Thought I'd start a new thread for us expecting March 2022!

Congratulations!!

I'm 4+2 with my first, conceived via IVF. I have endo & adeno so pretty nervous. Have told hubby & my sis so far but it's hard keeping the excitement in! It's been a long TTC journey over the last 5 years...

Hope everyone is feeling well in these early days xx

Does anyone else feel incredibly hungry all the time?

I’m only 7+1, scared I’ll be the size of a house!

Champersandchocolate · 15/07/2021 17:42

Thanks! Judging by photos I took he said it’s Milia and will clear up in a few weeks - he said it’s not related to pregnant.

Never experienced this in other pregnancies. Just hope everything is healthy inside this time xxx

Champersandchocolate · 15/07/2021 17:43

Not yet! Trying to use my willpower and just eat fibre foods, small meals and lots of walking. The dreaded cramps come heavy if I eat anything!! Xx

swanswallow · 15/07/2021 17:45

Congratulations everyone! Yes just yesterday had a positive pregnancy test at 13 DPO. Still feels a bit hard to believe (even though I have a missed period, sore boobs and some mild nausea.....) so planning to recheck in a few days as my lines are quite faint. Is my first pregnancy.

I've also found myself @lulabilly being more hungry, snacking more particularly

Champersandchocolate · 15/07/2021 18:02

@swanswallow good luck!! I have no sore boobs.. just cramps now and again! Usually it's my boobs that are my main symptom so I'm unsure why this time, they haven't changed yet! X

miaulin · 15/07/2021 18:18

@hopesprings22

Thanks for updating us *@miaulin* , so so pleased for you - I was thinking of you at 2pm!

@Champersandchocolate congratulations and welcome 😊💐

Thank you!

And thank you everyone else! I will be sure to post on Tuesday with another update at the scan
It will be at 9:30am ☺️

Love and baby dust to everyone xoxo

Cmacs2020 · 15/07/2021 18:54

Hi all! I had a positive test last week, 5 +2 today. No strong symptoms yet - some cramps, some sore boobs, some nausea but nothing very strong yet.

Congratulations everyone, hope everyones well Smile

CharlieSassy · 15/07/2021 19:03

@Cmacs2020 congratulations! You sound exactly the same as me, I almost wish there were more to go on! Mind you today I have the addition of feeling so bloated I can barely do my jeans up Confused

Cmacs2020 · 15/07/2021 19:09

@charliesassy aww I forgot about the bloat, I feel massive at night. Can't really eat past 6 and we usually have a late dinner when our 1 year old is in bed!

Another week or so and I'd say I'll be feeling the sickness lol

Equimum · 16/07/2021 07:50

So glad yesterday’s scan went well miaulin and have everything crossed for you on Tuesday.

Having spent all day yesterday worrying about lack of symptoms, today I feel positively quite icky. I’m trying to remind myself that this is a good sign.

Thank you! Wasn't a scan though they refused to do another one so early I just had a pelvic exam which they said my cervix was closed so wasn't having a MC.

They booked me in for a scan on Tuesday :)

hopesprings22 · 16/07/2021 08:25

@Equimum I've been worrying about lack of symptoms too! So tired but no nausea yet, I swear it kicked in earlier in my other pregnancies...how far along are you? I'm sure I'll be wishing it away again if/when it does start! Hope you can get some rest today.

Amtheyest17 · 16/07/2021 08:37

Hi All!

Another March baby over here :) I’m 5 weeks today - this is my first so excited but very nervous. Symptoms over the last week or so have been very tired, I feel a bit sick then it’ll go, very hungry (I’ve moved my meal times though and this has massively helped!) boobs are so sore and had a lot of cramping like AF is coming! The absolute killer though is I am literally getting up every night to pee at least 4 times, anyone else? Xx

Champersandchocolate · 16/07/2021 08:53

@Amtheyest17 Congratulations! This is my 4th pregnancy. I have two children and one pregnancy that I lost at 4 months at the beginning of this year.

I have no symptoms yet - just cramps. It is worrying me! I’m 4 weeks plus 4. Maybe next week the symptoms will come.

Xx

CharlieSassy · 16/07/2021 09:03

@Champersandchocolate this is exactly how I feel, other than tired and a bit bloated and the odd bit of pain, I don't have anything and I worry that means something is wrong. I need to stop stressing so much though I'm sure, I read that some people don't get any symptoms really?

How is everyone else feeling today? I have to say, when no one else knows its a relief to have you all here :)

Champersandchocolate · 16/07/2021 09:07

@CharlieSassy hard not to be sceptical. I’ve got scans booked in at 6 weeks to check everything is in the right place. Not sure if I can wait that long!!

I’m sure, however we will be ok.

There are so many women that have no symptoms. All I want is for my boobs to ache for some reassurance!!

EnjoyingTheSunshine · 16/07/2021 09:15

Hi girls, may I join, I'm currently 7 weeks and 1 day. Baby is due March 3rd.

This will be my second child, I have an 11 month old son. I had an early miscarriage in February at 4 weeks and 5 days.

I have to say I'm super nervous due to my previous loss. I haven't even informed my GP yet as in February I informed them straight away about pregnancy and then had to call them to say I miscarried.

I have an early private scan booked in when I'll be just over 8 weeks next weeks. Anyone else doing an early scan?

Symptoms are occasional cramping, sometimes my boobs hurt a bit and sometimes I feel a bit sick for a couple of seconds. Symptoms come and go and very often I feel completely fine and not pregnant at all.

Im scared, but take frequent pregnancy tests and the line continues to be strong, so I'm clinging on to that.

I'm also 34, so feel totally old. 😳

Wishing you all a good and safe pregnancy xx

WonderlandZooHD · 16/07/2021 09:31

@EmCEmC

Awww congratulations 🥳

I’ve just found out 12dpo and I’ve done a wee google look I should be due 23rd March 2022 I’m normally only 24day cycle

Ahhh it’s all very exciting but my OH very much under reacted I think or maybe I’m just the crack pot 😂 but I’m waiting to do a digital so it’s in words for him 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ He wasn’t convinced by the 2nd line

lol2015 · 16/07/2021 09:38

Hello girls

Please can I join?

We've been trying for 6 years
Got my positive last week EDD 14th March 2022 :)

Champersandchocolate · 16/07/2021 09:47

@EnjoyingTheSunshine Hello! I’m sorry to hear of your miscarriage, but congratulations on being pregnant again.

I also have an early scan booked privately with a Fetal Medicine Doctor.

I had a loss at 16 weeks in March so I’m thrilled to be pregnant again, but I am very, very nervous.

I have booked a 6 week scan to check everything is in the right place, I then have two nuchal and anomaly scans booked between 14&16weeks, (I want to check everything twice this time!) then a reassurance scan at 22 weeks.

I’ll also have the standard NHS scans in between.

I have made sure my private scans are with a Fetal Medicine Doctor - the NHS scans made me wait an excruciating amount of time in my previous pregnancy last time after a possible anomaly finding, so this time I want Doctors and a definitive answer every time with a specialised Doctor from the get go!

Good luck with everything. It is hard to control my anxiety but I am eating all the right foods, relaxing and taking deep breaths.

Best wishes xxxx

Amtheyest17 · 16/07/2021 09:52

@Champersandchocolate @CharlieSassy everyone is so different, my friend had no symptoms whatsoever and had the dream pregnancy and birth! I’ve had quite a lot of symptoms and yesterday and the day before they pretty much disappeared! Have you tried the clear blue week indicator? I don’t think it’s an exact science but seen on here people are using them to gage how much HCG they have! Might put your minds at rest a little? I’m also having a reassurance scan next week! Still can’t believe this is real!!

@EnjoyingTheSunshine I felt exactly the same as you a couple of days ago, all of a sudden just didn’t feel pregnant! So worrying isn’t it? I have a reassurance scan next week I’ll be 6+1 I would love to wait until 7 weeks as better chance of hearing a heartbeat but I don’t think I can 😂

Charliecircle11 · 16/07/2021 09:56

Hi All! I was 4 weeks yesterday, app says I am due 24th March 2022 but will wait for first scan 😬 is it normal to have a bump already?! My tummy has just expanded!! Thank god I am working at home for the foreseeable, not sure I can hide it for much longer 😂

PaperFleur · 16/07/2021 10:24

Good morning everyone! I'm 5 weeks today, same as @Amtheyest17. Sadly as with so many of you here, I had a miscarriage last year and so am extra nervous this time around too. I'm having a private scan at 7 weeks so if all looks good at that then hopefully that will relax me a tiny bit (well, for 5 minutes at least!), although last time baby stopped developing somewhere between 7-8 weeks.
I think there are a few of us in our mid-late 30s on here from what I've seen? I'm 38, and this will be my first baby. Symptoms so far have been very similar to everyone else's, they come and go but sore boobs, really tired, mild cramps, dizziness plus the joys of constipation and bloating! Stretchy waistbands are my friend right now... Thankfully no nausea or constant need to wee yet though!

JuneySunshine · 16/07/2021 10:37

Hi @WonderlandZooHD and congratulations!

I was smiling reading your post because my OH's reaction was similar. I did a test on a Thursday morning (positive) then another on the Saturday before presenting him with two positive tests over brunch.
He was just like
'What does this mean? Are you sure? Is that line dark enough? I didn't think it would happen yet?!'

We were trying and he's allowed himself some little smiles about it since but I think it's just a bit overwhelming, where as I was more sure after hanging around looking at other people's lines on MN!

I did a digital this morning (nearly a week on) and it was really nice to see in words Smile I think we're just naturally quite cautious people. I've only just got it together to contact the midwife so it is sinking in slowly!

When will you do your digital?

WonderlandZooHD · 16/07/2021 10:46

@JuneySunshine Congratulations 🥳
I’m actually so excited to talk to people that are in the same boat as myself and we’re all due at the same time!! March babies yay!! 👶🏼
I’m glad someone else’s man had a similar reaction 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m very emotion driven and he’s a bit like a vulkan very logical 🖖🏻 and have been looking for signs and wee twinges you know I took a test 9dpo a few days ago 13th and I wasn’t convinced so I waited and did a FR and a CB early and sure enough positive and well I couldn’t wait after writing my first post so I took a digital and sure enough there it was he’s asleep as he works nights so I’ll wait till he’s awake but I can’t stop looking at it I’m just about to walk down to the doctors and get my bounty pack I’m just too damb excited 😆 it may be my undoing we were on TTC cycle 4

Congratulations again wishing you all the best x
