Anyone else due March 2022?

I've done about 10 tests over the past few days and can now confidently say I'm pregnant! Due 1 March according to the NHS calculator.

Feeling ok so far, just tired and a bit queasy. It's my second pregnancy so a bit less of a novelty than last time! And my toddler is keeping me too busy to think much about it Grin

Anyone else in the same boat? Care to join me for a discussion of our slowly bloating ankles, rising heartburn, fluttering bumps over the next few months? Smile

I did like 3 tests in a row about a week after my missed period, which were all strong positive (inc one digital) but I've not bothered testing since then. Even at the booking app they didn't seem to do a test, which i thought was really weird, I kinda thought they'd check :s at what point would you even know you'd had a chemical? Im now 9weeks tomorrow so probs just over thinking!!

AliceTheCamelhasFiveHumps · 04/08/2021 15:04

Fairly sure my pregnancy has failed - I am basically having my period - has felt like it for a few days, and is now bleeding as I would expect a period to be... more than spotting.

but still have to attend the viability scan tomorrow :( seems pointless.... but i suppose they will check to see if everything is Ok in there

Cluelost · 04/08/2021 15:21

@AliceTheCamelhasFiveHumps I'm so sorry, hopefully you get some clarity tomorrow. xx

AliceTheCamelHasFiveHumps · 04/08/2021 18:48

Yeah, definitely failed, just passed a 1" sac... :(

Still have to attend scan clinic tomorrow.

Mon2468 · 05/08/2021 15:41

@AliceTheCamelHasFiveHumps hi Alice just caught up with this chat. How did you get on today? X

treesall · 06/08/2021 18:27

@H8theW8 and @CorpusCallosum thank you for your positive wishes. Scan was ok today, so im trying really hard to be positive now. It's very early days and could still all go wrong but im keeping my fingers crossed!

How is everyone?

H8theW8 · 06/08/2021 19:45

@treesall that's great news 😀 glad to hear it! I'm feeling SO nauseous today and DS has been wild so I'm wiped out 😵‍💫 glad it's now the weekend! I have my booking appointment on Tuesday and scan on Thursday. Nervous and excited x

HyphenCobra · 06/08/2021 21:31

Feel 😷 today, as per most days 😞
Saw physio who confirmed at 9 weeks my spd is already returning!! Had it in past 2 pregnancies.
Joys of pregnancy lol

CorpusCallosum · 07/08/2021 22:08

Great news @treesall !! 💗

CorpusCallosum · 07/08/2021 22:11

To the others suffering with nausea, I am right there with you. With my first I was nauseous up to 20 weeks but only actually popped a handful of times - at the mo it's 3-5 times a day. I'm exhausted by it 😔

Cluelost · 07/08/2021 23:28

Hi All, hope you're well! @CorpusCallosum I've not had nausea too bad, but I’ve been drinking ginger beer and I think thats helped! I do have impossible insomnia, I can't seem to say asleep longer than 2/3 hour, me and my OH have taken to sleeping in separate bed just so I'm not keeping him up! If anyone has a fix for that it'd be a life saver!!

Cat2018 · 08/08/2021 10:10

Hi all, hope everyone is well. I have woke up this morning feeling absolutely fine, symptoms seem to have gone which is such a worry. I have an early scan booked next week and praying it's good news. Pregnancy is such a worry isn't it, my anxiety is through the roof already 😌

@Cat2018 I think it's normal for them to come and go. You might find you feel pants again tomorrow. I know it is such a worry though, pregnancy is so hard, and early pregnancy is just the worst!

Cat2018 · 09/08/2021 08:28

Thanks @treesall the sickness definitely hit again last night and the tiredness/exhaustion is something else. I seem to be getting a wee break in the mornings, don't think we will ever stop worrying about something. Thank goodness for these chats 😊

H8theW8 · 10/08/2021 13:31

Hi All,

Hope everyone is keeping well.

I had my booking appointment this morning and got my notes which is making things feel a bit more real now! I have my early scan on Thursday which I'm really nervous/excited about.

I've been feeling very nauseous for a few weeks now 🤢 also feeling quite breathless today which isn't fun!

Kipkay35 · 10/08/2021 14:27

Hi everyone.
I'm 8+2 with my first, it's so scary! I keep thinking something will go wrong. I wish I could fast forward until 12+ weeks. I had an early scan yesterday and there's a heartbeat thank god. I hope you're all doing well! X

Summertime85 · 10/08/2021 14:43

Hi everyone, my first post!
I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant with my third baby due 31st March. I have quite big age gaps (4 years) between pregnancies so each time I seem to have forgotten what it’s like.

I’ve informed the midwives I’m pregnant so just waiting for a letter with my phone booking in appointment. Exciting as feels like the first step.

My first two babies were 10 and 11lbs so I’m hoping I’ll be having growth scans this time as terrified of having a 12lber!

Debating getting an early scan or not, I had one with last pregnancy as had some bleeding and it was amazing to see a heart beat but my hubby reckons it’s a waste of money x

Mon2468 · 10/08/2021 14:49

@Summertime85 congratulations ☺️ if an early scan gives you peace of mind I would go for it. I'm 10+1 and it's my 2nd pregnancy, I miscarried a few years ago, at a lesser stage so I have my fingers crossed for this one. I had a reassurance scan on the nhs due to previous miscarriage and also had a private scan due to bleeding and once I seen all was ok it made me relax a bit more

H8theW8 · 12/08/2021 20:09

Hi All,

How's everyone getting on? I had my early scan today, heartbeat detected and all good 👌 was dated 5 days ahead of what I thought so I'm 9+2 today!

My new EDD is 15th March 🤩

MissL85 · 23/08/2021 08:27

Hello, everyone. How is everyone getting on? I'm going for my dating scan on Thursday and really worried about it. The last time I went for a scan it was fine (at nearly 9 weeks) and on Wednesday I will be 13 weeks. I can't help thinking something will be wrong. Has anyone started buying maternity clothes? My trousers are starting to not go up properly. I will need some new clothes for work when I start the new term next month. Is it too early to buy any at nearly 13 weeks?

MomoTheLemur · 27/08/2021 00:13

Hey all - sorry been a bit MIA since early July. Welcome and congratulations to all new BFPs. 🥰 We had our 12 scan on Monday so confirmed a singleton (phew) and definitely have a baby. New due date is 5th of march which is pretty bang on still. How is everyone doing?

Congratulations! I have my 12 week scan today, I'm feeling a bit nervous about it!
MissL85 · 27/08/2021 07:14

I had my dating scan yesterday. I thought I was 13 weeks and a day, but apparently I'm 12 weeks and 6 days. The baby was upside down and I had to empty my bladder in order for it to move. Due date is 4th of March. Now I'm waiting on the results for the chromosome tests, which I'm not looking forward to. Everyone is telling me to think positively, but I can't help thinking the worst is going to happen.
