I've caved in and booked a scan for sat I'll be 7w6d. My best friend told me she was pregnant today and if this one isnt viable I need to no asap.

Sorry to all the sickness sufferers, I'm very tired and nauseous but also not sure how much of that is worry.

@cnizzle it sounds like your nausea might be in the post, mine started like yours, little bouts here and there and then BOOM all day nausea from 6.5 weeks, same with my last pregnancy.

Thanks. Still bleeding like a period today, not passed any clots but have mild period pain. I’m not sure at what point I should return to EPU. They couldn’t see any reason for the bleed yesterday and the pregnancy was still viable but I feel it can’t possibly be with the amount of bleeding I’m having and the cramps. They said they’d do a rescan in 3 weeks but not sure I can wait that long just for them to tell me I’ve lost it 🙁 xx

@Winterfellismyhome I’m with you on symptoms ramping up at 8 weeks. I’ve not been hit by the nausea too badly so far (as long as I constantly eat…) but feeling so exhausted the entire time. Hope you’re doing ok.

I have my booking in appointment with the midwife on Friday. Does anyone know what to expect? Apparently it takes an hour?!

@Sycamore89 I also have my booking in appointment on Friday. Last time I was pregnant (7 year ago) we went through both mine and my partners family history, health problems ect. We went through any problems I may have had, health wise.. mental health, physical health. Our family set up. Pee sample, blood test and sent on my way with a black folder with all my info in. But it could be way different now

Can't help but stress and think the worse! It really is so early though I need to remember that.

I met my midwife at my doctors yesterday, just a referral meeting really, probably could have done it over the phone tbh!

She also thinks it was too early and not to panic!

Really is a good sign they couldn't see the reason but give them a call, say it's not stopping and you're worried, will they see you again? X

@LKB89 thank you, it’s absolutely awful. I’m sat here in limbo as I just don’t know what to do. I’ve contacted the gp to see if they will do some bloods to monitor my hCG levels so I can at least see if the pregnancy is continuing. After I came out of the scan yesterday I went to the toilet and lost a lot of blood. I saw the midwife straight after and she just said ‘well everything looked fine on the scan so try not to worry and we will see what’s happening in 3 weeks but baby is fine’ but I am bleeding like a heavy period and I can’t comprehend how everything can still be fine 🤯 it’s my 4th pregnancy and although I’ve experienced spotting before, I’ve never had this. I’m hoping the gp will call back soon and agree to bloods x

@Lcj80 I really feel for you and 3 weeks is an awfully long time to wait! I’d definitely make contact again and say it’s not stopping and hopefully they’ll monitor and scan you sooner than 3 weeks!!

@Sycamore89 I had my booking in appointment ydy over the phone as @overtherainbo said all background info etc covered. I’ll have my bloods and urine done when I have the 12 week scan apparently that’s how they do it near me now it’s covid times 😬

Carefully joining...
After a miscarriage earlier this year, we are pregnant again. My support midwife has sorted out an early scan for me for tomorrow when I should be coming up to 7 weeks. I am so hoping to see a heart beat.

I've not been reading much about all you Ladies, I will try and catch up in the next few days when we get positive news tomorrow.

I'm 5+2 with my second. Due date is 28th Feb so I'm not sure if I'll end up in Feb or March so have said hello in both groups for now! Hope you're all doing well. It'll be nice to get to know you all xx

@Peachi82 I'm wishing you lots of luck. As a woman that's had two miscarriages myself this year, I was very very anxious. But the early scan shocked me!

I'm hoping you're back on this chat to tell us you've seen a successful scan! 💗

Sending positive vibes @Peachi82! I was nervous about this pregnancy after a mmc (which was first found at 12 week scan) but the early scan and strong heart beat has definitely put my mind at ease a bit! X

Anyone else sick as a dog? I'm also congested and generally feeling shite, pregnancy rhinitis is horrible!

I have a 3.5 year old to entertain for most of the week, poor love, he probably thinks I'm utterly boring right now

@Twelvetimestwo oh I've been suffering so badly. My nose and throat are constantly itchy, sneezing, eyes sore. I've had terrible nausea, smells are starting to affect me but no actual vomiting

I hope my stays the other day didn’t upset anyone. I don’t know about anyone else but I do find them reassuring, especially when it feels like the early days are just full of waiting in anticipation to be told everything is working out fine.

I had been feeling awful for the last couple of days but today doesn’t seem as bad - just so so so tired.

I did however have a couple of brown discharge moments when wiping which sent me into a panic. Spoke to my GP & local midwife unit who has said it sounds like implantation, it’s old blood and not to panic unless it becomes bright red and more consistent. I don’t have any pain at the moment, and I was told I had a cyst on my left ovary at my scan on Monday, so hoping is all okay. But I can’t get another scan at my hospital until Thursday next week so over a week of waiting.

Anyone else had similar? Trying to convince myself as it was only a few wipes, it’s all okay and normal xxx
