Thought I'd start a new thread for us expecting March 2022!

Congratulations!!

I'm 4+2 with my first, conceived via IVF. I have endo & adeno so pretty nervous. Have told hubby & my sis so far but it's hard keeping the excitement in! It's been a long TTC journey over the last 5 years...

Hope everyone is feeling well in these early days xx

@miaulin I'm sorry you are going through this. How are you this morning? X

Jay210 · 15/07/2021 08:55

Hi @miaulin sending you lots of hugs, hope you are doing ok this morning x

miaulin · 15/07/2021 09:03

Hi guys, so lovely to see you checking up up on me it means a lot

Not feeling the best, woke up with really bad cramps and rang my EPU again, they're seeing me today at 2pm

Still bleeding and having clots, cramps have eased from this morning though.

I'm hoping the bleeding is due to something else and trying to remain hopeful that I will see the little heart beat again but I'm not so sure I will

KayL1988 · 15/07/2021 09:15

Sending you lots of love and positive thoughts @miaulin xxxx

Butterscotchseven · 15/07/2021 09:29

@miaulin thinking of you, it is such a nerve wracking time.

Hope everyone else is doing okay too. I’ve had what has felt like the stitch today on one side… ugh any ache, pain, niggle, cramp and I am zoning in on it in my head. But must not Google

amandag64 · 15/07/2021 10:45

can anyone tell me at what week you can hear the heartbeat at an ultrasound ?

Thanks very much x

firstimemamma · 15/07/2021 11:04

@miaulin hope everything goes ok at 2pm

treesall · 15/07/2021 11:11

@miaulin really hope you get good news later.

I'm 5+1 today and a bit sad because I did a weeks indicator today (7 days after I got a 2-3) and sadly it's still on 2-3. I know they're not 100% reliable but it's always been a pretty good indicator previously that things aren't working out. Sigh! Slightly sore boobs did finally materialise yesterday so I'm not quite giving up hope yet but my gut feeling isn't very good about this pregnancy.

CharlieSassy · 15/07/2021 12:08

I've never heard of doing another weeks indicator test later! I'm 5+0 today, and my test said 1-2 weeks when I found out on Sunday. Now thinking of doing another this Sunday! I sadly lost one already and I am so anxious this time :(

Lilypad121 · 15/07/2021 12:56

@treesall @CharlieSassy don't get too hung up on those weeks indicators. There are dozens of threads on here about people worrying over the results and going on to have positive outcomes. I did one at 4+3 and got 2-3, was delighted but then started to panic when I did another one at 5+3 and it still said 2-3 weeks. I was working myself up into a panic and was going to keep buying them until I got a 3+(this is our first ever pregnancy after 5 years TTC) but after I read online and had a look at several threads I realised I was only causing more stress for myself so I haven't bothered testing since. I'm now 6+6 and I'm going to assume everything is going as it should until my early scan next week.
I'm still anxious about the uncertainty and all the things that could go wrong, but I think we're all in the same boat! Smile

CharlieSassy · 15/07/2021 13:02

@Lilypad121 you are so right, it's so easy to get into a panic. I feel like every day I read something new I should or shouldn't be doing. I feel very overwhelmed and a bit stupid. I booked an early scan privately which will be at 7+3 I'm going to take your advice I think and try not to think about it until then. Other than being more tired and some pain that comes and goes I don't feel any different. It genuinely just feels like my period is due!

Shortmamashortcycles · 15/07/2021 13:26

Firstly, sending good, sticky bean vibes to everyone feeling anxious today, esp @miaulin!

Secondly, much less serious but I do need a mini-rant... so much for my GP-mandated rest. Nursery closed due to someone testing positive for covid and DH on a brutal deadline (literally in the middle of a trial, cannot take a day off), so here I am feeling like death warmed up running around after a toddler for the next 10 days. Yay... (help me)

treesall · 15/07/2021 13:28

@Lilypad121 you are totally right...however after 4 consecutive miscarriages I find it easier to be prepared and those have so far been good indicators for me. If it's 3+ in a few days then that's great, I'm in with a chance, but if not then at least I won't be shocked when I'm scanned.

Good luck with your scan next week - eeek! x

Lilypad121 · 15/07/2021 13:34

@CharlieSassy definitely don't feel stupid! And I'm sorry for your previous loss. Hopefully your scan will be positive and reassuring! X

@treesall I can see why you'd want the reassurance, so sorry for you losses, hopefully this will be it for you and your scan goes well xx

miaulin · 15/07/2021 14:53

Update -

On my way back from my EPU appointment
They did a pelvic exam and said my cervix is closed and reassured me that I'm not having a miscarriage.
Didn't find a reason why I'm bleeding.

They've booked me in for a scan next Tuesday to check how baby is doing.

Thank you all for the positive vibes and love 💕

Lya4 · 15/07/2021 15:05

Just had a call from the midwife to book in first appointment. She asked me date of last period etc. She put me at 7 weeks and due date 3 March whereas I thought I was 6+4 and due date 6 March due to longer cycles. She didn't ask me cycle length. Should I go with her dates or mine?

CharlieSassy · 15/07/2021 15:21

@miaulin I am so relieved for you! Been thinking about you lots today! Take it easy and all the best for the scan next week

CharlieSassy · 15/07/2021 15:23

@Lya4 I wouldn't worry too much about it at this stage. The midwife will be estimating based on the average. When you have your first scan the date will likely change and be more accurate :)

Peanut87 · 15/07/2021 15:58

@miaulin amazing news, you must feel so relieved! Tuesday will be here in no time and you’ll be able to see your baby again 💕

So there seems to be a pattern in my spotting, it’s only in the morning then absolutely nothing all day. Has anyone else had this? Mind wife at EPU yesterday said it will just be everything stretching and implanting properly, I feel a lot more relaxed now I’ve seen our little one and it’s heartbeat but can’t wait for this to stop I dread every time I go to the loo 😩

Hope your all well x

Peanut87 · 15/07/2021 15:58

*midwife that should have said 😂

JuneySunshine · 15/07/2021 16:17

Hi @Peanut87

Apologies in advance for TMI!
I've had this with spotting, as in only having a brown tinge to CM in the morning and it's white the rest of the day. I'd made up some possible explanations Hmm. Either bean is nocturnal and doing more stretching/ implanting etc over night, or because in the time I'm asleep CM builds up and this is the only time I can see the colour of it as opposed to through the day when I'm peeing/ wiping all the damn time. Obviously just trying to put my mind at ease too.

Lovely to hear about everyone's scans, really hoping to get to that point myself.

Champersandchocolate · 15/07/2021 16:29

Hi I’m 4 weeks + 3 with my rainbow baby and delighted. So far just a nasty rash and cramps! I have two daughters already who are 7&9! X

Butterscotchseven · 15/07/2021 17:00

@miaulin ❤️ Fabulous news!!

Butterscotchseven · 15/07/2021 17:03

Congrats @Champersandchocolate!! I had a bad rash randomly myself all over my arms and my back. My doctor suspected it was pregnancy related but when I did a pregnancy test it was negative… that certainly changed 🙌🏼 Such a strange symptom to experience!!! Hope yours isn’t causing you too my grief! They can be so uncomfortable

hopesprings22 · 15/07/2021 17:09

Thanks for updating us @miaulin , so so pleased for you - I was thinking of you at 2pm!

@Champersandchocolate congratulations and welcome 😊💐
