Thought I'd start a new thread for us expecting March 2022!

Congratulations!!

I'm 4+2 with my first, conceived via IVF. I have endo & adeno so pretty nervous. Have told hubby & my sis so far but it's hard keeping the excitement in! It's been a long TTC journey over the last 5 years...

Hope everyone is feeling well in these early days xx

Anyone have a rough idea how long these cramps will last?! Every time I get one it makes me panic slightly even though I know it’s normal

abbs1 · 03/07/2021 07:05

@timeisnotaline i also suffered terribly with hg in my 1st pregnancy so im just waiting for it to start again now. 😔
I hope its not too bad for you this time.

toadstool32 · 03/07/2021 07:10

No nausea or sore boobs here so I'm panicking it's going to be another mc

HereIfYouNeedMe · 03/07/2021 07:38

Hey everyone! I'm due March, I'm 3w6d with 2nd after having an ectopic back in January and a chemical last month! Congratulations to everyone here 🤩
I have my scan in a couple of weeks to check it's in the right place

miaulin · 03/07/2021 07:58

Hi everyone! I will be 5 weeks on Sunday with my first 🥰
Im so excited but nervous and scared about everything 😅

Has anyone else here had slight spotting?
My doctors reassured me it's very normal at this stage and not to worry but im still a little anxious

Lya4 · 03/07/2021 08:50

I took another digital and it's progressed to 2-3 weeks so hcg is rising so I feel a bit calmer now. Had two mmc's before so a bit nervous of that.

Also woken up feeling slightly nauseous so obviously I panicked too soon!

Cramps are totally normal in the first few weeks! It's baby getting comfy in the womb and everything moving and stretching a bit to make room!

timeisnotaline · 03/07/2021 08:52

abbs1 hopefully you get lucky - if this baby works out and it doesn’t turn into HG I will think I’ve won the lottery! I’m struggling a bit but not on any medication, it’s totally normal pregnancy nausea, and able to get up and do things and see people! Fingers crossed Thursday shows a growing baby :)

amandag64 · 03/07/2021 09:08

Hi all. Found out I am pregnant earlier this week. Over the moon 😍 had a miscarriage back in March so very happy it has happened so soon after just praying everything goes well. I think I'm about 5+2. Congrats everyone xxxx

Lya4 · 03/07/2021 09:16

@amandag64 Congratulations and welcome to the group! Smile

amandag64 · 03/07/2021 09:17

Thank you Smile

intheheights · 03/07/2021 09:50

@miaulin aww congrats!! I'm now 5 weeks with my first too. I'm exactly the same with feeling excited and nervous. I booked an early scan for 3 weeks time so I'll see how it is then!

Aww that's lovely! So excited for you and hope the scan goes well! 🥰
How did you go about booking a early scan? My doctors have been lovely but not very keen to get me in for a scan till I'm about 10 weeks...

Elune · 03/07/2021 11:34

You can pay privately for early scans. Babybond is who we used. NHS won't offer unless there's a clinical need - your first scan will be your 12-week scan (which can happen any time from 10ish to 14 weeks).

MissL85 · 03/07/2021 11:58

It seems my constant hunger has gone - but that could be because I'm eating every three hours - and my breasts feel so heavy and tender to the touch. I still keep checking my knickers every time I go to the loo, though. I just need to get to Wednesday so they can do the early ultrasound on me.

intheheights · 03/07/2021 12:44

@miaulin thank you 🥰 the scan isn't an NHS one, I just googled for early pregnancy scans near me and found quite a few! The appointments were getting booked up so I thought I would just book in now 😊

Neom87 · 03/07/2021 13:25

@kayl1988 and @ttcsolo the bloating is bad! I said to my sister last night how is it possible at this stage that only one pair of my jeans fit comfortably! No pint in me buying new ones and too early for maternity ones!! Looks like it's leggings for me for the foreseeable!

@missl85 I feel the same as you, had my mc at 6 weeks in April - can't wait to get past Tuesday, as then i have gone further, feel like it's a milestone in my head!

TTCSOLO · 03/07/2021 13:38

I'm so relieved to hear so many of you are having cramps, I have a mild panic every time I get anything! 🙈 it's reassuring to hear that it's normal

Cuwins · 03/07/2021 16:26

I have been quite nauseous on and off today and the last couple of days, particularly in the early afternoon. I’m taking this as a good sign as with my 2 MC I never had any symptoms beyond sore boobs.

Milly238 · 03/07/2021 16:44

Hello ladies! I found out yesterday that I’m 3 weeks pregnant and due in March! I’m excited but also terribly anxious and already worrying about so much especially as I didn’t wait for AF to be late before I tested. I have no symptoms aside from very sore boobs and dull cramps every now and then. Hoping that’s normal at this stage?

Thanks, @Neom87

I have been having stomach cramps today that were quite painful, but after releasing a bit of wind they seem to have got better. Anyone else got a bit of wind? I thought I was having an ectopic pregnancy earlier, but the pain doesn't seem to be in the right area. I know it's probably by stomach inflammation and IBS playing up.

@Milly238 Congratulations! Yes that's all completely normal I have sore boobs and slight cramping. I'm 5 weeks today this is my second I have a 2.5 year old DD

The worry is awful isn't it I found out at 9DPO so it's going to be a long road lol

Milly238 · 03/07/2021 23:06

@Minnie296 congrats!! Ahh thank you that’s made me feel tons better. I got my BFP yesterday (between 8dpo-10dpo) so I found out quite early too! The worry really is the worst and I feel so alone as only DP knows - thank goodness for MN!

@MissL85 I wouldn’t worry about those cramps. Definitely sounds like trapped wind or IBS - I had some like that today and I suspect (TMI sorry) it’s because I’ve been so constipated since yesterday!

KayL1988 · 04/07/2021 08:50

@Neom87 I've also literally started wearing leggings or floaty dresses and tights because of the bloating! I had bought a dress for an event in a few weeks and I'm hoping the bloating goes down a little bit because at the moment it feels rather tight...

@TTCSOLO I find knowing other people have same symptoms really reassuring too! Difficult to know what to expect!

@MissL85 no wind but my toilet habits have definitely changed! I think it's all down to hormonal changes though!

Happy Sunday everyone!

rainfrog21 · 04/07/2021 09:05

@KayL1988 thanks for sharing, I'm normally fairly "regular" and was starting to worry about the bloat and lack of movement!!!! Reassuring to know it's not just me. Have a wedding to go to in August and wondering what on earth I'll wear - literally my entire wardrobe is based around my waist as its normally the smallest bit of me Confused and I've got mostly sharp tailoring - guess I'll have to start embracing floaty dresses or some kind of boxy shift thing !!!

TTCSOLO · 04/07/2021 10:11

@MissL85 I've had some sharp cramps too, so glad it's not just me! Everytime it's happened I've thought something is wrong, but they seem to settle quickly. My boobs are now so uncomfortable in an underwired bra, I had to buy non wired yesterday, I feel like I'm 90!
