@Tiredandobsessed
Its on NHS website says safe. The prescribing name is Fluticasone Furoate. Im a nurse practitioner and there are antihistamines safe to use. Severe hayfever is terrible ans really gets you down!!
It's debilitating isn't it & the thought of no relief is just horrendous.
No I agree, I'm an ANP too, some nasal sprays are safe as are some some antihistamines if advised by the GP but the pp had been told not to use a Nasal spray which I found a bit odd!

Hello! Just found out I’m 4+5 and created an account to join this thread ☺️ First time pregnant and super nervous- thinking of getting an early scan to put my mind at ease? Any advice welcome!

daddydas · 16/06/2021 21:05

I'm due February 8th. Had a miscarriage last January at 9 weeks and another ectopic pregnancy on April so a bit stressed. Hope everything goes well for me and all of you.

Winterfellismyhome · 16/06/2021 21:14

@Tiredandobsessed my apologies, she said I couldn't use beconase as thats the one i asked about. Glad there are other options out there

littlelionroars · 16/06/2021 22:10

Hi Everyone,

I am on the other Feb babies thread but I thought I'd join in here too.

Almost 7 weeks along, due on 4 Feb.

I am 36, and have a 3.5 year old DS.

Sadly I had a miscarriage in Feb and a chemical pregnancy in March.

Really hoping this one sticks!

So far no major symptoms, just sore boobs, bloating and feeling a slight loss of appetite in the evenings for some reason!

If anyone is still breastfeeding, how are you getting on? I am starting to get full on feeding aversion. It hurts and DC1 is a wriggler.

Winnie87 · 17/06/2021 21:15

@tierneytarny I'm still feeding and yes it's very sore! I'm weaning her off me though and I'm only feeding once at night now. Much to her disappointment! I do co sleep as well some of the nightl. Trying to get her sleeping habits better but she's never been a good sleeper 😴

Hi all! I hope it's okay to join! I also submitted a request to the Facebook group x

I'm 28 and unfortunately like other ladies here I suffer from recurrent miscarriages, furtherest we got was 8+4 but the spotting started around 7+5. I'm on a whole bucket of medicines including Clexane, aspirin, progesterone, extra folic acid + vitamin d. To throw my two cents in, I'm team up the back for the Cyclogest lol!!

This morning I had a scan at EPU and was measuring 7+1 right on date with a heartbeat. After the miscarriages, I'm struggling quite badly with anxiety. I'm in two worlds whether to get excited or not until we hit 12 weeks but I thought joining a group may be the first way to start!

Feeling really nauseous and dizzy (and tons of discharge Confused TMI sorry)

Looking forward to seeing all our pregnancies stick and some happy Feb babies. Maybe even a couple Valentine's Day babiesThanks xxx

@Winnie87 isn’t it sore 🙈 my DC only feeds a few times again but I dread it. I don’t want to stop but if things don’t improve I can’t see how I can continue.

momo20 · 18/06/2021 06:50

Hi all, I've been reading everyone's posts and I realised most people are having their booking appointment at 8 weeks, whilst mine isn't until 10 weeks? I still haven't had many symptoms so I feel like until I meet a midwife or have scan, this pregnancy hasn't felt very real!

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 18/06/2021 06:58

@momo20 mine is 9 weeks. Tbh it doesn't look like it'll be very useful, and seems like they'll be telling us stuff we already will have looked up like what we shouldn't eat and how we should exercise etc www.nhs.uk/pregnancy/finding-out/your-first-midwife-appointment/
It's the scan I'm looking forward to at hopefully 12 weeks

Winnie87 · 18/06/2021 08:05

@tierneytarny I don't really want to tandem feed reason why I'm trying to wean her off now. Plus it's really not comfortable at moment 😅

thingymaboob · 18/06/2021 11:56

@momo20 my booking appointment isn't until 10 weeks either. They aim for 9-11 weeks in my area

Winterfellismyhome · 18/06/2021 11:59

@Winnie87 the 9th of Feb. You?

Winnie87 · 18/06/2021 12:00

5th of feb from my apps anyway have booking in appointment next week hopefully scan isn't long after! Longest wait isn't it for the first scan

@tierneytarny I’m also still feeding my nearly 2yr old, looking to stop before baby arrives, send me all the dust for this miracle.
@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 if it’s your first baby the midwife will ask some medical history questions of you/partner and immediate family, but yes roll on scans

tierneytarny · 18/06/2021 13:01

@Winnie87 & @Waiting4holidays I don’t want to tandem feed either though my DC turns 2 around my due date so I feel guilty as wanted to get to 2 years 🙈

Mummysausage36 · 18/06/2021 13:26
