Hi just got my definition positive pregnancy test this morning and working out I'm due early February..""🥰🥰

@lovelly They didn't check my HCG in the end as they could see the gestational sac in the uterus so said it wasn't worth doing x

I was wondering if these cramps I've got could be a UTI actually. My backache is like under my ribs and towards my left side near my hips. It's really strange to explain but I've had it on and off for 5 days now. I have constant cramps in my lower stomach but they are very mild, but I can just tell they are there.

No bleeding and still have my sore boobs, also want to wee a lot (to check for blood) but nothing comes out.

Should I ring my gp?

@Lbiddis I don’t think I could handle a day off at the minute I’d send myself mad. Suffered severe food poisoning last night. I won’t be graphic but it was so severe I almost passed out a couple of times so I’ve got that to worry about now. Hope you had a good day off & all any of us can do is take each day at a time.

To the ladies that have experienced cramps then bleeding with their m/cs I didn’t have any cramps both times I just started bleeding out of the blue no warning whatsoever. When I was having contractions with dd I didn’t feel them though so not sure if my body’s not right or anyone else has had the same. Hope you’re all ok x

Thinking of everyone with all the mixed emotions, scary how much you want something even when it's so early. I know how you all feel... I've had a sharp prodding pain in the exact same spot in my groin all day, I've got quite a complex history & at risk of ectopic so I panicked. Luckily got to speak to a really nice GP who sent me straight to EPU, scanned and gestational sac & yolk sac were in the right place. I'm only 5w1d so wasn't sure they'd see anything, got to go back in 2 weeks to see if it's viable. The pain is still there but my heart rate has slowed down a little now!

This has given me hope. I had this type of pain all day yesterday, it seems to have died down a little now but still worried. I'm 5w5d so hoping to see something on the scan too, although it's early. Can I ask, did you get an ultrasound or transvaginal scan?

@Dreamer30 I've got everything crossed for your scan this morning. My pain has also settled now but yesterday definitely helped calm me down. I had a transvaginal scan (or dildo-cam as it's called in my house 😂) they did warn me that they might not see anything but luckily we did x

The 'sack' is tiny. About the size of a smartie tbh. She said she wasn't sure if it even was a sack. I've had my bloods done and will get the results back this afternoon. She said my pregnancy test is really faint. If my numbers are high I'll go back in 2 days but if they're low it means miscarriage. Just what I thought anyway. She said if they are high and double on Saturday it may mean I'm pregnant but the pregnancy is elsewhere eg. Tubes. Or that what looks like the sack could be a clot left over from my last miscarriage. After that though my tests went negative and all my symptoms disappeared so I know this is a new pregnancy. I'm honestly devastated this is happening for the 2nd time. Would love to know why :(

@Dreamer30 I’m so sorry. Re clot if you had a period between your last miscarriage & this pregnancy then it would more than likely have passed then if there was one. Sound like it’s a missed miscarriage like mine where your body doesn’t catch up to the pregnancy not progressing & just carries on. I agree having 2 in a row myself it’s not nice knowing why & having to guess. Nhs & private healthcare will only investigate after 3 in a row. Don’t be hard on yourself it’s not your fault x

I got my hcg levels back and unfortunately they are higher, but didn't double. Which means I'll have to go to the hospital tomorrow for further tests, but the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy are much higher now. I'm gutted.

@Dreamer30 did they say how big it was? Mine was 8.6mm & the consultant said that was ok and that's a smaller than a smartie. Fingers crossed that you get the levels you want on the bloods.
It's odd how all the different hospitals have different processes, makes it so confusing x

Extremely thirsty today- cannot quench it. Have just downed 3 pints of water and could drink 3 more. I’ve had a google and seems like it can be quite common just wondering if anyone else got this?

@winnie87 and @mabelh I'm also knackered but unsure if it's just the toddler. I have had a couple of naps without her though so think it's the pregnancy 🤞. Bored of constantly needing to wee.

Anyone else's clothes feeling tight already? Or is it just me? 😂🐷🐷

I've just washed all my maternity gear ready I don't think it'll be long before I can get into my normal jeans 😳

I had my BFP a few days ago at 9dpo - although it was vvv faint. Now at 12dpo and got a defined line.
I will be due 20th feb. First baby - me and my husband are so excited.
Doesn't feel real yet - maybe cause I've not yet had symptoms or anything change

Yep I'm so bloated also, it's stretchy clothes for me atm. Don't know what I'm going to do about all my fitted workwear 🤪🙈

Plus I'm so so thirsty and waking up to pee at least three times a night, and just not sleeping well generally

Can I join too? I tested positive on Tuesday, now at 4+2-ish, due on 15th Feb.

It's our first baby so we're very excited, but risk of miscarriage is quite high at my age (just turned 41) so it's mixed with nerves - fingers are firmly crossed. Today was the first morning I didn't pee on a stick to confirm it's still there, so I see that as progress!

Did you all tell your GPs straight away? I was planning to wait til 5 weeks just in case.
