@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 thank you hun! I was really good at drinking juice but found this last week it was making me feel a little icky so not had any.. will definitely try to have some over the weekend and I’ve just bought some weetabix this week too!! Not actually had any yet.. 🙈 ☺️
I try really hard this week with dietary changes and if it doesn’t work I may need to result to stool softeners 🙈 Haha what a conversation in The morning!!

Can’t say I’ve experienced the lump thing, probably muscles etc moving and stretching? The female body is a marvellous thing and changes a lot.. 🤩

feb2022 · 24/07/2021 10:06

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I've been feeling a little bit of movement the last couple of days, like little popping sensation on my right side it's my 3rd and I thought I was imagining it but nope it's deffo a small little bean

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 24/07/2021 10:08

@Hope2022 we've gotten to the point where my partner is talking about my bowel movements 🙈😂 its all very sexy.

I was wondering if it's a hernia at first but the don't move I don't think. Very bizarre, prob just normal shifting muscles then 🤷‍♀️

@Peachi82 oh no that sounds awful

Ahh you can feel already, that's amazing!

I can't feel anything, it's just a weird hard lump poking out when I'm laying down and only sometimes. I'm also only 12 weeks, I think I'm behind you

feb2022 · 24/07/2021 10:30

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 haha no I'm only 9+2 but I felt very early with my last pregnancy at around 13 weeks... honestly I feel like I'm going mad and imagining it
Last night I was laying on my back and I felt the little popping sensation again so I used my Doppler exactly where I could feel it and found the heartbeat straight away so deffo a little bean 🥰

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 24/07/2021 10:36

@feb2022 oh wow that is amazing, and that you could hear them on the Doppler

WinsAndNeedles · 24/07/2021 11:01

@feb2022 oh, I need to get a Doppler! Which one have you got?

feb2022 · 24/07/2021 11:04

It's this one xx

Due February 2022 (thread 2)
jody97xo · 24/07/2021 11:09

Morning everyone! Smile I’m a newbie to all this but thought I’d join instead of just reading along! I’m 11+4 due on 8th Feb. First pregnancy, unplanned but extremely welcomed ❤️ Started suffering with constant sickness around week 6 and was prescribed cyclizine hydrochloride which I’m still taking now - has anyone had experience with this medication? I find that if I skip a tablet it doesn’t affect me until the day after with constant sickness and unable to keep anything down. Hoping to try and lower the dose gradually now that I’m coming up to 12 weeks. Also have the constant feeling of a lump in my throat, as though I need to swallow but it doesn’t go away when I do, maybe indigestion or heartburn?

Anyway, congratulations everyone. All my love to you all xxx

Hope2022 · 24/07/2021 12:06

@jody97xo welcome and congratulations 🎉 Hope the sickness eases soon for you!!

@feb2022 that’s amazing!!

glasspaw · 24/07/2021 12:10

Early scan this morning at 10 weeks. Measuring well, strong heartbeat and saw a bit of movement! Such a relief.

Hope2022 · 25/07/2021 00:37

@glasspaw fabulous!! Glad your scan went well!! ☺️

Jellybean023 · 25/07/2021 10:56

@babyD20

Is anyone else really nervous for their 12 week scan, I have mine on Thursday and I'm so nervous they won't find anything haha!! Xx
I remember this exact feeling with my first. I went along to my scan convinced there’d be nothing there.

My symptoms are also easing. It’s very unnerving!

CNMP · 25/07/2021 11:50

Hi guys, I finally found the second thread 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Just a little update from me. I had some brown discharge at 7weeks and was referred for an early scan at my hospital at 8weeks. Relieved to say it all went well and we heard and saw the heartbeat.

Since, I have been up and down with my symptoms, including terrible migraines and the sickness ramping up. I do find I have waves with some days feeling great, and other days not so much.

Yesterday I had pain in both legs which apparently can be because of my growing uterus. All fun and games haha.

I’ve had both my pre-booking and booking in appointment with my midwife and my 12 week scan is booked for the 5th August. Excited but super nervous all at the same time!
I’ve also been referred to a specialist for my migraines as I’m experiencing 2 a week and it’s just unbearable. I’m currently in a vicious cycle of not eating because of the sickness and this triggers my migraines. Hoping everything starts to calm down soon and my hormones settle - I look like a 15 year old with all my spots 😂😂

Super glad I found the thread again - missed having a group to ask random pregnancy questions too 😂 xx

feb2022 · 25/07/2021 11:55

@CNMP omg Ive had migraines too!
I never had them with my previous pregnancies but my word they are debilitating! I've had one for 5 days in a row but I'm gonna have a word at my booking In appointment hopefully this week, they are making me feel so sick I've been using one of those forehead roll on things which helps a tiny bit but nothing miraculous!
Also drinking about 3 litres of water a day also not helping, I honestly cried with it last night they are so bad
I hope your ok because honestly I feel your pain 😭

Hope2022 · 25/07/2021 12:11

I’m such a moody person right now and I can’t snap out of it.. I think the 5 days of constipation, poor sleep and nausea ramping up recently could be to blame.. I’m annoying myself now! Let alone everyone else 🤦🏼‍♀️

CNMP · 25/07/2021 12:20

@feb2022 they are awful aren’t they! I was taking migraleve, and my doctor said I could continue throughout pregnancy but I just don’t want to. I’ve managed to ease them with a dark room and a wet cold flannel on my face. But mine are aura so I get the dodgy sight and numbness and that’s the worst. Just nothing I can do! Definitely speak to your midwife and ask to see someone about them. Apparently they can get worse in the 3rd trimester as hormones ramp up again 😞 xx

jody97xo · 25/07/2021 12:35

Honestly I’m the exact same! Can’t shift my mood at all and I know I’m being a nightmare at home but can’t snap out of it 🤦🏼‍♀️ I feel exhausted and so sick all the time so that definitely doesn’t help!
JourneyToParenthood · 25/07/2021 12:39

Hi All,

Newbie here. Had an early scan this week and confirmed heart beat. I’m 9 weeks and 5 days. Due 22/02/22. We are beyond excited!

This is our first baby. I have to say I feel exactly the same normal, I have had no sickness or any symptoms strangely enough. I actually wish I did have some symptoms, so the scan was definitely reassuring. Had my second covid vaccination when I was probably around 2-3 weeks pregnant without realising!

Looking forward to keeping up with this thread. I can’t wait for 12 weeks to be able to tell people, time is going SO slowly! X

feb2022 · 25/07/2021 14:48

@CNMP I've got some migra eeze but on the back it says not suitable for pregnant women so I've not taken any yet... so bloody tempted tho!
Yes I'm the same I've been getting blurry vision and lights on one side it's so awful, I'm deffo going to try and see if the midwife can prescribe me anything to ease it a little, it got 2 little ones too and they seem to have upped the volume the last couple of days 😂
It's like they know

glasspaw · 25/07/2021 15:08

@JourneyToParenthood welcome and congratulations. Your EDD is a day behind mine and we are also first timers. I’ve found this forum really useful for knowing what comes next, what to expect at my appointments etc. 12 weeks doesn’t seem like that long until you’re in it right? Almost there now! We are actually telling our families at 11 because we happen to be seeing them anyway so it felt like a good time to do it! Have you thought about how you’ll tell people yet?

becarefuloutthere · 25/07/2021 16:48

@JourneyToParenthood same due date as me! Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a DOB like that! It's our first baby too, via Ivf so we've wanted this a long while! No sickness is normal for some so don't read too much into symptoms. I'm constantly feeling sick which isn't fun, I'm glad I'm not being sick tho! When's your 12 week scan? Mine is 11th August.

overtherainbo · 25/07/2021 17:21

Everyone complaining of vision changes, go to your local optician.

I went today because I was having headaches, dizziness and floaters. I've been told that my optical nerve is swollen caused by excess fluid around the brain causing pressure. Appantely it could be a hormonal change too, I've been given a new prescription and I have to go to hospital to have the fluid drained. They will do tests to see the actual cause but the optician said pregnancy can also change eye sight.

feb2022 · 25/07/2021 18:11

@overtherainbo ohh really that sounds awful!
I'll ring mine tomorrow and get myself booked in for a checkup, I'm well overdue anyway
It's funny you've said this tho as I was telling my mum yesterday that I'm sure I need glasses because it's one of those headaches/migraines that feels like your brain is pushing it's way out of your eyes (very dramatic I know) but that's the only way I can describe the feeling it's bloody awful!

emalady · 25/07/2021 18:47

@Hope2022

Ladies, any tips for dealing with constipation? I don’t feel like I can physically drink any more liquid! I’ve not been very active this week due to heat which I know won’t help.. it’s definitely something I suffered with in my first pregnancy and I was super active, working days before birth so think it’s just something I’ve got to try and manage better this time!

I got some lactulose and then some laxido as water and fruit weren't working.
