Hi all, I’m currently 4 weeks pregnant after 4 previous miscarriages. I don’t really have any symptoms other than boobs a bit sore and nipples sensitive. I’m on clexane injections, cyclogest and aspirin as all the tests they’ve run have found nothing wrong. Is anyone else due in November after loss? I thought it would be a nice idea to have a thread where we can all chat and share our journeys x

Hi everyone

I hope you don't mind me joining! I'm due 7th November, currently 15+3 weeks with my 3rd. It took a while to get here after 3 miscarriages last year. Hope everyone is feeling well. I'm currently going through a bout of horrendous sickness but hoping it eases soon!

@krj2688 congratulations! That's beautiful SmileI'm still hanging on in there... had my harmony test, looked good but waiting for the results so fingers crossed. Another scan (official dating one) this week. I cried with happiness when I saw my baby on the screen! I'm 14 weeks this week which is amazing. Had my second vaccine recently and I'm a bit worried about that so I hope all is well on the scan. I had a slight temp after it, took some paracetamol, but it unnerved me. How is everyone else?

ElmtreeMama · 23/05/2021 19:24

How's everyone doing so far?
I suddenly feel increasingly anxious that something has gone wrong and I just don't know it yet, if anything more anxious than before 12 week scan, anyone in similar boat?x

Knock123 · 24/05/2021 12:07

Sorry you're feeling nervous again. I did for a couple of weeks after my scan but now I'm almost 17 weeks and have grown a bit of a belly and think I might have felt some little pops and swishes the last couple of nights which has really reassured me. I have also found the last few weeks have gone much quicker. It's just that funny couple of weeks after the scan where it feels like nothing is happening.
I have been booking in things to break up the time between scans, e.g. I went to a hotel on Friday night, I'm getting my hair done next week, have planned dinner with a friend and booked a really expensive pregnancy massage!! It has just given me some things to look forward to to help the time go a bit quicker, maybe see if there's anything like that you can do?
It might also help to write down your worries just so they're out of your head

GSMCK · 25/05/2021 14:31

Had the redraw for my harmony 2 weeks ago then I got an email 2 days later to say there were problems at the lab and they were sending it to America!!! Anyway fast forward got the results yesterday and all good and low probability but was an anxious 2 weeks wait. I asked for the babies sex which I forgot and opened the email and read it and little peanut is a girl! My husband was in meetings all day so felt a bit bad I didn’t wait for him to read it 😂

20 week scan in 4 weeks, weirdly I still haven’t told anyone. My mum lives abroad and hasn’t been back due to Covid regulations for 10 months. I am thinking about telling them at the weekend but also feel like I might wait for 20 weeks scan! I know I am strange. Not sure what’s holding me back?

How is everyone else today? Xxx

Lucyf1995 · 25/05/2021 15:11

Only just came across this post! I'm 15+5 days pregnant after 7 miscarriages, 5 before my little boy and 2 after him and this will be my 9th pregnancy!!! How is everyone feeling? I'm due 11th November Grin

Knock123 · 25/05/2021 17:37

@GSMCK ahh a little girl!!! Congratulations!! I've barely told anyone, only parents and close friends.
I have my 20 week scan in 4 weeks as well and the rate I'm going it's going to be difficult to hide the fact I'm pregnant so have just decided after the next scan I'll stop hiding it and let people figure it out!

@Lucyf1995 wow what a journey you've been on, how are you feeling??

I've been an emotional anxious wreck lol.. but just hoping everything will be ok don't think I'll be settled until after the baby is born thank you for asking.. how're you feeling?xx

GSMCK · 26/05/2021 09:27

@Lucyf1995 getting to the 16 weeks is amazing. Just need to keep positive as you can - you are nearly half way!

@Knock123 that’s a great idea to book things to just break the worry up, lovely to have things to look forward to.

Knock123 · 26/05/2021 10:26

@Lucyf1995 thank you for asking, I'm doing OK. I still have my wobbly days but as @GSMCK says, 16w felt like a big milestone for me and I was able to relax a bit. I am 17w today and really seeing a belly pop and also feeling more energised so I can keep myself a bit busier now!

Are you getting any extra scans? If not, maybe you can book yourself a couple of private scans if you think that might help?

I've been reading an amazing book called Pregnancy After Loss by Zoe Clark Coates, I would really recommend it to anyone struggling. It's like a day by day bible and has lots of stories with happy endings from other women.

If you're not talking to anyone, see if you can get any support through your GP or midwife.

I agree though, I don't think anyone will feel 100% better until they have their babies in their arms! Just take it one day at a time, try to stay in the moment rather than worrying about the future. Mindfulness and meditation really help. Also you're not alone, we're all in this horrible club together and we can all hold each others hands when we're having a wobble xx

Aww that's amazing I'm so happy for you!!! Kinda jealous about the energy haha, I've still got none and keep being sick lol.. Can't wait for mine to pop properly instead of just looking like I've gained a few pounds haha.. yeah it is definitely a great milestone to hit! So during the first 12 weeks I had scans every 2 weeks done by the early pregnancy unit, I've been out on intermittent care so I'll be on both consultants and midwife led until I give birth. And I don't have any professional help with talking etc as I do have a great support network anyway. I've heard about that book and heard it's really good but as of yet have not purchased 😆 it's lovely to speak to people in the same situation though, not a very nice situation to say the least but it's nice to know there's others out there sharing the worries etc and great for extra support xx

Aww thank you so much!!! I keep telling myself that and sometime I just can't believe it lol! Congratulations btw!!!xx

Knock123 · 26/05/2021 22:49

@Lucyf1995 My energy has only really been back since the weekend! I've been moaning about how it's all a conspiracy they must tell pregnant women to make them feel better but I feel I've turned a huge corner and I apparently have the glow. Still getting occasional bouts of nausea though Confused

I am extremely lucky to have had access to therapy all through my pregnancy and it's been so helpful which is why I suggested it but so glad to hear you've got a great support network. Buy the book, honestly it's amazing xx

PurpleRaven777 · 27/05/2021 08:52

Hi everyone, lovely to hear you're all doing so well Smile I'll be 17wks tmw and have my first face to face appointment with my midwife. I'm very glad to be over the nausea and finally gained weight this week - probably too much the other way now 😂 I've been feeling pretty exhausted - so much for the energy of the second trimester but I guess my toddler takes some of the blame there! Anxiety wise I've been doing better about the risk of miscarriage but we have 3 weeks until our fetal medicine scan and I'm terrified about that. My bump suddenly popped at the weekend and I look very pregnant all of a sudden. I've been keeping it quiet at work but probably won't be able to hide it when I'm back in the office get week. I'd really have liked to keep quiet until after the scan but don't think it's likely. Still using the doppler most days but only for a few minutes. Been feeling movements sometimes if bump gets squished bending down or sitting hunched up - funny as with my son, I mainly felt them lying flat. Anyway sorry for both the absence and the above brain dump!

LozHAP35 · 27/05/2021 10:12

Hi everyone, sending hugs too all yous. The day has come where I see my consultant to check baby all over, I'm so excited but very very scared that something will be wrong again. My appointment isint till this afternoon. We should be ale to find out if boy or girl too but that bit isint important. I'm 18week +1 day, praying for this little bubba today I really am. So nervous and scared.

PurpleRaven777 · 27/05/2021 12:14

Loz, I will keep absolutely everything crossed for you

Knock123 · 27/05/2021 13:33

Good luck @LozHAP35, let us know how it goes xx

LozHAP35 · 27/05/2021 22:37

Hey everyone, took the consultant 40mins to do the scan but everything look absolutely fine, he checked baby all over and all is normal. Such a relief. We found out we're having a little girl, proper happy and buzzing. Feel like I'm on cloud 9. But aslo feels wierd as I had it in my head something was wrong. But all is OK.

PurpleRaven777 · 28/05/2021 20:21

Loz, I'm so thrilled for you 😊 Congrats on your little girl!

ElmtreeMama · 05/06/2021 05:35

Had a scan yesterday at 15+4 all going well and it's a girl:) :)

PurpleRaven777 · 06/06/2021 11:20

Congrats @ElmtreeMama! I'm now 18wks so less than 2wks till anomaly scan. Midwife last week all went well.

LozHAP35 · 06/06/2021 17:32

@el awwwww a little girl, now we can shop pink haha. Congratulations and I'm so happy for you that everything is OK. Iv got my 20week scan in 2days x

Tweaker · 11/06/2021 19:35

Hi all Grinlovely to read about everyone's progress. I'm 17 weeks now. Harmony test showed low risk for everything and that I'm having a boy!🥰
I feel great physically with quite a bump first thing. Still look fat more than pregnant though! A bit tired too but all good.
The only issue I have is that I feel extremely... 'hormonal' is the only way to describe it really. I'm hating my husband and absolutely everything is pissing me off Blushcan anyone relate? Honestly, I can't see my marriage surviving if I feel this bad now...

Knock123 · 13/06/2021 11:04

@Tweaker ahhh congratulations!! That's amazing news!!! I felt a huge weight lifted after Harmony testing, I decided not to find out the sex.

I am 20 weeks this week - can't believe it. I've got my scan a week tomorrow and trying not to let myself get too stressed about it.

Can totally relate to everthing pissing me off although it seems directly related to the amount of sleep I get. Yesterday I was in a mood all day but I'd had a really bad night's sleep, today I feel back to my normal self.

PurpleRaven777 · 18/06/2021 20:21

I had my fetal medicine scan today and to my shock they said all seems OK and they think we're having a girl! I'm still feeling anxious but trying to be positive now.
