Anyone else due March 2022?

I've done about 10 tests over the past few days and can now confidently say I'm pregnant! Due 1 March according to the NHS calculator.

Feeling ok so far, just tired and a bit queasy. It's my second pregnancy so a bit less of a novelty than last time! And my toddler is keeping me too busy to think much about it Grin

Anyone else in the same boat? Care to join me for a discussion of our slowly bloating ankles, rising heartburn, fluttering bumps over the next few months? Smile

Hello all, I got my bfp on fathers day at 12dpo. Currently 5+5 and EDD 1/2nd Marxh, so similar to a lot of you ladies!! Quite anxious as I had a MC over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend at 6 weeks, so fingers crossed this one sticks with me. Only symptoms I have at the moment are sore boobs and getting light headed when I stand up too quick! X

MomoTheLemur · 04/07/2021 13:20

@CorpusCallosum only thing I can say is that your feelings are valid. For my first things happened very quick and there was definitely a period of shock. I would say that the good news is that you have quite a few months to mentally prepare for this and hopefully come to terms with your pregnancy. ❤️ TTC is such a roller coaster sometimes it happens unexpectedly and you almost have whiplash from it and others it can take such a long time and be filled with losses and heart ache, whatever your feelings it's ok to feel them, and this advice is to anyone on the thread, if you feel it might help it's always ok to ask for help with those feelings!

Hi @Neom87 sorry to read about your loss! Fingers crossed for sticky bean!

firstimemamma · 04/07/2021 14:30

Hi girls, I found out I'm pregnant literally a few hours ago! I'm in total shock!

Romanticrights · 04/07/2021 18:54

Thank you everyone!! Just did a clearblue and got 3+ but I'm pretty sure I'm only 4+5 is this normal?? Been googling and convincing myself it's going wrong again. Had stomach pains too today, this anxiety is dreadful!

toadstool32 · 04/07/2021 19:06

@Romanticrights I got 2-3 at only 12dpo so panicked. I'm now 20dpo but too scared to try another digital incase it hasn't risen.

MomoTheLemur · 05/07/2021 21:14

@Romanticrights the digital ones aren't exact in dating, if anything though showing as further along than you are expecting is if anything a good thing I would think.

Is anyone worrying about not waring makeup? I can't remember what I did with baby no 1 and it's only 2-3 years ago. 😂

MomoTheLemur · 05/07/2021 21:15

@firstimemamma have you settled into your news a bit more?

bongbigboobingbongbing · 05/07/2021 21:41

I don't know about make up @MomoTheLemur but I'm already having allergic reactions to things I'm not normally sensitive to, I've got itchy eczema all over my eyelids 🙄

I remember this happening in my last pregnancy, it's so annoying!

Apart from that I'm feeling ok, just super tired and napping every chance I get. 6 weeks today! Fingers crossed.

@MomoTheLemur yes thank you, absolutely on top of the moon and permanently hungry so exactly like my last pregnancy! How have you been feeling, how far along are u?

CorpusCallosum · 06/07/2021 12:53

I'm getting my head around it a bit more just now.

I'm desperate to tell people I feel like it will make it much more real.

Also DD had an epic meltdown at bath time yesterday, I was sat cuddling her on the bathroom floor and it hit me how hard it's going to be with two 😢 How are others feeling about taking the leap to two?

bongbigboobingbongbing · 07/07/2021 08:26

I am nervous about that @CorpusCallosum. I love bedtimes with DD and that special hour we have just the two of us reading stories and having a cuddle. It is the best hour of my day. I am having a few wobbles at the thought of not being able to do it every day!

I do look at friends with two kids though and see the lovely sibling relationships that are developing so fingers crossed the benefits will outweigh the short term pain. I always knew I wanted more than one child so I keep reminding myself it's just part of the plan.

@CorpusCallosum the thought of two and managing does seem daunting here too. My worry is how exhausting doing bed times every night for two will be (I imagine hubby and I will continue to divide and conquer in some way). Also worried how DD might feel at suddenly having divided attention.

@bongbigboobingbongbing for DD we do two nights alternating at bed times which works quite well. I actually love it more since we don't BF to sleep and it's alternated (I love my night off too conversely Wink).

Is anyone on here still BFing a toddler? I'm not keen on tandem feeding so secretly hoping I might dry up. 🙈

@firstimemamma hungry, emotional and tired are the main symptoms here... Tired could be thanks to DD though. Hard to say.

CorpusCallosum · 07/07/2021 16:16

Absolutely love my night off bedtime 😂 I am wishing the time away till I can say 'upstairs pyjamas on and teeth brushed!' and leave them to it!!!!

DH and I always used to do bedtime together but now one of us does that and the other tidies up the kitchen. DHs tidying is never to my satisfaction so I end up sorting things out anyway 🙄 Also DD need cajoling to go along with anything at bedtime and we're all tired so it's def not my favourite time of day 😬🙊

MsWho · 08/07/2021 09:09

How are you all doing? I am exhausted, can't keep my eyes open in the evenings! 😴

Ttcbn2 · 08/07/2021 13:34

I’m just sooo tired and feel sooo sick, have been sick but not half as much as I was by this time with my first if that makes sense..

Has anyone else started buying things yet? 🙈 my goodness I can’t stop! X

toadstool32 · 08/07/2021 13:38

@Ttcbn2 buying things?! Goodness no way!! I've not even told anyone except my husband or made a booking appointment. Way too early in my opinion

PlantLadyMum · 08/07/2021 14:48

My second is due March 16, my first is 13 months at the minute Grin

bongbigboobingbongbing · 08/07/2021 16:12

I am very tired too. Nausea is not too bad but I want to sleep for a thousand hours.

I haven't bought anything for the baby yet, he or she will mainly be making do with DD's cast offs, but I have treated myself to a couple of maternity items in the sale Grin

OP posts:
Elune · 08/07/2021 16:21

@Ttcbn2 I can't really justify buying anything as we have pretty much everything already as DD1 is only 2.5. So there's nothing to buy 🙈 We already have car seat, cot, pram, clothes, everything. Very annoying Grin I will maybe treat myself to something cute after 12-week scan though.

Elune · 08/07/2021 16:21

Oh yes I've bought some more maternity leggings as my ones from first time round are quite threadbare (I might have worn them quite a lot when not pregnant Blush).

Ahh that’s very lucky @Elune, my little one is now 6 so we had nothing!! Xx

YYY85 · 08/07/2021 20:27

Hi everyone just got a positive and according to flo app due 6th March. This will be my 2nd still hasn't sunk in yet!

Vixlou89 · 08/07/2021 21:22

Oh my god I'm exhausted!
I napped today for 3 hrs I never nap!
Feeling sicky but no vomit, headaches are having my life too!!

MsWho · 11/07/2021 16:30

Is any one else getting lots of nausea and loss of appetite? I do really struggle to eat normally, especially at dinner time 😩
