Winnie87 · 18/06/2021 14:07

My daughter just doesn't seem to want to give up she very attached 😂 that why i thought if I started now hopefully I'd at least get a little break in between babies..

Hi all Smile hope it's okay that I join, I got my bfp on Monday and have had another since, both clear positives! Still shocked but feel fine / with some cramping.. will be 5 weeks on Monday I believe from what I've worked out but I'm unsure when to contact midwife at my doctors - when did you? xx

Winnie87 · 18/06/2021 16:42

@cemady congratulations on your bfp! I contacted mine about 6 weeks to get my 8 weeks booking in appointment sorted. 😊

Hi guys,

Congratulations everyone!!

I have recently got a BFP and think I'm due Feb 2022! 😊

According to my LMP I am 7 weeks and 2 days but I got negative test up until day 41 of my cycle.

I'm thinking I could have ovulated late meaning I'm only about 5 weeks pregnant.

Has this happened to anyone?

choccrumpet · 18/06/2021 19:44

@Carz2022 congratulations! There's about a 5 day difference between my LMP and ovulation calculations so I'm actually about 4+3 instead of just over 5

Carz2022 · 18/06/2021 19:56

@choccrumpet ya I didn't use ovulation tests but I think I ovulated really late on my cycle like day 30 .. I suppose we'll be given our due dates with dating scan at 12 weeks hopefully 😬

Hi me too! How are you ladies feeling? Overall I’m ok, but feeling very nauseous and the smell of meat is starting to bother me.

I’ve been trying to find natural remedies for morning sickness and I’ve heard lavender is good for this. I will try to share what I find. But I did find a nice recipe for lavender lemonade which should be nice for the summer.

I did have some cramping and spotting a couple of days ago but my dr assured me it was normal in this early stage. So I would
Not worry. It’s actually your uterus stretching at this stage. My dr said as long as you’re not having extremely painful cramps and bleeding heavily then it is just normal at this stage. Spotting and cramps is very common so please don’t worry.

Wishing all you ladies a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Marshmallow

MarshmallowSwede · 18/06/2021 20:15

Feeling the same. I’ve been nearly unable to eat for 2 days as I’ve been so nauseous. I’ve forced myself to eat of course but I’ve been feeling terrible.

I read that lavender is a good remedy for morning sickness.

MarshmallowSwede · 18/06/2021 20:16

For anyone having problems with nausea and morning sickness here is a list of useful essential oils that you can use to help with that.

Fkar1 · 18/06/2021 20:42

Hi everyone, how are you all doing? My partner is watching the football and his beer is making me feel equally nauseous and jealous 🤣.

On another subject, I’ve just had an email from my midwife team about my screening, it’s on the 13th July, in which time I’ll be 11weeks. Does anyone know much about the screening appointment, from what I can see it’s about having tests for downs, diabetes etc. Do you have to be tested for them all or can you pick and choose..? I have no idea which ones I should be choosing!

MarshmallowSwede · 18/06/2021 21:08

My Dr told me its very normal now at this stage. Your uterus is already starting to expand and that’s part of it.. so please don’t worry.

glasspaw · 18/06/2021 22:19

@MarshmallowSwede I’ve found peppermint tea helpful with this. I’m getting really bad nausea every day at the moment. Hope it doesn’t last too long!

girlmummy25 · 18/06/2021 22:28

Hi Ladies,

Congratulations to you all!

I got my BFP today after 7 months ttc. I already have a 2 year old DD.

A little nervous as AF is 2 days late and line on FRER is still lightish. Will test again in the morning and hawk eye if the line is getting darker!

Will be having a few private scans early as ive had a previous missed miscarriage.

ownedbycats · 19/06/2021 05:10

It's 5AM. I wanted to test in the morning but I woke up at 4 so I stupidly decided to take a test. It's lighter than my first two, barely visible at all, and now I'm here sobbing. I know it isnt healthy to take tests every day and maybe it's because theyre cheap tests off amazon, but now I feel like it's a chemical. When really it might be just too early - periods are wonky but BD was 19 days ago.

ArabeIIaFigg · 19/06/2021 05:39

Cautiously joining… got a faint BFP yesterday and today, and should be due 28 February if all goes well! We had a stillbirth before DD (who just turned four) and I did not enjoy being pregnant, so wondering how this one will go. On the other hand, I’m already making name lists and window shopping online, so there is an element of optimism there somewhere!

Mummysausage36 · 19/06/2021 08:50

ownedbycats I've had the same I tested at 16 dpo and the line was faint same at 17 dpo But I tested later on in the day both days and got stronger lines which is odd, try that and see if your lines do the same. Please try not to worry ( easier said than done) you may just have ovulated later on your cycle.

Mummysausage36 · 19/06/2021 08:55

ArabeIIaFigg im sorry you went through that I can imagine that will make you extra nervous through this pregnancy Flowers. I'm doing the same looking at prams cots etc I keep telling myself to stop but I just can't Grin

ownedbycats · 19/06/2021 09:10

Thanks mummysausage. I've decided to try to just wait and see if I get my period and not take any tests for a few days, for the sake of my mental health, on bf's recommendation. If it's not meant to be I can't do anything about it and worrying won't change anything.

feb2022 · 19/06/2021 09:49

Hi everyone can I join?
I found out I'm pregnant yesterday and going off my app I should be due around the 22nd
I'm really anxious though, I have a 2 and a half year old and a 1 and a half year old already both turn 2 and 3 in December so I'm freaking out a little bit lol

Upsydasiy · 19/06/2021 16:21

Can I join?

Pregnant with #2
I think I’m around 6 weeks (early scan booked for next week) struggling with sickness and constant nausea, previous hyperemesis.

Currently extremely exhausted 😴

But really excited had a few miscarriages between number 1 and this pregnancy so very nervous
