Anyone else due March 2022?

I've done about 10 tests over the past few days and can now confidently say I'm pregnant! Due 1 March according to the NHS calculator.

Feeling ok so far, just tired and a bit queasy. It's my second pregnancy so a bit less of a novelty than last time! And my toddler is keeping me too busy to think much about it Grin

Anyone else in the same boat? Care to join me for a discussion of our slowly bloating ankles, rising heartburn, fluttering bumps over the next few months? Smile

@Cluelost, morning, for me I just worry, and had an early loss in March so wanting to make sure all is ok, I’m having my scan done privately. Rather than waiting for the NHS 1, normally by 6 weeks a heart beat can b heard & seen. they also check for location etc, for my 4th pregnancy I actually went to the EPU at 6 weeks and they found a heart beat and did other checks too.

Cass36 · 19/07/2021 09:09

@Cluelost with my 4th I had lots of sharp cramping so was just advised to go to the EPU.

Cass36 · 19/07/2021 09:18

@Cluelost , sorry also it’s a transvaginal ( hope correct spelling) lol. They did that at the EPU with me. It could be different in other hospitals or clinics.

YorkshireSunshine · 19/07/2021 09:51

@Cluelost I had an external scan as over 7 weeks - mainly because I wasn’t sure on dates and didn’t want to wait until 12 weeks!

They do measurements for more exact dating, you can see if there’s a heart beat and that they are positioned in the correct place. I was 8 weeks and it’s so small that there wasn’t anything much exciting to look at!!

@hopesprings22

Hi ladies and congratulations! I'm 5+3, EDD 12 March and have been checking back in here for a while but was too nervous of jinxing it to join...I got 3+ on my CB digital this morning so thought I'd break cover 😊 This will be baby 3 for me, we lost our second due to complications so feeling very nervous this time round and could do with the company. Main symptom is huge waves of fatigue, waiting for the nausea to hit! 😬 Hope your days have started well today x
Congratulations!!Smile I'm 6 weeks EDD 13 March and have a private early scan booked next Tuesday! So far symptoms have been extreme fatigue, sore boobs, Nausea that comes and goes and cramping which seems to have stopped! I'm an absolute nervous wreck as this is my first and finding it really difficult to be positive and enjoy the good news until I know things are okay!! I took a CB digital on Tuesday 13th which was 1-2wks and took another Sunday which said 2-3. I hope to take another in a day or two to see if I can get 3+ to put my mind at ease that it's progressing. Any tips on how to relax!?

Hi all, how are you doing in the heat? I have been moaning, melting and throwing up 😰 I keep reminding myself that this is our second and last so every day I get through I never have to do again!!

I had a private early scan today to confirm dates and that it is a singleton pregnancy - it is (thank god) 🎉 and due on my birthday!! I've told my mum I'm moving my birthday to January instead 😂

H8theW8 · 22/07/2021 15:32

Hi all, I'm 5+4 today with my second. DS is 13 months.

I'm shattered, grabbing an afternoon nap when I can and the nausea is just starting to creep in 🙈 praying it doesn't get as bad as the first time round but I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for it 🤢

CorpusCallosum · 22/07/2021 16:27

At my booking appointment today the midwife told me pregnacare vitamins are known to be associated with nausea!! It was not known to me!!

She said all you really need is the folic acid and vit D which you can buy individually and doesn't have the same nauseating effect - I am about to test this theory out because I have been feeling rough AF 🤞🤞🤞

She also said they keep an eye on your iron levels and if you need more you can supplement that / the GP will prescribe a supplement.

kelsn96 · 22/07/2021 16:44

@CorpusCallosum I had the same issue with pregnacare!! They gave me diarrhoea, bright green pee and caused me to have really yellow/green discharge, sorry TMI! I'm now taking folic acid & b12 along with a separate Vitamin D tablet and notice a massive difference in how I've been feeling. I'm 7wks today and have a early scan on Tuesday, hoping everything goes well, very nervous as this is my firstSmile

Cluelost · 22/07/2021 16:55

Oh my god the heat is too much!

I'm just taking folic acid and vit d and ive not been sick yet at all, just dizzy (7 weeks today). I just need to nap all the time as I'm constantly tired!

Cluelost · 22/07/2021 16:59

I was wondering about what sport to do/give up, pre-pregs I'd be doing around 3 rowing sessions a week, but now they are just totally exhausting. How is everyone else doing with exercise?

effieceff · 24/07/2021 09:21

Due 31.03.22 (currently 4 weeks and 2) but i'm meant to be having my 2nd pfizer shot soon, any advice?

Cass36 · 24/07/2021 17:03

@effieceff Hi and congratulations, that’s a difficult one, but for me personally I know I would not for many reasons, but that’s just me, you could have a talk with your GP hun, you could also do your own research into it, if still unsure sleep on it. But do what feels right for you hun, go with your gut ( as they say).

Thank you @Cass36, I really don't think it's worth the worry it will cause, But, I have had the first one so not sure if that could cause issues? I'm guessing not. Will call the GP monday 👍🏼

Countingchicks · 24/07/2021 17:48

@effieceff I had my second Pfizer argue on Monday when I was 4+6, no issues at all. Only a sore arm and not as bad as the first one!

Countingchicks · 24/07/2021 17:48

*jab not argue!

Cass36 · 24/07/2021 17:56

@effieceff, ah no problem, I know it’s a difficult one. Hopefully your GP can give you info etc. Yes I would say don’t worry/ stress over it.

That's good to hear!! Glad was all okay for you!

effieceff · 24/07/2021 18:13

I've not done this before, when do I need to inform my GP?

Cass36 · 24/07/2021 18:23

@effieceff, I would say once you are happy and 100% on what you have chosen to do, then yes inform your GP. But I’m sure if you did change your mind later on it shouldn’t be an issue. I could be wrong but that could be a question you ask your GP.

AliceTheCamelHasFiveHumps · 24/07/2021 19:17

Due 25 March, will be child no 2

Cass36 · 24/07/2021 19:49

@AliceTheCamelHasFiveHumps, hi congratulations, how are you feeling so far?

LittleChilliBean · 24/07/2021 20:15

I had an early scan this week and saw a tiny heartbeat! They were unsure whether I had my dates right so wanted to be sure that I wasn't later than I thought!

Cass36 · 24/07/2021 20:29

@LittleChilliBean, aww that’s good, glad all is ok.
