I’ve not had either but plan to book it after 13 weeks when I’m in the second trimester. Not sure how I’m going to avoid covid tbh with cases as they are and the 8 week gap between doses 😳

Peachi82 · 22/07/2021 14:04

Tomorrow it's two weeks I had my second. I felt quite rough after but I'm glad I had it. Gives me at least some peace of mind that I did everything I could now that everything is opening up.

Lowkeyloopy · 22/07/2021 15:43

I’m also going to book my first jab for week 13.
I absolutely know there is no risk of the vaccine to the baby, but I don’t want to risk a fever as a side effect and my risk profile is pretty ok as I work from home and am not hanging out in crowded pubs etc! Still keen to get it asap though - hate not being protected, and obvs Covid is the bigger risk.

So I’m 11 weeks exactly today. Have been having mild nausea (particularly when hungry) and achy boobs for weeks, particularly in the morning. Woke up this morning and just felt… absolutely fine! I’m needing to pee a LOT which is kinda new, but am seriously freaked by the lack of sore boobs and nausea. I know it’s most likely placenta taking over and I should be grateful to feel ok… but the symptoms were so reassuring! Anyone else in the same boat?

overtherainbo · 22/07/2021 15:54

@Lowkeyloopy I'm also 11 weeks today. I've found my symptoms are taking a back seat too. Like you I have nausea when hungry, slightly sore boobs (not as bad as before), extreme tiredness (but I am on iron supplements) and frequent urination

Hope2022 · 22/07/2021 16:07

@Lowkeyloopy I’m 11 weeks today too!
Feel the same as you.. only feeling sick when hungry, tired but not like I was.. the heat is still getting to me but if I keep cool I’m okay…
Randomly my boobs felt really sore this morning when I woke up but they’ve been fine all day, I have noticed my bra annoying me a bit. I feel less bloated today, my normal shorts fit again 😂

Sleepyquest · 22/07/2021 16:21

Hi @Lowkeyloopy I was just googling this too! Yes it's true that about 12 weeks your symptoms drop off as the placenta takes over but it is quite unnerving isn't it Confused

whistlers · 22/07/2021 16:23

My symptoms are definitely easing but came back a bit today from around 11:00 to around nowish.

At least it's not all day like it was!

Rmw99 · 22/07/2021 16:31

Finally got my scan date through for next Tuesday, after bloody booking a private scan for the same day 😂

overtherainbo · 22/07/2021 16:45

@Rmw99 oh you couldn't write it haha

becarefuloutthere · 22/07/2021 17:22

@Rmw99 can you cancel the private one?

Hope2022 · 22/07/2021 17:33

@Rmw99 hope you can rearrange!!

Hope2022 · 22/07/2021 17:34

Why am I soooo hungry all the time??

I’m such a greedy 🙈 I’ve just ordered a curry, too hot for me to cook! 🙈

Rmw99 · 22/07/2021 17:38

@Hope2022
@becarefuloutthere
@overtherainbo

Iv managed to change it for when I'm 16 weeks for a gender scan 🥳

Hope2022 · 22/07/2021 17:49

@Rmw99 🥳💖

Rmw99 · 22/07/2021 17:54

@Hope2022
I'm with you on being hungry all the time. I'm hungry whilst eating 😫 although it's been hard as I don't fancy anything so almost have to force myself to eat

overtherainbo · 22/07/2021 18:02

@Rmw99 oh how exciting, that will soon come around 🤍

@Hope2022 I've done nothing but eat today, I've been tracking my calories (I'm with a dietitian because of my bmi) but I'm so starving constantly. I am dreading the thought of cooking tea in this heat

Skybooks · 22/07/2021 19:23

Finally booked in today, 11 weeks tomorrow, talked about previous miscarriages and put my mind at rest about risks and weight/age.
Should have scan date through soon. I've finally made a proper dinner tonight and managed to eat a full portion!

WinsAndNeedles · 22/07/2021 22:12

Call me bonkers (most people do anyway) but I feel movement! I'm only around 10w (I think) but today I have felt it twice, both whilst lying down. I felt movements early with my 2nd at 12w but this time it's really early, unless my dates are out.

BBP30 · 23/07/2021 02:46

I’m 9+ 3 weeks today , my symptoms disappeared at 8 weeks , I have had two previous missed misscarriages, is it normal to loose symptoms ? Have a bit of anxiety , new to this forum

Sleepyquest · 23/07/2021 05:53

Today is the day and I can't sleep!

Mamaux · 23/07/2021 07:10

@BBP30 my symptoms started to go at around 9 weeks. I'm now 11 weeks and have nothing bar sore boobs. No more exhaustion or peeing all the time. I too have been concerned sue to previous late miscarriage, but it seems like it is normal from what I've read xx

Skybooks · 23/07/2021 08:14

@bbp30 my symptoms come and go and change. I've also had a MMC and have had 2 private scans to ease my anxiety and I'm still paranoid. Unfortunately there are so many options, I'm sure all.is fine lovely

choccrumpet · 23/07/2021 08:37

@BBP30 I'm 9+3 and my symptoms are also easing, nausea almost not there, boobs not very sore unless prodded. I'm listening to others and hoping it's all normal and okay 🤞🏼but very hard not to worry. My anxiety has gotten worse recently and I'm having bad dreams about losing the pregnancy.. trying to relax and not think like that!

Sycamore89 · 23/07/2021 09:05

I’m the same. My symptoms lifted a lot at 10 weeks, I’m now 11+3 and feel fine (apart from all the bloating…!). I am worried about it but only six days until my scan so keeping my fingers crossed about it all. There are plenty of other mumsnet threads where people talk about a reduction in symptoms at 9/10/11 weeks so I’m hoping it’s pretty normal!

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 23/07/2021 09:22

It's such an anxious time. I mentioned at my private scan I was nervous (at 10+4) and she said it's common people lose their symptoms and don't feel pregnant in last month of 1st trimester because the placenta is/has taken over. She said mine had developed and it's normal around weeks 9-11 depending on the person. I'm still very anxious, although at almost 12 weeks I've been feeling a bit grotty with food aversions again. I think it must be common to feel stressed before scans, esp for those of us that have had bad news at them previously. But hopefully it'll all be okay for all of us x
