I'm having my first jab today and very nervous, please can I have positive stories? X

@Sleepyquest you should be okay, lots of women on this thread and others have had their jabs during pregnancy, including myself. I'm getting my second one next week and I'm looking forward to it more than anything else. Take paracetamol if you're feeling unwell or have a sore arm.

@whistlers oh gosh I don't have that in my notes I don't think, and I mentioned my age and she said she sees tons of first time mums older than me

@LKB89 I'm so so sorry for your loss. It's even harder and confusing when you have had a the comfort of seeing the heartbeat.

Yes I found that awful too. Everyone says after seeing the heartbeat they can relax. Not the case for many of us

I am so so so so nauseous sometimes I wish I just get sick and then it's better for a few hours.

I need to pick my son up in an hour from nursery and I don't feel able to look after him.

Morning all, sorry I have been a AWOL for the past couple of weeks.

Unfortunately we lost our bean last Tuesday, at 9 weeks on my 32nd birthday, after seeing the heartbeat at 7.5 weeks. Guess that 2 week of brown spotting for me was never 'normal'

Devastated doesn't compare, don't know how or if I'll ever get over it.

Wanted to wish you all a very happy, safe pregnancy and lots of luck for the future, I'm going to leave the forum shortly.

@Peachi82 I've just sent DH to pick up my prescription for cyclizine. I'm in such a mess, I've barely moved for the past 3 days. I was nothing like this with the other 2.

Glad to see there are a few more golden girls in the group! Tbh I don't feel that old but I think I will when I start seeing all the young couples at the clinic. I've decided to get my tubes tied this time. I definitely can't do this again!

I have just filled out an econsult asking for some medication. I hope they can issue a prescription today.
It was the same with my son (until he was born.....), but I kind of coped without medication. I don't know how I did it.

I don't think we will try again in case I miscarry again :-( I really struggle with the first trimester, I'm so anxious, tired, sick. I can't take this again :-( My mental health is really bad.
So hoping the bean develops.

So I’m 12+2 today, eagerly waiting for my nhs scan at the weekend. At this point with my first baby, i had already had NIPT, found out the gender and private scan so it all feels very unknown this time!

Just need to share something funny.

I gave my friend a set of child locks for kitchen cupboards etc and I've just seen that she's listed it on Facebook marketplace 😂

I'm desperate to ask our friends whether they kept our sleepyhead and the belt adapter for the car that keeps the belt away from your bump. And the little angel bath seat.

But I need the 12 week scan first.

(I've not had much luck with the fetal doppler yet. Given that even our heart beats are not loud loud, I'm not worried it doesn't pick up anything as of yet. After all it was just a cheap thing of ebay.)
