May babies - anyone else due soon?

Hi ladies, I’m due on the 20th but think I will be early. How is everyone doing?

I’ve had {what I think is} round ligament pain for the past two days and it is sooooo painful! Like a sharp stabbing pain on my right side that takes my breath away! Has anyone else had this? If it continues today I think I’ll speak to midwife but had a growth scan yesterday and everything was absolutely fine so atleast I’m not worrying about the baby!

Yes I've had this for nearly 2 weeks now
Been checked by midwife/hospital etc
Am a pre eclampsia risk
We definitely think it's positional lying from baby
Any sharp, painful right side under rib pain I'd get checked out just to be in safe side though

I've also been having the pain when stood/walking. It feels like he's resting on a nerve or on my urethra or both! I've just been waddling around in pain the last day or so. The odd cramp too but nothing contraction-y unfortunately

@AyyX sorry you feel rough, it sounds like something is starting maybe! And for you too @Saltnsauceta! Maybe call the midwife and see what they think?

I feel like my baby could finally be engaging, they have dropped and finally I’m not suffering with reflux! It’s been months! Instead my bump has dropped and there is a lot of pressure down below. Walking is certainly more difficult. They also don’t seem to be transverse any more, that’s been a favourite position.

@hereforallthehelp I’ve been getting that pain too, off and on.
It sounds like things are getting moving @AyyX ... lots #2s clearing you out is a sign for sure. I def feel ‘different’ and so very exhausted currently. These last few weeks are hard work. It’s so difficult to be comfortable anywhere (sitting, lying, walking... )

I called the delivery suite and they told me to come in to get checked. I told them my belly feels hard and they asked if it feels hard for long or goes soft after I said it still feels hard. So I’m going to go in to get checked.

I've just had my telephone pre-op, I'm first on the list for tomorrow afternoon so I'm not likely to get bumped too far back with emergencies. My hips have decided they don't like night time any more, I was awake most of last night with pretty bad hip pain. It goes once I'm up and about though, and I'm hopeful it will stop once baby is here!

Ah this has made me feel better that we’re all experiencing it a bit - it feels like ovulation pain as it’s quite low down but quite severe and last night I was in agony! Agree on the walking / moving in general not being very fun! Will deffo get check it in continues as severe as it has been / goes under ribs - had BP taken yesterday though and was fine!

Just turned 37 weeks, and woken up with a rotten head cold. Third baby, first was 10 days late, second was exactly a week early, so hoping my system is having a clear out before things start....

Hi ladies can I join? Due my 3rd baby, a boy, on 15th May.
He's measuring big at my growth scans (which is ironic as I'm having them because previous babies were small!), so I have an induction booked on due date but hoping I go into natural labour before then 🤞

28th! So done, will be attempting all safe options from tomorrow onwards. I'm not sure if I'm allowed raspberry leaf tea unfortunately, as had PROMs in last pregnant and ended up being induced.

Currently getting monitored. I’ve been getting contraction like pains every couple minutes from about 11am. They said could be braxton hicks, at the hospital atm. The wait was sooooo long! Almost 2hours. Some lady was in labour in the waiting room and I felt so sorry for her, she had to wait so long for a room.

Due date here and apart from pressure of baby being so low, and feeling more tired, not feeling any different. I'm still nesting and any spare minute it's not spent resting but working on my endless to do list.
Must rest tomorrow, promised myself two weeks after due date to rest, as I'm convinced baby will come at 14 days late!!

Unfortunately not. So will just be attending my sweep in the morning. I hope to God its successful and I'll have a baby sometime over the weekend
