I feel bloated all day long @Shsh Sad

Shsh · 13/06/2021 17:03

How far are you? Is this your first? This is my first I have no idea what to expect.. some days I feel completely normal and others not.. found out 4 days ago and already feels like forever ago 😂

stripytiger09 · 13/06/2021 17:10

Please can I join?
I'm 5+4, 3rd pregnancy and have one son who's 20 months. My last pregnancy ended in TFMR at 13 weeks in February so hoping and praying this one will all be okay!
Currently very few symptoms but they don't usually fully start until about 6 weeks so I'm not worried ☺️
Photo of my dye stealer! Done on Thursday at 5+1

@glasspaw it depends on the surgery for when you tell your GP. I gather some like to see you right away, others don't bother seeing you in the surgery and ask you to call around 6 weeks to book in for your first midwife appointment.
When to tell your employer is up to you, and also dependant on your job. Some require risk assessments so you should tell them early. My last two pregnancies I told my employer around 8 weeks as I was so sick and meant I didn't have to make excuses for appointments

choccrumpet · 13/06/2021 17:20

Hi everyone, I'd like to (cautiously) join 🤗 I've been debating whether to or not but thought it would be nice to speak to ladies going through something similar. I'm 4+2 or 4+3 according to my apps, not sure why they're calculating differently (anyone know?) and have had a few chemicals hence the caution.. my period was due today and so far so good 🤞🏼 symptom wise I've had really sore boobs that are getting worse every day, tiredness & some nausea. Is anyone else experiencing symptoms this early? This will hopefully be our first, my partner and I have been trying for 11 months so really hoping this is it for us.

Winterfellismyhome · 13/06/2021 17:30

@choccrumpet congratulations! My boobs are really sore today and ive been feeling sick for a few days too. Hopefully they're good signs!

chelsea93lucas · 13/06/2021 18:14

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I had my repeat HCG levels took this morning and they've come back at 2038. So a 69% jump in 48 hours. They want me back on Tuesday for more bloods 🙄

Just praying they've gone up again 🤞🏼

choccrumpet · 13/06/2021 18:46

@Winterfellismyhome thank you, you too, that's good to know 🤗 the warm weather isn't helping the tiredness but not complaining, I do love the warm weather. How far along are you? Have you got children or will this be your first?

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I swear I'm not following you 🙈🙈

Winterfellismyhome · 13/06/2021 19:12

@choccrumpet thank you Smile. Im not a fan of the summer so it cant quickly enough for me lol. Im 5 weeks and 4 days with my second, already have a 3 year old DS. You?

lovelly · 13/06/2021 19:56

@Tiredandobsessed

Hi all, just looking for a little reassurance I think. I'm 5w5d & I didn't have many symptoms- heavy full boobs, underlying mild nausea, bloating in the evening & intermittent cramps. Since yesterday afternoon I've noticed them disappear, even my boobs seem smaller this morning. The other threads suggests it's fluctuating HCG levels but I'm just wondering if anyone elses symptoms come & go?
i m also 5 week 5 day and sympton came and go at morning no sore nipple and its flat from day i have sore breast but its gone at morning and came at night little bit nausea at night like once a day no morning sickness
choccrumpet · 13/06/2021 20:03

@Winterfellismyhome I love summer! 😆 that's lovely, first for us hopefully

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 13/06/2021 20:56

@choccrumpet 👋 it's lovely to see you, great we're pregnant as the same time!

@chelsea93lucas good luck for your next bloods. I thought that more than 60% over two days is good when it gets into the thousands, so 🤞 they increase a good amount again and you can relax. Will they scan you again?

Lmb1991 · 14/06/2021 06:20

Can I very cautiously and incredibly shocked, join you all :) im 6+4 atm, due the 3rd feb 2022. Already have 14 month old, so 2nd pregnancy!! Xx

Waiting4holidays · 14/06/2021 08:27

Just catching up on some of the messages @Winnie87 I’m in the same boat, my soon to be 2yr old is still feeding at night 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’d at least like a few weeks of a full nights sleep before it all starts again lol

Tabbycat92 · 14/06/2021 08:43

Hi @Lmb1991 and congratulations!

I'm so fed up with this fatigue right now. I just feel absolutely knackered all the time, zero energy. Anyone else?

choccrumpet · 14/06/2021 08:49

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 it still feels surreal!

@Tabbycat92 I feel it, I'm surprised that it's so early on. How far along are you?

I'm feeling so nauseous again this morning 🤢 it's making me feel a little lightheaded. Anyone have any tips to help with nausea?

Miller2021 · 14/06/2021 08:50

Wow, so lovely to see so many new pregnancies joining this group over the weekend!

Quick question about due dates: as I haven't been scanned yet, I've been estimating mine using the NHS calculator which uses the first day of your last period (which makes me 4+5 today), but I'm pretty certain I ovulated on CD12, which puts me at 5+1. Those of you who have given your due date on this thread, how did you calculate it?

choccrumpet · 14/06/2021 08:54

@Miller2021 would love to know the same! I'm going by my first day of LMP but my apps are telling me I'm 4+4 (from first date of LMP) or 4+3 which is the day after my period. My cycles are also slightly longer than 28 days and a bit all over the place, I ovulate later so have no idea how to calculate properly! So going by this until someone tells me differently

stripytiger09 · 14/06/2021 08:54

Ok so this morning the sickness has well and truly started! 5+5, full of cold (thanks toddler) and not feeling very sick. Hoping it's a good sign! Although enduring 28° heat and going to work today is going to be complete and total hell 😩
@Waiting4holidays my son isn't feeding anymore but still wakes up multiple times a night for a drink/dummy. He'll be 2 in September and quite a handful at times! Will this be your second baby?

Tabbycat92 · 14/06/2021 08:59

@choccrumpet it's a pain isn't it. I'm 6+2 today. I don't think the heat is helping haha.

@Miller2021 good question! I've been going from first day of last AF which puts me at 6+2. I'm not 100% when I ovulated this cycle as I ovulated early and missed it with LH strips. But if I went with the date I guess at it puts me at 6+1, so not a huge difference for me

Miller2021 · 14/06/2021 09:02

@choccrumpet Tbh I'm just desperate to get over the 5-week line and anything that puts me into week 5 is great news!

Tiredandobsessed · 14/06/2021 09:04

@Miller2021 There's a couple of calculators online that you can put your ovulation date in which might be more suitable for you 🥰

I've done this as well as I know I ovulated on CD 17. Makes it easier for booking an early scan etc

Sycamore89 · 14/06/2021 09:30

@Tabbycat92 - I’m with you on the weather! Feeing very tired and slightly sick today for the first time… but not sure whether it’s all in my head, the heat, or actual symptoms!

choccrumpet · 14/06/2021 09:52

@Tabbycat92 I spent most of the day outside in the sun yesterday and was struggling so much in the evening, wanted to sit and do nothing 😅

@Miller2021 agreed!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 should I be calculating using my ovulation date then or my first day of last period? It's so confusing 🙈
