Thought I'd start a new thread for us expecting March 2022!

Congratulations!!

I'm 4+2 with my first, conceived via IVF. I have endo & adeno so pretty nervous. Have told hubby & my sis so far but it's hard keeping the excitement in! It's been a long TTC journey over the last 5 years...

Hope everyone is feeling well in these early days xx

OK I just did a Clear Blue digital and it came up 2 to 3 weeks. I'm so relieved, I'm genuinely going to stop testing now, throw away the ICs and just trust that what will be will be!
@Shiftima I'm with you, what I'd give for a glass of wine!

Can anyone recommend where I can get some new bras from? My boobs are killing me and my bras are too small and hurting my ribcage and back 😔

Oh thank you. I will see if I can get some. I hadnt even thought about sports bras!

My normal bars are sports bras- so much more comfortable than others. I wear tesco ones.

@abbs1 the sweaty betty lightly padded yoga bras are amazing. I wear them all the time, flattering and comfy. X

Has anyone booked in for their booking appointment yet? I haven't heard back from the midwives yet.

I rang to book mine yesterday but they hadn’t had the referral from the gp yet regarding my consultant.

I'm still not nauseous but I am super hormonal. I nearly cried because my handbag and shoes were in two different places. I told DH it was good practice for the irrational toddler tantrums. Anyone else have this?

I remember with my first son, I was about 5 weeks pregnant and shopping with my mum in Tesco. I stood in the aisle and balled my eyes out (like proper sobbing) because they had none of the pickled onions that my husband likes. My mum who didn't know at the time thought that I had completely lost the plot!

I done mine via My Pregnancy Notes on Monday and recieved my letter yesterday for my telephone appointment in 2 weeks... eek!

TMI - I've got terrible diarrhoea today, been on and off but gradually getting worse.

I’m peeing like it’s going out of fashion! Trying to drink a coffee but it’s making me feel sick-always happens when I’m pregnant the smell makes me heave!

Hi ladies.
Congratulations on your BFPs. I got mine this morning which came as a huge shock! We have been trying for over a year and have been referred to the fertility clinic. I also had a couple of days spotting and a 3 day period so I thought I was out. It was different to normal but definitely red and quite heavy one day (sorry if TMI!). I have been feeling so tired and nauseous and just haven't felt right so despite the period I decided to test just to rule it out. Totally expected it to be white as per usual and I saw a line! I tried about 4 different brands and all say pregnant. I am just worried now that it was a chemical or it won't stick due to the bleeding. So keeping everything crossed all will be okay and it will be a sticky bean. Estimated due date would be 8th March. I am 32 and this would be our first.

Oh god, make the peeing stop. It won’t stop, it gets worse as the ever growing bean starts to use your bladder as a punch bag! Cheers to the next 8 months!

Oh god, the diarrhoea does not sound good!!! I haven't had any of that!

None of my jeans fit! I’m bloated so much. I started to show really early last time so expecting this time to be even sooner as my stomach muscles have zero bounce-back these days!

Does anyone have symptoms come and go? This is my first pregnancy so I'm clueless! My boobs were so hard and sore but the last couple of days have been softer and just my nipples hurt. And I was really bloated a few days ago and haven't been since!

@Shiftima I seem to start showing really early as well. I'm only 4+2 but my stomach has popped out probably mainly due to the bloat but I cannot wear jeans anymore or anything remotely tight around my waist so I'm just living in leggings at the moment.

My stomach has zero bounceback as well after three big babies. Hoping this one will be a bit smaller!

@Shiftima I'm going for a wee every 45-60 minutes it's driving me nuts, ruining work concentration! Was up 3 times in the night too and only just past 4 weeks, worried I'll have to just move into the bathroom when I'm more preggers ?!

@ShrimpingViolet My daughter is 17m. Currently in the wonderful stages of tantrums, sleep refusal and seperation anxiety - yay!? She's very cuddly and affectionate though so that makes up for it!
@KayL1988 I really don't know if they will offer me an early scan, I'm not really expecting them to but if they do - bonus! I'll make sure to mention my previous miscarriage, bleeding and my cyst as they're all reasons to get checked I suppose! If I do have to wait until my dating scan then I'm sure I'll manage but that'll be mid-late August which seems crazy far away!! I have had a quick look and luckily my town has opened an ultrasound direct since having my daughter so at least I don't have to travel for 2 hours each way if I do decide to get a private one done.

@intheheights No I haven't referred to midwives yet. I keep telling myself it's too early and I don't want to jinx things. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks with my first pregnancy a few years ago and had to ring around to cancel mulitple appointments and scans, having to explain why etc. and then had people ring up weeks later asking why I wasn't at the appointments. It was absolutely heartbreaking all over again and really set me back in terms of emotionally getting over it so I would really like to avoid that but I feel a bit silly being scared to book in so might just get it over with... or wait until Monday?

@Lya4 That is hilarious! Crying over pickled onions! Did you have to explain to your mum or did you let her think you were losing it? Haha

Symptoms have been coming and going for me too @intheheights. Had this with my DD too as I recall.

We are still very much in the thick of it with tantrums here too @charm23, DD has just turned 2.

Oh @bea89 you must be hardly able to believe it after so long. Massive congrats.

I'm feeling absolutely knackered today and I keep getting hot and sweaty ridiculously easily. So glam.

I cried before because my husband didn't call me to ask if I wanted anything bringing in for my dinner... he wasn't aware he had to mind! 🙈
