Thought I would start a second thread as our other one was full. Welcome to all the new ladies Smile

@whistlers I just got my NIPT results, all low risk and having a girl. Hope your results don't take too long.
Definitely agree about sleep. I haven’t had a good night's sleep since just before my daughter was born. Sleep so much lighter now just in case.

@SR092

Hi,

I was just wondering if people in this thread have had their Covid vaccinations? I had my first Pfizer jab when I didn’t know I was pregnant (around 4weeks) and my second is booked for when I will be just over 12 weeks. I’ve heard quite a few people have had reactions to their second does of the Pfizer jab, and wanted to know what pregnant peoples views/thoughts are?

I've already had both doses and no reaction but if I hadn't I would have it as soon as I am out of first trimester. Really scary stats about pregnant women ending up in ITU.
WinsAndNeedles · 23/07/2021 11:51

Just spotted this on the badger app. It might be helpful to those who have not yet had Covid jabs.

I’m 11+5 and feel a lot better than I did, less tired but still constantly hungry and do feel a bit sick if I don’t eat. Some foods are still a no as well. Boobs are still really sore and my bump is definitely growing so these are hopefully reassuring signs. Now wishing I hadn’t pushed my scan back a week to next weekend but then it will shorten the wait to the 20 week scan - just got to get through one more week of waiting!

babyD20 · 23/07/2021 16:34

Is anyone else really nervous for their 12 week scan, I have mine on Thursday and I'm so nervous they won't find anything haha!! Xx

choccrumpet · 23/07/2021 16:40

@babyD20 yep! Mine is in 2 weeks so still a while to go. Have been having bad dreams & anxious about everything, it can't come around soon enough

Trinacham · 23/07/2021 16:47

Just got back from our 12 week scan. I was so nervous but was looking good. Our EDD has now moved earlier to January 29th so looks like I'm now on the wrong board 😄

Rmw99 · 23/07/2021 16:48

@babyD20
So nervous. I had a private scan at 8 weeks and that hasn't really calmed my nerves to be honest. I'm so much more anxious thus time round maybe because I just want my daughter to have a sibling as she's desperate xx

BBP30 · 23/07/2021 16:50

Thanks for your stories everyone , I know it’s super common for people to be anxious , I just hate not feeling pregnant. Good luck to everyone 🤞🏻🤍

Peachi82 · 23/07/2021 17:09

I have booked my flights now for the week after the 12 weeks scan and will stay for a little bit over 3 weeks at my mums. So looking forward to it.

10 weeks today. My belly is definitely growing. My belly button is no longer as deep as mount doom, but has become a little bit more shallow.
I'm glad the heat has eased a bit, makes life a lot easier.

feb2022 · 23/07/2021 18:04

@WinsAndNeedles omg I was thinking I could feel something last night too but I'm only 9+1 😂
I felt movement at 12 weeks last time also you're meant to feel it earlier the more pregnancies you have too I've heard but not too sure this is pregnancy no3 for me

feb2022 · 23/07/2021 18:05

@Trinacham beautiful scan!! Aww your due on my mums birthday 🥰

ChaiTRex · 23/07/2021 18:39

@Trinacham awww what a cute scan! 😍
Your post made me feel much better - my scan is next week, 12+6. I’ve been a bit worried that if it was measuring big, everything would get thrown off. Happy to know that if it’s still measuring far ahead, they’ll just change the due date.

overtherainbo · 23/07/2021 18:40

I'm so nervous for my 12 week scan. I know baby is present but I'm so sure they will say there is a problem with him/her. Refusing to buy anything else until after the 20 week scan, that's how much I'm feeling something is wrong

Winterfellismyhome · 23/07/2021 18:47

Totally with you @overtherainbo absolutely terrified.

Lovely scan @Trinacham

Had my scan today too @Trinacham I won't share a piccy but now due 2nd Feb! X

Lowkeyloopy · 23/07/2021 22:25

Congrats ladies on your scans! Such lovely news. Must be such a relief. I’m 11+1 and have had two days now without nausea and crazy sore boobs and am desperate for those symptoms to come back to keep me calm until the 12 week scan next Friday! Then they can disappear again, haha.

Hope2022 · 24/07/2021 07:53

@Trinacham lush!! Glad scan went well!!

Hope2022 · 24/07/2021 07:56

@Sleepyquest glad your scan went well too! 😊

Hope2022 · 24/07/2021 07:58

Never thought I’d be so grateful for some cooler weather 😍

Hope2022 · 24/07/2021 09:01

Ladies, any tips for dealing with constipation?
I don’t feel like I can physically drink any more liquid! I’ve not been very active this week due to heat which I know won’t help.. it’s definitely something I suffered with in my first pregnancy and I was super active, working days before birth so think it’s just something I’ve got to try and manage better this time!

hellointhere · 24/07/2021 09:15

Congratulations to all! I've been relaxing in the March thread, but my midwife has put my due date in Feb! I'm happy to have loads of threads to read though. My first scan is mid August I am so excited. This is my first.

@Hope2022 I asked and was recommended to drink a coffee every couple days, pineapple and orange juice, pears, dates and weetabix - I did this and have been going every two days now (big improvement, was more like every five days previously). I think their are stool softeners you can take also, but I haven't done this yet

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 24/07/2021 09:28

I have a weird question, does anyone have a moving lump in their lower stomach? I felt one last night on the left side, it went away after ten mins. This morning I had one on the right side. In the last two hours it's moved back across to the left - it's about an inch big and visible. My partner can see and feel it. Can't find much on google. Does anyone know if it's likely to be muscles moving, or whatever?

Peachi82 · 24/07/2021 09:44

Nothing like a good puke in the morning before breakfast.
God, I feel so so rough.
