX or XY which I’m also quite excited to know 😬

Trinacham · 01/08/2021 20:25

The joys of having an older sister and sister-in-law! I have a whole 2 sacks full of maternity clothes from them that they've been excitedly saving for my turn 🥰
@Jordanx glad I'm not the only one! Is this your first or? It's my first and all I ever read is I won't show yet. I definitely am! (14 weeks)

Jordanx · 01/08/2021 20:27

@Trinacham I'm starting to dread the size of me at full term haha. No this is my second baby xx

Jellybean8 · 02/08/2021 07:56

Those of you with Badger Notes how did you get invited to your 12 week scan? Did you get a letter or did the appointment just appear on your app?

Winterfellismyhome · 02/08/2021 08:06

@Jellybean8 i got a letter and then the appointment appeared

Hey ladies!

I’m definitely transitioning into maternity clothes but some things are massive, it’s a really awkward stage isn’t it!
My boobs are way too big for some of my tops/dresses that I’d usually wear this time of the year 🙈 And denim shorts are a no go! 😂

This is my 2nd baby, 3rd pregnancy so I’m definitely showing.. I’m definitely more bloated by the end of the day and look more 6 months pregnant 🙈😂
I’m pretty sure I was nearer 20weeks when I started to really show with #1!

Im 12+5 today! My LO can’t wait to find out if baby is the girl she’s longing for, so think I’ll definitely book an early scan so she can be part of the journey because otherwise she won’t be able to experience any of the scans. I feel that we’re lucky partners can attend NHS scans at the moment 😊

overtherainbo · 02/08/2021 09:13

I've lost pretty much all symptoms. I'm 12+4, I have my dating scan tomorrow. I can't help but feel really nervous. Ahh

feb2022 · 02/08/2021 09:19

I'm 10+4 and not showing exactly but just feel an extra bit podgy at the bottom of my tummy 😂
I'm wearing joggers 90% of the time now and 10% I'm in pjs that's all I feel comfortable with at the moment

decafforme · 02/08/2021 09:23

Hi all,

Just trying to catch up, welcome and congratulations to all the newbies too :)

I'm in mat clothes, well jeans anyway. I took my jeans out of wadrobe the other day and replaced them with mat jeans with were in storage from dc1. Their a bit big still but my normal jeans are a no go.

I'm the same by evening my bump is definitely noticeable! Still feeling sick if I don't eat often enough but haven't been sick for a week or so, hoping the nausea stops soon too. Think it was about 15wks completely with dc1 and I'm 14 tomorrow.

Appointment just appeared on my app, and with very limited details! Not even where I need to go, just the time. I got a text message for my booking in appointment, but nothing since then
babyD20 · 02/08/2021 11:34

I've read a few different opinions on hair dye while pregnant. I want to dye my hair just a box dye this week but I'm nervous to. Currently 13 weeks. What's your opinion on this ladies 🤍

feb2022 · 02/08/2021 11:49

@babyD20 my midwife told me in my last pregnancy that any dyes with no ammonia in are the safer options, I've dyed my hair during pregnancy and I don't have a problem with it
The garnier Olia ones are the ones that I've used before
Sometimes the hormones can interfere with how the dye reacts though so just keep that in mind it might go brighter or not work as well as it would have pre pregnancy haha!
It's a gamble 😅

WhingyNinja · 02/08/2021 12:17
